The Fleetwood Discovery 40G (Bunkhouse Model) is a fabulously spacious RV! Enough room for mom & dad plus up to 4 or 5 young ones. TONS of storage inside and out! You may find you'll have a tough time using up all the space. Easy to drive and to maneuver. Towing is a breeze! Easily tow the family minivan. Throw all of your seats down in the van and use your van to carry all of your bikes without losing precious cargo space under the Rig. Fantastic RV for families with kids. Still have access to the entire Rig even when it is fully closed. Show less

We have lived full time in our RV for 7 years and it has been one of the best experiences of our lives. We have all the amenities we need at our age over 65, that we would have in a sticks and bricks home only less expensive and more comfortable living. 4 TV’s, convenient kitchen with microwave and convection oven, plus gas oven, 3 burner stove. Nice size double door refrigerator, queen size sleep number bed, nice shower, washer dryer combo that works perfect and so convenient. We have had only minor problems with the coach easily repaired by myself. All chassis service was provided by an RV service center with reasonable cost. If I were to purchase again I would buy this model. Fleetwood has been extremely helpful providing model #’s and part #’s and information needed to maintain our motor home. Owners manuals and service manuals are provided for all components on the motor home. Show less

My wife and I own a 2019 38F and well fell in love with the floor plan, it is perfect for our needs. We previously owned a 2013 Fleetwood Excursion 35B and we out grew it once we became full timers. There's not a lot of wasted space in this coach and we've managed to make use of every available space. Now for the down side.... Getting access to the basement compartments can be tricky at times due to them being located directly underneath the slides, it's a tight fit for the front compartments just behind the front axels.. One of the T.V.'s went out after only two years, I know it happens...... The aqua-hot system failed once and we had it repaired. The Awning motor also broke and that too was repaired. The material on the captains chairs and the sofa could be better. Like any other coach people purchase you must expect some type of issues or repairs. We love our coach and have taken to 14 different States and currently have 20K miles on her. If I had to do it again I would still purchase this coach. The manufactures warranty is was only 12months I like it should be at least 2 years in my humble opinion. The reps were amazing at Fleetwood (REV Group) and were quite helpful every time we called them. I highly recommend that an extended warranty be purchased they are usually about 6k for a 4 to 5 year platinum coverage.. If you are new to the RV purchase world just remember this... IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU PURCHASE A MILLION DOLLAR COACH OR A 50K PULL BEHIND YOUR GOING TO HAVE ISSUE/BUGS. The quality control is almost non existent they pump them out and worry about warranty work later, this goes to any and all manufactures. Show less

Good solid coach. Never had any breakdowns, all we could hope for in a diesel pusher. Nice cabinets and a very comfortable floorplan. The diesel pulls up hills easily and the retarded makes downhill runs safe and easy. Show less

I love everything about this coach, it’s an excellent floor plan specially for full timers. The most I love is my food pantry it is a big one, the bar, the office section where I can have my lab top and printer. I feel like I am in a NY apartment their is nothing I miss from my house. This coach is wide 8x6 love it. Show less

Outstanding Coach. Very functional floor plan. Drives like a dream. Very powerful power plant. Avg 8.6 mpg. Fit and finish is amazing. Flat tows our Jeep Wrangler wit ease. Standard equipment is an upgrade on other RV makes. Show less

I really wanted to buy this RV and once I got it we didnt use it nearly as much as we thought we would so it sat around a lot. It also seemed like something was always breaking on it and to get it in for service is a nightmare as they are backed up for months. I would not likely ever buy another RV again. I'd for sure rent one in the future though. Show less

This awesome RV came in Handy when we had to move out of our house due to mold. It was supposed to be for a short while so with a 1 yo baby we figured it would be ok. Will we ended up staying in it for 12 months and boy I was glad I had this RV. As my son grew and moved more, he needed more room and it was spacious enough to make him feel at home with plenty of space to play and run around. Having a full residential fridge was perfect as we could stock it up and go off the grid for several days. We’ve been to amazing spots and never needed to leave except every few days to get more fresh water and empty the waste tanks. It was plenty of room for a family if 3 but it will definitely be plenty of room for a family of 6 or even more. Show less

Undoubtedly the WORST mechanical item I've ever purchased in my life. In 6 months of ownership: Incorrectly installed fuel filler pipes, incorrectly installed generator fuel lines, broken dishwasher (2x), failed refrigerator (1 month out of service), 2 recalls, incorrectly sealed roof that resulted in leak into back bunks and mold/mildew, where my children sleep, incorrectly seating living room slide, allowing for water intrusion, water/electric door would not stay shut while driving (torn calf muscle exiting coach to shut in traffic), screen door not sealing properly, washing machine that inadvertently works, bathroom shade broke on first use. When I both called and emailed to schedule a factory service to address all of the issues, I was never contacted back via either medium. I know I'm missing items, but this is off the top of my head. It has been in service approximately 40% of our ownership time, with a retail list of nearly $500K and a purchase price in the mid $300s, this is criminal. In what was supposed to be a once-in-a lifetime experience for my family and I as the pandemic set in, I had a chance to remove myself from the grind of managing multiple companies and spend quality time with my family, especially my special needs daughter, as they weren't in school. It's egregious that the entire industry gets away with the quality issues they do, but based on my experience, I would not buy a toaster put together by REV Group. It's nice to see their statements on driving shareholder value. Maybe consider reinvesting some of that shareholder value in building a product worthy of even half the cost you currently charge, make customer service and client satisfaction a priority and you might still be in business a decade from now. The industry has been gifted a golden opportunity to grow a whole new generation of RV'ers, and this is how they respond. My experience with my '19 Winnebago View was only slightly better than this. If I operated any of my businesses in this manner, or provided a product or service of this quality, I'd be bankrupt in no time. Buy a second/vacation home instead of spending the same money on a rolling lemon like I own. It would be comical if not so painful for my family. Show less

I just bought the LXE44B and am typing this from my first trip. While there are so many great features, I just have to report on four features that I hate. First and foremost (and this one is bewildering): when the slides are fully retracted and you are on the road . . . the air conditioning vents on the ceiling of the main salon are blocked! I kid you not. the slides retract and close up right over them. Not a single air conditioning vent is exposed. Our solution is to keep the bathroom door open while on the road and have at least that vent pumping cold air into the main salon. we cannot figure how this crazy design flaw went unnoticed. Second, the opening portal to fill the fuel tanks are not tilted. They are straight up and down (a sheer vertical face) . . . so you have to hold the pump nozzle the entire time you are filling up. You cannot just lock the nozzle in fueling mode and walk away as it will pop out. Third, there is no counter space on the side of the master bed. Just bed running to the window/wall. In my other motorhomes, there was at least 4 inches of side counter space next to the bed to place a phone, bottle of water, etc. Nothing here. Finally, there is zero level dash board area as it slopes away from the driver almost immediately. No room to place objects or mount things. Never had a motorhome that did not provide at least some convenience here. Anyway, just three irritating little design issues. The air-conditioning being the worse one. The unit drives like a dream. Handles beautifully. We really enjoy the floorplan. the digital screen interface with all the systems is wonderful. I feel this could have been an unmitigated homerun if not for those few design issues I just identified. seriously though, what the heck with the air-conditioning??? How can you design a coach without having cold air pumping into the main salon while on the road? We have to find solutions for something that should just work. Oh well. Show less
