Tiffin Allegro BUS 37AP reviews

Nothing but trouble from day one first aqua hot didnt work so no hot water next front lg tv won’t hook to wireless router. They said probably a bad module to bring it in and they will tell me how much it will cost cost to fix it. Bankston can’t service it until the 18th almost a month after we purchased it. They supposedly do a pre check before the sale there is no way they could have missed these problems. I would like to park in front of Bankston and put a big lemon sign on it. If you do buy from Bankston do not expect service after the sale. I don’t know how much it is going to cost me to repair which should have worked when we bought it. They make a big show with red carpet etc and walk you around open all bays etc. I can open the bays but fixing problems isn’t really in my wheelhouse Show less

Excellent RV to travel in & experience the great outdoors. Roomy, comfortable and well appointed interior with quality cabinetry, and ample storage. Outdoor TV is fun to watch sports with friends. It’s easy to park & setup. Tows the Jeep easily. The electric fireplace is a favorite touch on cold mornings. The solar charger on roof and Central vac are great features! Show less

The TIFFIN 2018 was made before Covid and before TIFFIN was taken over by Thor. In 2018, TIFFIN was not rushing to push a lot of class a RVs off the assembly line. Tiffin service and commitment to the customer in our experience has been second to none. Every manufacturer has its good years and not-so-good years. Our 2018 Tiffin was one of the good ones for sure. The 2018 37AP Allegro Bus has the standard equipment that puts the glamour in “glamping” and has a multi layered and multi clearcoat paint job that is among the best in the business. It has been just the right size for us and it has independent front suspension-steering to “turn on a dime” and get us into campgrounds and camp sites that astonished onlookers. Yet long enough to “live” in very comfortably. When I’m ready to purchase our next RV, it will definitely be another Tiffin. Show less

I bought a 2023 Tiffin Phaeton 37' motorhome in February 2023 and it was the worst purchase of my lifetime. We gave it back to General RV and they sold it a few weeks ago November of 2023. It was in the shop continuously from the time we bought it except for the one trip we were able to take at the end of June for 10 days. After a few days we lost the hot water, air conditioning and heat and returned with a list of 15 more things that were wrong with it. Everything on the motorhome was sub-quality and I mean everything from the wood work in the interior to cargo doors that wouldn't open when the slide outs were open to trim and electrical/computer problems constantly. The washer and dryer had to be replaced, the dish washer, wood work had scratches and mis -alignment of panels and doors, the computer panels were constantly going out it was a terrible joke. Customer was slow to non-existent and went up the chain but never was able to talk to Bob Tiffin and General RV just want to piecemeal the repairs and get it out of here it has to go we'll be in touch. Bottom including the sales tax and the worthless warranties from General RV we lost an easy $100,000. Since Thor has bought which no-one told us when we bought it at the RV show in Salt Lake City from General RV the quality has totally gone to s..it. If it was a plane me and my wife would be dead. I would highly recommend not buying one and most of the reviews are misleading to say the least. Show less

Reliable RV! The floor plan was perfect for our travels. An automatic awning makes it very easy to mind it during rain or wind. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, electric stove, heated floors, 3 air conditioners, 4 TVs , kitchen style refrigerator. Many amenities to mention. Had many small problems in the first year mostly due to poor quality control and pre delivery inspection both from factory and dealership. Due to the very poor service at our dealership we had most of the problems taken care of at Red Bay. They were unable to fix an erratic problem with our power lift bed refusing to work occasionally and so I finally took care of the problem myself by wiring a separate switch connecting directly to a battery connection. I am presently working on repairing a Schwintek slide as well as trying to locate a faulty infloor heat sensor. I must say that Bob Tiffin and his staff have been good to me, even extending my warranty by one year. I will recommend Tiffin to anyone but the Dealership we purchased it from to no one. Show less

We had originally considered a 40' Phaeton but decided on the 37AP Allegro Bus because of the 450 HP engine. This bus drives like a sports car! It takes mountain switchbacks handles in traffic like no other motor home I've ever driven. The nice features like key-less entry, upgraded entry steps, heated floors, etc made feel like a home. My wife and I spent 6 months out of the year travelling all over the country in this motor home, towing a Ford F150 without any issues. She even felt comfortable driving it because it is so easy to handle. The size makes it acceptable in many parks where the larger tandem wheeled beasts aren't allowed. Another benefit of the 37AP. I would highly recommend it, especially the 2016 model (which had very few warranty issues over the 4+ years we've owned it). Show less

I have been RVing for 35 yrs. Have had Tiffins Bus,Pheaton and Open Road, Tiffin is the best buy you can make for the money.Mr. Tiffin and sons stand behind their product as do their dealers. Never had a bad experience with their people. Only problem I've ever had is waiting for service,they have so many on the road,but have a super service at Red Bay. Show less
