Overall, very good experience after all understanding all the ins and outs of the Motorhome. There was a notable positive step change in quality and finish in the 2022 Hurricane 34J, with improvements in the styling of the coach, newer headlight design and arrangement and especially with the new F53 chassis with the 7.3L Godzilla engine. This is night an day from the old coaches in both handling and power. No more redlining to get into the powerband of the engine, which makes for a more leisurely drive. The interior is great with good finishes all around, nice materials used to withstand wear and the layout is a family dream. The overhead bunk along with mid coach bunk is amazing and makes the unit feel even bigger than a 36 ft unit. The full wall slide really opens up the interior and makes for a great living space. Use of slide locks is recommended as the slide is large and may move, but most slides should use them to avoid any movement. The new Thor quality is a testament to their commitment to improve reliability and should not be overlooked. I think Thor coaches are some of the best deals on the market today and are on their way to outshining their peers in both looks and reliability. Show less

I have owned several different makes of RV’s from a Coachmen tent trailer, Aljo 26 travel trailer, 35 Alfa Gold 5th wheel and a 30 Holiday Rambler Alumiscape. All of them had varying degrees of accessories and amenities and all were great Rv’s. I then got into the Class B segment by buying a Roadtrek and while it was great for getting into tight places, it just lacked the comfort of a real RV. By that I am mainly referring to the lack of a large king size bed and a bathroom I could turn around in without knocking things down. I then started looking at the Mercedes-Benz line of Class C’s that Thor was putting out. I had looked over several of the competing models but only to find lesser quality of builds or a price so high, it should have had a picket fence attached. The Synergy was a great blend of it all and yet still had that easy to maneuver sizing and ample interior room. The struggle with any RV is storage space, the Synergy had great space thanks to a large pass through in the very back that could accommodate large items without have in to keep them inside the living space. Great features like Bluetooth connectivity to operate the awning, room slide out and start the generator were all amazing things to have and came in quite handy more than I thought. The Mercedes-Benz drivetrain has been a treat and very solid. Gas mileage has also been great averaging around 14 MPG! These are not your grandparents old motorhomes, they are new and fresh and give you that freedom to go out and explore and not have to worry about parking a bus while getting fuel or groceries! The size of our Vegas 24.1 is perfect for parking in metro areas, running errands then slipping back into the camp ground; easy to drive, it handles like a Suburban. The Ford chassis is awesome: the 6.8L V-10 engine pulls like a locomotive! Six speeds allow a gear for every hilly situation without over-revving or bogging the engine. Smaller, lighter weight class A on a proven chassis with great towing capabilities, and a low center of gravity for SUV-like handling, makes for an attractive package. Heated tanks allow easy 3 season use. Rear and side mirror cameras are great! Fold-down laptop space for the passenger is awesome! Wish every RV had it! Perfect size between teenie Class B and a 48-foot bus and handles better than a Class C ever could. The 24.1 is a great model because you can access the king-size bed on the road anytime without having to stop and extend a slide. Doors on the bathroom effectively double the size of the area when open and allow privacy, front and rear. Huge panoramic windshield, great swivel captain chairs up front, perfect drop down bed and couch that together sleeps 3 additional people. Outdoor entertainment system, outside shower, 3 burner stove, convection oven, microwave, great sleep area for master room! Plenty of room inside and out for two, we would never need anything larger. We owned an older Class C before and disliked the overhang at the front and sides of the cab, limiting the view. Shower is nominal (27” x 27”) and so is kitchen sink. Headlights and fog lights are almost impossible to access and provide truly inferior illumination, even after replacing all the bulbs with high-end, high-watt LEDs. The tiny diameter of the lights is the problem; a perfect example of functionality being sacrificed for styling aesthetics. And changing them to anything else would take some major fabrication way beyond the average RVer’s capabilities. Thor’s quality control also leaves a lot to be desired: fresh water tank hole shavings plugged the screen at the water pump reducing shower and faucet pressures to a mere trickle, kitchen faucet hold-down ring broken, factory worker pistachio shells found under the master bed, under the kitchen sink and even in the engine compartment under the doghouse!!! Outside are decals that split and crack within the first year because Thor was too cheap to paint them on or use UV-resistant decal material and clear-coat them with UV-resistant clear-coat, kitchen cabinets that won’t stay shut around a corner because of misalignment of the catches, wallpaper in the bathroom) that peels up at the first shower (who puts wallpaper in a hot humid wet area???), etc. Thor mediocrity atop a truly exception chassis and drive train. To me, it was worth it, overall, and I would make the purchase again. But plan on spending a fair amount of time and money to correct the factory’s inferior quality control. Show less

