The excitement of purchasing an RV was quickly turned to disappointment, then anger, then disbelief. There is a reason that RV sales are down 50% in 2023 and its not the economy. We purchased a brand new Thor motorcoach which has been riddled with major systems issues, cosmetic issues and poor workmanship. Our coach has been in service for approximately one year, yes one year straight. The issue is that things break faster than they can get parts and fix issues, the process is 1. submit issue to dealer. 2 dealer has to approve. 3 dealer sends to manufacturer for approval. 4 dealer requests part. 5 parts can take up to one or more months to arrive. Please do not let Thor ruin your dreams.

Unfortunately, I can't say too many good things about this RV other than we're happy with the floor plan we chose. That's about it.
It seriously lacks in quality, reliability, usability, and its customer service. We've owned the RV for 18 months and have not had even ONE day that everything worked as it was supposed to. Not ONE.
Initial problems were with the wiring. There were pinched/cut wires when the coach was assembled to the chassis that caused its inspection to fail because clearance lights had a direct short in the circuit. There were 5 circuits that didn't even have a fuse installed in them. There were mis-wiring in the van that led to other systems not working.
The lithium ion battery system is such a poor design that it doesn't even come close to maintaining the battery charge when ANYTHING is turned on, like the fridge. Even when the main power switch is OFF, the inverter OFF, the fridge OFF, there is still a constant discharge on the battery of -0.6 to -1.7 amps! Even though the Thor owner resource pages state that you can maintain the battery over the winter by running the engine once a month, the battery is completely discharged within a week. And once it gets below 3%, the system shuts down and won't charge at all until you plug into shore power. (Who the hell designed this stupid system???)
Less than a year into ownership, the alternator for the coach battery stopped working completely, so we've been unable to use the van at all since it's kinda important to have a working fridge when you're traveling. After waiting a month for a new alternator to arrive and get installed, there is still NO difference and the coach battery still won't charge from the engine.
Customer Service? NONE. I've contacted them multiple times about the issues we're having. They responded to one message after 3 weeks, but gave such a stupid, useless response that completely missed the whole point. When I asked for clarification, they completely ignored me and haven't replied in over a year. Even when I contacted them about these new issues, they still haven't bothered to reply to me and it's been another 3 weeks of silence from them. What a frikkin' joke.
The documentation and videos on the owners resource site don't match with our van. The schematics have errors in them and many of the guides don't really apply to our version of coach.
In a nutshell, I'd say to stay away from this horrible version of RV and Thor in general. They clearly just slap these things together whether they believe it will actually work or not. I believe they already know about the terrible design and reliability issues they have - especially with the stupid Li-ion battery systems - that they don't even respond to their customers when they have related problems.
This first RV experience for my wife and I has been a complete nightmare. I wish I had never heard of Thor. I wish we had never even looked at a Thor RV. Now it's nothing more than a money pit whose value has fallen a lot since we purchased.
I mean, you have to question the sanity of a company who integrates a storage holder for the black/gray tank hose that FITS NO KNOWN HOSE ON THE PLANET. Oh - the RV does have a roof rack on it that is completely unusable because it's mounted across the solar panels! Not only would you block the light from reaching them, but any weight on them would cause them to break. Another innovation from our friends at Thor.
Run, don't walk from this company.

This is our 3rd purchase from Camping World, the first 2 were travel trailers and we have been pleased with them so we returned to Camping World to trade on a Class A to live in full time and travel. The first trip the door flew open on the interstate and would not secure; the handle broke off in my hand. When I called Thor Customer Service, even though, I explained the door would not remain shut and the handle broke off in my hand on a brand new unit, I was told I had to go to a dealership. Thus on a busy interstate, I tied a rope to secure as best I could and after finally arriving at the dealership, they could not repair the door either. Then the kitchen cabinet/countertop came loose from the side of the coach. Many other issues with the unit and after 3 purchases all Camping World will do is offer roughly 75 % of what I paid for it Brand New less than 2 months ago. The Thor representative openly admitted on the recorded message that they were aware of quality issues with their product and thus they offered a warranty but will do nothing other than have consumer return to the dealership for warranty work, worst experience ever. Hey, Thor, how about take safety and quality serious and have no tolerance for sub standard products and then you would have happy customers and they would buy repeatedly from you, example, RV buyers buy and upgrade several times, just like my wife and I, but never again from Thor or Camping World. Sad that Thor puts out such a poor product and cares nothing for the lives of their customers and Camping World is complicit with them.

