Fleetwood Terra LX reviews

Fleetwood makes a dependable RV with great engine life. This RV handles smoothly and turns easily. It has a comfortable, practical layout that makes good use of the space. The Ford engine and chassis are durable and long-lasting. The engine/chassis and house are both easily serviced by any shop (no exotic parts) and Fleetwood has great support. The basic maintenance is straightforward enough for any diy-er. Show less

This is our 2nd class A motorhome and we are amazed at the comfort of the drive and amazing quality and comfort of the interior. The bathtub is so handy for the young en's when you need to toss them in the tub for a few minutes at the end of a long camping day. We appreciate the bunkbeds so much. This is a fantastic RV, in the 30 ft size. The layout is fantastic. We love the bunks to house our kids and have a place where their toys, sleeping bags and their bags, etc. can stay and don't have to be packed up everytime we ramble. It's very spacious, with the slides out, it's like a small apartment. Hot water is piping hot, quickly, and the outdoor shower is perfect for kids, dogs, beaches, or campsite where you want to rinse off before coming into the rig. The thermostat works awesome and fires up at night as needed (when it gets cold). It's a modern rig, with very nice, quality touches. It holds up very well to a family of 5 traveling over extended periods of time. It's fabulous hooked up or stand-alone (dry camping). The Ford engine is very powerful and powers up hills with no problems. Cruises well at higher speeds. We use cruise control as well. I highly recommend the vehicle, we love it! Show less

It is very well laid out lots of room for a 32 foot. Plenty of Power with a 340 horse and fairly good mileage for the size of rig. Dual air conditioners plenty of cooling. Handles great with little sway and plenty of power. Love the bathroom and kitchen plenty of storage in the large pantry. Overall a magnificant coach 4 its size. Show less

I loved the spaciousness and the nice quality of the Terra SE. The optimal layout just can't be beat, very unique as it sleeps up to 10. Side bunks are fantastic for kids and their things. Very comfortable to drive. The hide a bed, fold out couch and sleeping area under booth diner table were also very convenient. The heating/cooling system and thermostat were fantastic and the propane/electric fridge runs for a while on the propane. Lots of modern amenities including automatic hydraulic jacks, rear and side view camera and Bluetooth and XM radio sound system including CD/DVD players. Lots of storage internally to the rig as well as external for surfboards, chairs, tents, strollers. We loved the outdoor shower and the hot water heater was very quick and got the water smoking hot quickly. We love the Terra for a 30ft RV, you just can't beat the configuration. This is a wonderful Class A motor home. Having the Workhorse 8.1L engine with the Allison transmission gave it plenty of power and a trouble free experience. This rig has all the benefits of the high end class A motorhomes with the lower price point of a gasoline rig. So much storage, always room for whatever you want to bring on your trip. Show less

Used for weekend runs with the family. Has some issues here and there, but over all was very reliable. V10 did a great job for a Gas, and improved as some miles got on the odometer. the twin Heat pumps did very well and we never had to engage the gas heat. AC's kept up in all but the most extreme heat. Did very well for my family. Show less

Nice starter RV, but a little more length would make room for more amenities. For a small family or a retired couple it is perfect. It is easy to drive and easy to park. The kitchen area is very convenient. Show less

What a great ride! Last summer, we had a day trip to the north shore of Lake Superior - nine adults fit comfortably. Plenty of room to play cards at the table while others took turns in the shot-gun seat! On another vacation, four adults and two children spent a week on the road and slept well with plenty of room. This is a great RV. Show less