We love this Thor Chateau 28z RV for the size, comfort, livability, traveling ease, and convenience. The North/South master bedroom fits perfectly for convenience and comfort. The floor plan works well for traveling, as well as, for camping. The indoor color scheme has a classic look and feel. The exterior color and design is refined, yet sporty. Campy. Storage compartments, interior and exterior, are unsurpassed for a motor coach this size. Show less

Class tion lawsuit against Thor and its defective window adhesive. Seeking interested parties. If you've lost a frameless windows while driving your Thor motor coach down the highway, this may interest you. Thor acknowledges the problem but refuses to take action unless the NTSB is involved. The NTSB is conducting an investigation. Show less

Purchased the Venetian because we fell in love with the floor plan of the G36. The RV has been very nice for my wife and I to travel in. However, I will NEVER buy another Thor product. The windows used are terrible and VERY expensive. My advice: Stay away from frameless windows! They look nice and are fine when they don't fall apart. Our bathroom egress window literally blew out as the adhesive used on the windows failed. Driving no faster than 65mph, a large tractor trailer passed us on the left and the suction/air turbulence pulled the glass completely off. Thor acknowledges there's an issue, but refuses to help pay for any repairs. Thor claims it's Lipperts responsibility, Lippert claims it's the responsibility of a company called HEHR, which Lippert owns. That one window was quoted to me by Thor as costing $2,184.72. That's just the window, doesn't include install. NTSB is aware of the windows failing on Thor motor Coaches and is in the process of determining a course of action. Show less

This Thor 2019 in built much better than prior year models. My ACE is the 32.1 floorplan with 2 full bathrooms. So it is only 33 feet long but it has 2 Full Showers inside, plus a 3rd shower outside, 2 porcelain Toilets, 3 sinks, Dual black and Dual Grey tanks, The larger 10 gallon water heater, A King Bed with 2 massive slideouts so it opens up huge inside with both opposed slides open. I drive about 10k miles per year in RV and in different ones. Things really good about this 32.1 are the Sturdy 20500 pound rated chassis, The 8000 pound tow hitch, and the quiet Generator 5500 watt. The issues to watch out for are Keep all the windows closed when stored or you may get damage to the upholstery. Drain the water system and winterize before storage if it freezing temp are expected to prevent damage to water equipment that could freeze during winter storage. and Last Inspect the roof every year to make sure the roof vents and LAP sealants are secure so that no water gets in. Also Check the Tire pressure each month that you use the rv AND set the pressure to what it says on the inside label next to the drivers seat. Don't forget this and the cover the tires during storage and the tires might last up to 15 years. Show less

Purchase this RV 6 months ago, we have been visiting Lazy Days in Knoxville a least 5 or 6 times due to quality issues, water heater breaking, toilet issues and other sort of issues since we purchased the RV. We purchased the unit from Lazy Days and they give us the impression that we are the problem.. A 100k investment should not have these kinds of issues so soon. We have not utilized this unit at a full capacity yet and we are drowning in issues without assistance from Lazt Days or Thor warranty department at all. I would not recommend anyone purchase an RV from Thor or Lazy Days. Customer Service is horrible. Show less

This coach/motorhome had been great. It has been very dependable. Some people may of had an issue with theirs, blaming Thor. Thor uses the same products as other RV Companies. When we had a minor issue, we called that company brand to get resolved. Show less
