We love our 24J. Super reliable Mercedes chassis and very reliable interior as well. We had a service warranty and barely used it over the years. It has the ideal layout with tons of storage space, useful kitchen and comfortable beds. The interior is very manageable even with the slide out stowed. We have crossed the country twice and the last trip was for four months. We had one minor issue on the four month trip that was fixed in an hour. We have zero complaints.

After a wonderful experience owning a 2006 View, I bought a 2018 View new at a dealership. Overall, it has been a good RV. It enables great adventures in the outdoors, all over the US. But reliability has been Good, Bad and Ugly. THE GOOD: Mercedes makes a workhorse chassis that is designed to go for years, and get good mileage (14mpg). Winnebago makes a class C that is packed with features and all the comforts of home. THE BAD: Here's what failed in the last 5 years: DEF tank sensor, propane regulator, powered skylight, coach stereo, rear camera, chassis battery, attachment of the front cap to the body, both AM/FM antennas, door deadbolt. THE UGLY: Here's what failed in the very FIRST year: roof A/C compressor, refrigerator thermostat, bathroom fan, house batteries, chassis battery, rooftop solar panels, house grounding wire, Whew. Luckily I kinda like the challenge of fixing things myself, with YouTube's help. RV service centers are inconvenient, slow, expensive and rarely competent. If things keep breaking, I will need to get something else.

We purchased this 2019 new from a dealer. All house batteries went bad within first month. After minor use, door to camper not working properly. Latch to hood broke right away. Inverter didn’t work, had to pay to fix. The display totally gave up, but manufacturer paid for, but we had to cover labor. Refrigerator gave up and looks like it’s the thermostat that’s bad. Everything that went bad, Winnebago said we’d have to go through the manufacturer’s warranty. The only one that covered anything, was the display maker. This would have cost us 2,500 more if it had been 1 month later. All in all, Winnebago has done nothing for us, and will not be a return customer.

Living area comfortable I liked in this for six months and had no issues with another person and two french bulldogs.

Time to upgrade because we I love this RV and have had a BLAST with it. So easy to operate and travel with. We are trying up upgrade to a bigger one due to increase in family events. The View was our 1st RV and we did our research to buy the best. Now to get the same but bigger. With all the same upgraded features. Drives like a car and parking is super easy. We tow an enclosed trailer with all our toys in it and the Views pulls it great with no change in fuel milage. The onboard control panel with generator makes it easy to turn on and off, as well as heated water tanks so no worries it temperatures go down at night. Love watching TV as a passenger while on the road, makes the road trip seem shorter. Instant hot tankless water is awesome on this unit, always have steaming hot water. Love that the refrigerator can run off electrical, LP, or batteries (food is always sure to be cold). plenty of storage for clothing and personal items.
