Heartland Prowler Lynx 30 LX 30LX reviews

I bought a 2019 Heartland Prowler Lynx 30 travel trailer a few months ago. We have literally lived in this thing for 2 months while we build a house and I have already had to replace the thermostat twice. Additionally, water leaks around the toilet when you flush it, the trim that separates the sofa from the dining table is coming apart, and as of 2 days ago, the furnace stopped working. So let me move on to Heartland's excellent customer service (sarcasm). When I encountered the first problem (thermostat), I was informed that the warranty requires that I bring the RV back to the dealer, which is 120 miles from where I live. As stated earlier, I'm living in the RV while I build, so I've already set this thing up on jacks and installed plywood around the bottom for the winter. Not to mention, I had to have it delivered because I didn't have anything to pull it with. Therefore, taking it back wasn't an option. Besides, I'd be out more money doing that than if I replaced the thermostat. In Heartland's defense, in this one instance, they decided to mail me a replacement thermostat for free, instead of requiring me bring the RV to them. I installed it and same problem; the settings jump around like crazy. Incidentally, this particular thermostat has HORRIBLE reviews on Amazon. I finally managed to get the setting on the 2nd thermostat to stay put. You just can't adjust it or it goes crazy. I called Heartland and they couldn't recommend any other thermostats I could get as an alternative. Seriously? So I'm stuck either paying an electrician to come fix it or spend about the same amount of money, if not more, having it hauled 120 miles? I won't even get into the other problems, as they have not been resolved either. I thought buying a new RV and reselling after I built my home would be preferable to renting, WRONG ! Plus, I thought we may want to keep it afterwards and maybe go camping occasionally. Ummm, I don't think so. This piece of trash is most likely to leave me stranded or blow up and night in my sleep. This is my 1st RV experience and it will be the LAST ! Heartland has left a lasting bad impression on this first time RV'er. I would recommend this product to anyone ! Show less

We bought our trailer to make memories of adventure with our young daughter. She loved the back room, having bunk beds and space to play when taking a break from outside. We had guests utilize the dining table conversion bed and they raved about the comfort. We had a guest utilize the sofa conversion bed and he was very satisfied as well. Our kitchen area felt spacious with ample cabinet and storage space. The color scheme and patterns are easy to decorate with and provide a luxury feel to camping. My husband had no issues with towing or maneuvering with the trailer in his Ram 1500. We experienced excellent water pressure, air conditioning and all around comfort. Show less

I am very unhappy with my purchase..... lots of troubles with leaks...dealer refuse to help ....heartland not helping either ...always a run around ..... where’s the customer service when you need them Show less

We were looking for a quad bunk unit. We really liked the 32 lx but the bunks were too small. We traded in and got a great trade value for our old coachman. The new trailer has had no major issues since we bought it. The led light bar above the slide out broke off. The trim that covers the screws along the outside of the trailer cracked (it is a thin piece of plastic). The only other issue we've had so far was the antennae booster failed. Our local dealer in Canton had our trailer for 4 days and repaired everything back to brand new! We've had the trailer for over a year and we're looking forward to many more adventures! Show less

Fell in love with it from the moment we saw it on our dealers lot. The open concept layout with the slide gives us a lot of room. The bunk house design is awesome when we have grandchildren for weekend trips. Master bedroom has a door on both sides for ease of getting into the bed. Just an awesome layout and package for the money. We looked at the 32' version with the outside kitchen it is awesome and I wish we could have got that feature with the LX30, however it was not at all a deal breaker we are 5 star satisfied with our purchase. We purchased this unit from Atwood Trailer Services in Mineral City Ohio and as usual Del the owner dealt with us personally we got a great trade in value for our old travel trailer, an awesome price on the new one, and his customer service is second to none. Love my Prowler Lynx. Roomy with the 14 ft. slide. All kinds of room and storage. All seems to be assembled with good craftsmenship. I look forward to upgrading in the future. Heartland will be my manufacturer of choice. Dealership personnel and knowledge was also a deciding factor. All go hand in hand with a good product. Albert G. Boyle Jr. Show less
