We have owned our 2017 Ventana Ellie since 2018. We are the second owners never had any major issues problems or concerns. The rig travels perfectly down the highway with select steer and the diesel mileage is very acceptable for a rig this size. I would recommend this rig other than a Covid rig which goes from 2020 and on. It seems like the quality went down when Covid came around and that’s why you’re seeing a lot of bad reviews if you are from those years but anything prior to Covid their exceptional rigs.

I've owned this model before and I must say it has more room inside than any other rv I've spent time in. Just open all four slides and there is more room than you will ever need in an RV It has all the basic luxurious of a large King Aire, Satellite, washer/dryer, large. refrigerator , King bed, eight kw generator and much more. It also has a 360hp Cummins diesel motor which has more than ample power to tow my Jeep Cherokee trailhawk. Its a perfect size RV because its roomy but still small enough to get into almost any state park. Another foot or two and they would not let you enter.

Terrific RV with “all” the amenities! I have been so impressed with the thoughtfulness put into the design of this coach, along with the technology compared to my fifth wheel trailer that I upgraded from The freightliner chassis drives like a dream, and you can easily cruise down the road at 75 miles an hour with one finger on the steering wheel Having a tag axle that you can lift off the ground, makes the turning radius very maneuverable

DON'T BUY A NEWMAR UNTIL THEY RESOLVE THEIR PARTS ISSUE! We were on the road to meet friends and family at a scheduled event. The "check engine" light came on and warnings sounded. We pulled over immediately to check the code and called Newmar service. The code was for a DEF tank sensor. The warranty expired the previous month. We stopped at the next possible service center (It was approximately 10am) we called to check availability of the part. I talked to Todd Larr. Todd said that they had the part in stock and it could be overnighted to me. I told him that we needed to do just that and that I would call him back as soon as it was verified by the service technician. Todd told me that it must be ordered by 2:30pm ET to make the deadline for overnight shipping. The technician verified the part and we called Todd back at 10:30am. It went to his voicemail. I reminded him (with my VIN) of the part, that we needed it overnight, gave him the name and address of the service center and told him to call me back for a credit card number. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I called him four more times. HE NEVER ANSWERED. I called the main number for parts. NO ONE ANSWERED OR EVER CALLED ME! Even though I started the process four hours before, we missed the deadline to have the part shipped overnight. We had to pack into our tow vehicle, leave our coach at the service center and continue on our trip to the scheduled event. We had to rent accommodations costing us many hundreds of dollars and we didn't have our Newmar coach. All because Todd chose not to answer his phone, chose not call me back AND chose to go home for the day without making any effort to help us. When discussing with the service center what happened with the part, one of the employees said "See, it's not just me! Did you talk to Todd?" The employee was their parts ordering guy. Todd is apparently famous for this behavior. Todd needs to go!!

This is an update to an earlier review after one trip since we have a season under your belts. Your review actually increased with more use. Yes, we have had a few small issues that have been taken care of by the dealer and Newmar. One issue was the Girard awning on the day of purchase we were told the awning was damaged and a new roller tube need to be ordered. Well, 4 different deliveries of the new roller tube from Girard all arrived damaged. Newmar parts took matters into their own hands and had a new tube sent to them then built a custom shipping create and sent to the dealer and it arrived in perfect condition and was installed in no time. We have had a great 2023 season and am absolutely impressed with Newmar Corp and the quality of their products. Newmar is a class operation and build a quality product. We love our 3407.

We have been long, long time campers. My first trip was with my family when I was 11 from Chicago to the World's Fair in Seattle in 1964. Never turned back from there. Pop ups, trailers up to 38 feet, Class C Motorhome. When we decided to move up to a Class A coach, we did a lot of research. We got down to Newmar and Tiffin. The Newmar floor plans and innovations sold us on them. Then we settled in on the floorplan that worked best for us, the 3412. We chose it for the length: It was large enough to have all the amenities we wanted and short enough to get into almost all state and national park campgrounds. We chose the 3412 floorplan because it included a queen sofa sleeper and a super comfortable recliner, both of which face the 50" televator TV. We also wanted a four person booth dinette to accommodate guests. We bought our 2020 Ventana 3412 in June of 2020. It was built in the Newmar plant in Nappanee in May 2020. We had been looking for the longest time for a used 3412 without success. Our dealer in Orlando, Independence RV had three new Ventana coaches in stock so we went to have a look. We fell in love with our Chateau decor Ventana. We had the normal little things that needed adjustment. Independence RV did a great job of getting things fixed. There was a recall on the vent windows delaminating and we got two with the problem fixed in Denver while traveling and two others back in Orlando when we finished our trip. We traveled in the Ventana for three of the six months we owned it in 2020 during Covid. It was really easy to find campsites wherever we went. Our 2021 trip was over seven months and we covered a lot of the mid section of the country. Booking campsites was a little harder this time. In 2022 we did two three month trips up the east coast as far as Philly on one. Then went up the east central US for the second. The coach is a delight. It drives like a dream. The panoramic vista through the front windshield is absolutely spectacular. And because it is a diesel pusher, it is super, super quiet. Only wind noise on the windshield. It is a perfect coach for two people-it feels like home or at least like a Residence Inn. Our coach has all the bells and whistles- all electric with Oasis Hydronic heating for the water, the floors and a furnace for when the temp drops below 40 degrees. Induction cooktop, dishwasher, a convection microwave, washer and dryer, a safe. The Whirlpool residential electric refrigerator/freezer has It has Newmar's Comfort Drive Steering system that is adjustable so you get just the right amount of "feel" you need based on your driving situation. It even has hot water in the front generator compartment that really makes a difference when you are trying to get the day's crop of bugs off the windshield and front cap. As we were considering the coach, my wife insisted she did not want a washer and dryer. After our first trip, she realized she couldn't live without it. Honestly, we use the dishwasher to store wine most of the time. The shower has a WaterMiser system that circulates the water from the water tank through the on demand Oasis system in a loop. There is an indicator button just below the shower control handle that changes color to let you know that the hot water is at the shower. Saves precious water when you are running from your fresh tank and don't want to needlessly fill the grey tank. This is a top quality motor coach. There are even courtesy lights along the floor path from the master bedroom to the bathroom for those late night trips. This is the perfect coach for two people. Fine to have two guests for short people. All the maintenance has been done by the dealer or by Freightliner Oasis dealers. It is up to date and ready for your next adventure!
