We purchased our 192RBS new after visiting the RV show in Grand Rapids, MI. As empty nesters, we were after a comfortable couple's RV with lower maintenance and ease of use. The electric tongue jack, awning, and slide do most of the 'heavy lifting'. We loved our tiny home away from home. We appreciated having a dedicated bed and bathroom. The complete kitchen set up including a large sink and oven has been great as we cook for ourselves. The headroom is excellent in this relatively modest travel trailer. The bed is a standard 60x80 queen making it simple to purchase bedding. We did not want a microwave, but it was standard so we removed it and built in a custom redwood wine rack and placed a nice 110v lamp for nighttime ambiance. We needed to add a couple of shelves in the cabinets and beef up the support on others than sagged. Overall the fit and finish are good, but not perfect. I think for a trailer of this size and for two to three people the floorplan is hard to beat. I would recommend it to a friend.

Bought it in June of 2021. We love the fact that it's a true couples trailer. The layout is great for a small trailer. The fact that you don't have to jump over your spouse to get out of bed, as it has walk space on each side of the true queen sized bed is awesome. We added a 3 inch egg crate mattress on top of the crappy one that comes with it and find that it is very comforable now. The 3 burner stove with the small oven is nice as is the bathroom layout. The sofa could be more comfortable, so we purchased two foldable storage ottomens which we store under the bed when not in use. We've been on 4 trips and have had some issues, like everyother travel trailer owner. The worst: the side out leaked during a deluge and we had to close it to keep it from leaking more. We used a friends large dehumidifier to dry up the trailer walls and thankfully you cannot tell that it leaked. Also, on the lowest setting the refrigerator was feezing food. The sink leaked during a trip to Marianna Florida but were blessed to find a truck/RV repair place that was honest, worked on it two hours, having to make two trips from their location to a parts place and even so, they only charged us $100. As someone else stated the compartment doors over the couch never seem to close correctly and the place we purchased it from can't seem to fix it! Currently it is once again at the dealership getting repaired. They keep it for an average of three weeks every time you take it in and they want you to buy their lifetime warrenty for 400 dollars ( up from 300) every year. The service department gets 1 star! Our warrenty runs out in June unless we opt to buy another year, but so far from what they have serviced, we probably won't. It's a nice travel trailer, would be great if the manufacturer would care a little more to make it right. I would recommen this model because from all we researched prior to purchasing all trailers have issues because they slap them together to get them out fast and then charge a small fortune for them. Despite the let downs, we do love our little travel trailer.

Coachman Freedom Express UltraLite 248RBS not 192RBS We picked this TT over many others because of the layout.Large rear bath is awesome, horseshoe dinnet and sofa give the grandkids a place to sleep when they spend the night in the "camper". Outdoor kitchen was a must for me and the grandkids love to eat outside. There are a lot of neat things like the charging ports on the bedside tables and the couch. We travel with 3 dogs and the leash holder by the door is a cool touch, it also is a bottle opener! All the hook ups are on the back left side which makes it easier to hook up. There is more than ample storage inside and out. Pulls with ease behind my F-150 or the wife's Expedition. Cons: the mattress it came with was terrible! One night and it was gone.

I love the design of this small coach, the big front window, the slide out with the couch, the galley, and lots of storage. It pulls well by a mid-size truck, too. Appreciate the double axles. But the quality of construction has been a great disappointment. Also, the dealer service has been a disappointment. The first time it went in for warranty for multiple faucet leaks and a microwave problem where the microwave breaker tripped at running 1.30 minutes. Following trip out, and I found nothing had been fixed. Water leaked badly in the bath, swelling wood. It's was in over 3 weeks for repair. Now I find the compressor on the air conditioner doesn't work. The tires that came on it were reportedly unsafe, so I changed those out myself. Such is life with the latest travel trailers. A sad state of the industry. I cannot fully recommend this brand.

