We have owned a Jayco eagle 338rets for 5 years now and the functionality has been good for the most part with only a few minor problems early on such as poor quality cabinetry as we have had multiple cabinet doors fall off from poor hinges or poor material they are fastened into. That being said we enjoyed many things like the layout,king size bed,and fireplace.The big problems though in the last couple of years have been one of the three slide-outs leaks every time it rains so we have to pull it in every time there is bad weather as we are a long distance to a dealership for repair.Jayco also had a defective batch of paint on this model and the front cap area is totally faded out and looks terrible,it happened after the 2 year factory warranty and even though we had purchased an additional 5 year warranty Jayco would not do anything to help the situation and the customer service department was extremely rude and could care less about the customer.just recently we spent a night in the rv and had to leave for a day.Upon return we were greeted to water all over the floor,the problem was a faulty toilet that Kept running and flowed over. I had to bring the rv back to the dealer for repair and in inquiring about our extended warranty and if it would be covered the response was only the defective part. My advice is that from my experience with Jayco they have some great features but from a customer service aspect I would not recommend this brand to anyone and especially not to waste your hard earned money on their extended warranty as i have found it totally worthless if you decide to purchase this brand.Also just a reminder as I learned the hard way always turn your water off if you are connected to a city water supply or well water supply with a pressure pump it could save a large disaster like the one I had. This trailers weather shield is a very poor system. Window design is bad. They do not close and seal. The insulation is insufficient. At 90 degrees outdoor temp the a/c runs continually, without pause. Needs better insulation and a better air conditioner Show less

The bathroom door would not shut. The wall was loose. The living room shades broke as did the kitchen ones. The kitchen floor peeled up. This was a 2015 we bought new. Had to get cap on front repainted at manufacturers cost. The shades were made of paper. Very cheaply put together. Show less

This 5th wheel is easy to pull and with the various accessories it makes for a great camping experience! Very comfortable seating, love the double fridge, and the large bathroom are great additions to the layout! Also, the auto leveling system even makes hooking up a breeze as it leaves the kingpin at the exact location as it was when the unit was unhooked! Show less

A well built and well designed 5th wheel. Nice quality, plenty of storage, all the amenities you would want. Great for full timing. Love the colors, the frameless windows, the huge refrigerator and the comfortable floor plan. One of the few RVs that comes with a good mattress. The electric fireplace is great, visually pleasing and very practical for heating the living area. The MORryde pin box smooths the ride. Show less

I gave the driving towing a 3 star because we never towed it. We had it on site in back of my fathers home and used it to visit him in his elder years. We had minor problem with the dinette needing support and was taken care of with no problem. Show less

We love our Jayco fifth wheel! We did a lot of research and walked through many different models. Jayco offered the best over all quality and customization. We have never had an issue with our fifth wheel and we use it more regularly than most. Plus we have kids :) It fits our large family comfortably. Show less

I purchased a 2015 Jayvo Eagle Premier a year into owner ship we took it in for water leaks from the Slide Out skylight and front cabinets. We were told the whole front cap of our travel trailer would have to be replaced , well after replacing the front cap Jayco refused to replace the propane cover so we ended up with the whole front cap looking new and the propane cover not matching. We ask to replace the propane cover but Jayco refused. We won’t be buying any Jayco Products anymore. I’ve purchased 4 Jayco products and was a loyal Jayco customer, but if Jayco treats there loyal customers like this, as I said no longer a Jayco customer Show less

This is the 3rd RV that we have purchased and by far, it has been the worst quality that we have ever seen. On the day of delivery, we found broken lights, the antennae were not caulked and the kitchen backsplash was “wavy”. The dealer repaired the lights and re-caulked the antennae. The dealer at the time did not have time to repair the backsplash. They stated that it probably was not secured correctly to the wall. Upon arriving home, we found that several of the electrical outlets did not work, resulting in our return trip to the dealer. Then on our very first camping trip the black tank started leaking, dumping sewage under the camper. We found out the fittings were not properly after taking it back to the dealer. Once the RV was returned to the dealer for them to secure the kitchen backsplash, we were told there was a leak and that part of the kitchen would need to be replaced. The leak was repaired and part of the kitchen was also replaced. The dealer also found that several areas of the camper did not have the proper weather stripping, which could result in additional leaks. Though out all this, we continued to notice a “strange” smell. We found out it was a major roof leak. The roof was not even attached to the front camp of the RV, water was flowing freely into the camper. This resulted in all the carpet and all the bedroom cabinets required replacement. Our refrigerator has never worked right and nobody can find out what’s wrong with it. That’s not to mention our auto leveling system works when it wants to. I will NEVER EVER purchase another Jayco product. Not even sure if I would take another Jayco product if it was given to me. Show less

Bought this when it was 2 years old. It is awful! Anything you can imagine is wrong with it. AC doesn't work properly, it leaks, freezer ices over, electric front jacks don't work properly, seals coming off shower, back bunk side piece is coming off, windows open then come off track. And this is just stuff that we have found out since we have owned 30 days. Customer service doesn't care about it. Will never suggest buying another Jayco again! Only thing we liked about it was the layout and outside kitchen area. Show less
