Overall we're reasonably happy with it, when not swearing about an issue. Had it about a year and it's holding up so far, except for the issues below, some of which were pretty significant. Warranty service sucks; lots of foot dragging. I rather imagine they have a limited service budget and want to hold onto it. The shops around here don't want to take these because of the low hourly rate. Problems seen so far: - Daylight through the seal around the read hatch. That took a LONG time to get them to admit, then shuffle off to the door manufacturer who fixed it with a wider flange and bigger gasket. - Intermittent connection on the AC power inlet: originally thought it was the external connector, but when I finally took the trailer side apart, the black wire clamp screw was loose by 1-1/2 turns and had clearly not been tightened originally. This one was a bit of a FIRE HAZARD. - Hot water heater thermostat not working. - Leaking plumbing fittings, insufficiently tightened. - Misrouted hot and cold lines to the sink.

I had purchased a Riverwood travel trailer years ago and loved it. Recently purchased a 2022 Coachman toy hauler and for the price I paid I am very disappointed with the workmanship. Sewer tube is 28 inches long so had to purchase a new one that will actually carry a sewer tube. Under the sink the boards were so flimsy you couldn't put anything in there as storage. I had to put in supports. The cabinets are paper thin on the exterior with no shelving in the pantry. I added shelves. Just overall I would not recommend a Coachman/Riverwood trailer to anyone looking to purchase a trailer. I am willing to take responsibility for not doing enough due diligence. I made the mistake of thinking that they still built a quality trailer.

This unit was purchased brand new in October 2020. Since then it has been in the shop, or unusable by my family fully 35% of the time as one thing after another broke. The last straw was the complete failure of the brake assemblies on one axle after about 7000 miles usage. Both Coachmen and our dealer, (a national group), refused to acknowledge this was either a factory or dealer problem and it cost $2000 to repair. As time has passed, the responsiveness from both Coachmen and General RV has reached zero response. Don't buy Coachmen and don't buy from General RV

We purchased a 2018 Coachman Catalina Trailblazer. We had issues from day one with the battery dying. Had it in 3x and finally found a shirt in the wiring. They didn’t include the toy lock and had to fight to finally get it sent to us. We had a leak and getting the run around. Now we found that no adhesive was placed on the roof and Robert with Coachman/Forest River was very rude from the get go. He said since it is older it would not be covered even with a 10 year roof warranty. We would need proof that we had it inspected ever 90 days. We will never purchase another camper made by them.

Never owned a travel trailer before so there is a lot of unknowns and we hope that all are the unknowns are good. I couldn't give 5 stars across the board since we haven't been able to experience several of the things listed to be rated. However if all goes as well as the service we got at camping world I'm sure I'll be able to easily rate everything with 5 stars Thanks again to Wendi and Thomas.

A pinata is built sturdier than this camper. It took over a month to get the camper after we bought it at an RV show because the track for the bed and dining benches was broken, then incorrectly repaired which broke it further. It was a hassle getting it fixed cause everyone pointed the finger at everyone else until my husband started cc'ing then all on every email. Once we received it we had to replace the main overhead light fixture cause it fell off the ceiling. Then we had to get a replacement track for one of the drawers. All of the trim is peeling off the walls. Every little bump leaves a dent showing the thick cardboard that is made to look like wood. The stove hood is falling off because the "cardboard" can't support the screws. And tomorrow we have to take it to an RV dealer to check the water pump as it sounds increasingly like a jack hammer. We have had this camper for six months and wonder if we'll be able to get back from California to Ohio with more than a frame. :'(
