Heartland Pioneer BH270 reviews

I went into camping world, before I knew better, I picked out a fantastic camper to fit my needs as a disabled person and so I could live in while furthering my education. I didn’t need much space as it was only me and I needed to be mobile. Well the camper was silvered at night, I had been at camping world all day long with a total of 6 hours driving. I looked at many campers and I know the inside but not sure of the brand but it’s written down on my papers. Anyway that wasn’t the camper I paid for because I was charged for it and not the price of the pioneer be 70. Not to mention over the next couple months, the camper to fall apart and I mean that literally, the shower fell in on me knocking me out of the shower my right shoulder again, which is already a replacement. There is the stress fracture under the sink. nothing seem to work and everything seemed to be going completely wrong. It’s put together very cheaply. The laminate is peeling off the cabinets. Camper has flooded several times due to the seal on the slide being ripped when it was coming in. Camping world sent a third part they fix it, it was pieced together. Of course it’s gonna continue to leak as it did. The sensors on the tanks have never worked. The locks never worked. I’ve replaced them several times. The Camper is literally a lemon. And it’s not what I ordered so I guess this is a review of Camping World and this camper and there’s so much more I’m not even mentioning because this is so unreal. You’re not buy this camper. And do not buy anything from heartland. You will not get a response from them much less any help when it’s all manufacturer stuff as far as Camping World goes. They are downright rude. Loved the camper at first but Don’t buy one of these bought one brand new from camping world and the front of roof starting to bubble up camping world nor heartland will do anything about it should’ve known not to buy anything that was built during Covid Show less

We purchased this camper to replace a 2016 Avenger. Wow, are we disappointed! Immediate cosmetic issues that are only warranteed for 90 days (not told to us by dealership). Extremely small tanks which must be dumped daily. Unaccessable storage. Final straw...we believe it has absolutely no insulation. It is freezing in the winter and the ac cannot keep up in the summer. Even though we have multiple fans going all day and spray the camper down with water. Buyer beware! Cannot wait to trade it in. Show less

i wish i had read the reviews first i live in my trailer. The hot water heater leaks.still trying to get it fixed by camping world.they say there waiting on approval from heartland. All the cabinetry under the sink needs replaced because of the leak. The roof leaks also.rite on my head when im sleeping i sent email to heartland a week ago.no reply i do not recommend heartland products.the craftmanship,is lousy to say the best. Cheap quality products used i construction, I could go on and on about all the little stuff I've had to fix myself..i am also not thrilled with the service dept at camping world.in wood village oregon.dont return calls.no followup as to whats going on with my trailler issues.just blow me off with were waiting on manufacture approval Show less

2021 Pioneer BH 322. Luckily for me, my water pump began failing when the trailer was less than a few months in my possession but have no fear, Heartland sent me out a cheap check valve with the wrong connections so I couldn't fix it anyway. The lucky part is that the lettuce washer from McDonalds that installed the hot water heater piping used a flex hose that has an inner diameter too big for the barbed fittings and him being the lettuce washer, doesn't know what teflon tape is. The result is too small leaks which I caught before they could do any real damage. Show less

OURS WAS THE SS171 BUT THERE WAS NOTHING FOR DROP DOWN I LOVEEEEEE the floor layout it is perfect for our needs. THIS IS THE ONLY Postive thing about this trailer. The quality of it was as someone just slapped it together without care. The sealing was super bad, the foam that was used for the holes were completely not even covered, we had to recover it. All trim was half ass on and my hubby had to renail all of the trim with the nail gun. FIRST USE was GREAT! SECOND USE forget it! Toilet backed up could not empty it, the faucet in the kitchen leaking The slide out refused to go back in and it broke the corner trim We are DONE with this brand. We called Good sams for the repairing and due to it being sunday we would have had to pay $189 per hour plus they had 2 hr minimum!!!! WHAT THE HELL! We paid for a second night at the campground to deal with the issue with camping world to see if they will help rectify with this issue! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMPER AT ALL COSTS! THEY ARE WORSE THAN COLEMAN! I HAVE PHOTOS FOR PROOF! I am livid that we had soo many issues the second time taking it out in less than a month of owning it., Show less

Will never buy another pioneer camper again bought a brand new 2022 and have had nothing but problems there’s a leak on top of the camper running down inside all over my floor the battery ground screw come undone wasn’t the right screw, the cover to the back of the refrigerator blew off never been touched and we had to pay over $600 for camping world to clean the camper and they hardly touched it can’t get any money back can’t hardly get them to send us the piece for the back of the refrigerator for free and then the waterlines underneath the sink or loose dripped antifreeze all over! trim around the door frame was loose and had to be stapled down again the list goes on! Bought my pioneer brand new June 2021 . On the tow home the wall in the bedroom caved in, then used it for 3 days the water heater and bathtub leaked inside and ruined all the particle board in the living areas waited until November for the warranty to be approved. We are now in March 2022 and it still hasn't been fixed. $30,000.00 piece of junk. Yes, and the mattress is terrible Show less

Bought my travel trailer brand new and got every warranty they offered not even 2 months of owning it and using it once the trailer started falling apart very cheap material and have had nothing but problems with it and roof started leaking so i took it in and heartland instantly denied the repairs claiming poor maintenance i didnt even own it 5 months i highly suggest stay clear of all heartland rvs and dont buy the warrenty they wont honor it just extra money in there pocket Show less

We bought our first travel trailer. Its a 2021 Heartland Pioneer. I had immediate problems with the Air conditioner and we found a roof leak. I took it in to Gander Rv and it has been 8 week and i still have not got it back. I do not recommend this trailer nor Gander RV!! Show less