My wife and I researched motorhomes for about 2 years before we settled on the 24FE. Overall its a great machine, perfect for two adults and the occasional grandchild. We especially like the floor plan. Has room to move around in, pretty good storage capacity, usable bathroom and shower, love the slide out queen size bed. Installed a second tv in the bedroom area so both tv's are tied into a central entertainment area over the entry door. Drives great and its a length my wife feels comfortable driving. Mileage is 10 miles per gallon as expected. Haven't towed anything yet but the hitch setup looks capable of towing most things. For the money it's a loaded machine. Last camping trip I took I woke up floating on my air mattress....no more of that nonsense. Comes solar prepped so I'm installing a solar panel next. Fuse panel is in a low position on the side of the bed but accessible. Highly recommend the Freedom Elite.

Purchased on September 4, 2023 since then it has been in my possession for 10 days as of October 25, 2023. Before it left the dealers lot we had no A/C in the cab. The brakes were mushy. I went back over to the office to report this and found the office closed. Now we had to drive it home as we dropped off our old camper to pick this one up. On the way home we found the headlights were not aligned. The low beams were only about 5 feet off the front on the RV and the high beams were not a whole lot better. When on high beams on coming traffic did not flash there light for me to go to low beams. I took it back to the dealer 7 days later because I felt it was unsafe to drive. It sat at the dealers for 20 days before they did anything, and that was after I made calls to Thor, camping worlds owner. They said it had to go to Ford for the A/C, Brakes and lights. So the 3 of them sent it to a ford dealer 3 1/2 hours away. (AS no local dealer would work on it) and advised me I had to pick it up. So after another 17 days I picked up the camper from ford. A/C was fixed brakes checked and working fine. Headlights not adjustable per ford. So get it home and decide to see if I could fix the lights. I take off the shroud around the light and guss what there are the adjustments for the headlights. So I contact the dealer and offer to fix the lights for the cost of the fuel for the trip which totaled $203.76. They owed me 30 gallons anyway as tank was not full at pick up time. So with the 30 gallons off the bill it would be $118.63 for my time to fix the lights. Camping world offed me a $50.00 in store credit. So I called Thor and they told me they would not pay me to align the headlights I had to take it back to the dealer and they would fix them. This would put me back to square one as the dealer already told me they could not fix them. So in addition to the above we found before we took the R/V home the door latch dose not open correctly you have to yank on it for all your worth to get it open. The left mud flap was loose. Night stand on right side of bed was loose and sealer at wall was cracked. Wall top next to microwave was scuffed up. Door under bed for access to water tank was damaged on the bottom. Ladder for bed over cab was missing. Both outside mirrors were scratched up. Then to top it all off we get it home from ford and level up and run the slide out and we have a water leak coming out under the kitchen cabinet. Also another leak on the floor under the center of the window on the back wall. All this additional stuff is being ordered or will check it when we go back for the replacement parts. So with all this on a brand new Thor freedom traveler a30 we are out at the least $153.76 more to own it. Along with I have to repair my headlight issue. Now keep in mind I'm 76 years old and 100% disabled veteran. I would not recommend buying any Thor Product or dealing with Camping World dealers

The layout is perfect. I purchased a slightly used 2021 Palazzo in 2022. There was yellowing on the floor I couldn't clean up. The coach was barely out out of 12 month warranty.
Turns out glue is coming thru the floor due to factory not preparing floor correctly.
Requires complete floor replacement for the entire coach. 2021 model in 2023
Very challenging to have any level of communication with the warranty team. Completely one sided, all from the customer to get ANY response
Many Many thousands of dollars to fix. Will not stand behind their construction.
If you buy a new or used Thor expect to have a nice layout, but also expect SIGNIFICANT big ticket expenses. It might look ok, but understand you might have a 15 or 20K bill for underlying build quality issues (beyond the slide problems that are already well documented)

We purchased in 2018 and have hardly used the RV. It only has about 6,500 miles on it and we got it new having 2,200 miles on it from driving from the factory. Both slides are sealed horribly and leak every time it rains. The insulation and overall sealing is awful. There are several through holes which are not sealed. The electrical connections are the worst I have ever seen and almost burned the Rv up. The black holding tank almost fell off due to poor supports. All the rails for the sliding door and the curtains are screwed into the ceiling fiber with zero backing. The lights and other electrical wires were excessively long and dangling. The windows leak air and when it rains. The kitchen sink drain is improperly installed. The drain needs to have a slop down and it’s installed going up and in an unreachable location to fix without tearing out half the kitchen.
Basically this Thir RV is a POS and I would advise to not purchase a Thor product. Read the reviews anc you will see the commonality in issues with Thor RV’s