This is my first RV. I purchased it new, with COVID pricing late April 2021and was glad to have it. I tow it easily with my Volkswagen Touareg TDI. Due to having a male electrical adapter, I refer to this RV as a “he” and named him “little Herbie” or just Herbie. So, Herbie, my wife and I have gone on over 11 trips so far. Several lasting over 14 days. We have stayed at state parks, county parks, expensive/crowded private parks and even dry camped in norther WI. Herbie did not let us down. We have had no major issues, everything still works. Minor issues include: the red and white hoses under the kitchen sink keep leaking, the doors on the overhead compartments keep coming loose, cabinet latch mechanisms fall off, the tire under the front assembly had to be moved when the stabilizer bar was added (very irritating to lose the outside storage), it is not really solar ready, the mattress is terrible, there is no privacy shade on the door which is in front of the bathroom, the AC is so darn loud you can’t hear the TV or stereo, the sofa does not sleep 2 adults, maybe two toddlers, the bumper does not store a RhinoFlex sewer hose, it doesn’t fit, the bumper can’t have any thing added to it (e.g., bike rack, rack to hold sewer hose), and the Winegard is pretty expensive to get setup, and is just okay ‘to use daily. He only came with one battery… not cool. What I love about Herbie: he is so handsome, we get many compliments, all major components work, no leaks, no breakdowns, easy to clean, the ladder, the Azdel, no carpet, no vents in the floor, the sofa/dinette/my office very comfy for a few hours, dog friendly (Maltese and Schnauzer approved), I can cook/bake easily, ample indoor storage space, can tow with my SUV, AC keeps it cold in the summer, shower is tall and roomy, easy to clean, good storage under bed and in bathroom, porcelain toilet with leg room, nice decor. Fridge is big, everything is cold or frozen. Little pantry/entry closet is great for storage. So, as I head into Fall and Winter wish me luck. I love Herbie and we plan on growing old together. Hope to fix all the little issues that others tell me are pretty normal for RVs. If you are looking for a nice couples camper, consider this one as an option.

Thisis our 4th Travel Trailer and our 1st new one. I am not impressed, the quality is definitely not at the level I expected. It appears to have been just thrown together. The cabinet hardware was mounted using too short screws and pulled out upon opening, the panel at the end of the bed to the floor is 1/8 luan and will not stay attached to the frame. The shower is adequate but the floor is very flexible, it feels ready to break. The small details are shoddily done, the trim is not finished on the ends, the light cover over the bed falls off each time I turn it on, not enough storage on the inside, the outlets move when you plug in things to the point that it bows the luan, already had to have the USB ports on either side of the bed replaced, and to have indicator lights on everything is ridiculous, I don't need a bright blue light on all the time the water heater is on. So very disappointed in this brand new camper, already looking to trade.

We bought our first RV January 2020. First time having it out we were not able to run clean water into the black tank to rinse it out. Dealer found the hose was crimped. Also the air conditioner kept popping the circuit breaker sometimes in the RV and other times out at the electrical post. Dealer replaced the AC unit. New one was making a racket at time of pickup from repair. Took rig to Colorado. Shower leaked water that I fixed with silicon and the commode water line leaked. I fixed that also. I dropped off my RV at the dealer on way back from Colorado for warranty repairs. I have about 10 items on the list for repairs. I thought buying a Coachman would mean better quality. How wrong I was. These RV's are just thrown together with little quality control. The dealer has no skin in the game as far as repairs since they just rely on the warranty. Warranty repair takes forever to get approval and repaired. You better be good at doing repairs if you own an RV. They will charge you an arm and leg if your rig is not under warranty. Not sure if you can find any that are built with real quality. THe manufacturer and the dealer expect you to do the quality control which requires you to do all the work getting it back in for repairs. And it take weeks to get your unit repaired. I dropped my off and was told it would be in line for repairs for two weeks before they would lift a finger to do any repairs. This is reality in owning an RV. If you don't like working on RV's for have lots of cash for repairs don't bother buying one. That's my advice.
