The floorplan lives so much larger than you’d expect. Flow, storage, lounge space and sleeping area. Airstream wins. Especially when no slide is involved. You really don’t miss anything. Well built, we have been pleased with the quality. Light and bright, the abundance of windows are fantastic. We really pay attention when booking campsites now because the windows take in exceptional views especially at the right sites. We opted for rain bed plan which is great! Extra floor space to get ready in, for the dog bed, and easier access to storage under the beds. Also nice to have separate beds if traveling with a friend or a kid etc.

I love my Airstream. We purchased in 2016 from the Seattle Airstream dealer and immediately travelled to Utah. It towed easily and was easy to handle. We decided immediately to make some changes internally and took it to Ultimate Airstream in Portland to re-do the kitchen and eating g area. We installed their "Grand Lounge" design and included a washing machine in the upgrade. In 2018, we purchased land to build a house and started living in the airstream full time for 18 months while it was being built. It was a pleasure to live in and at one stage, my wife broke her pelvis and so we even had to use a wheelchair in the Airstream to move her around. Very adaptable.

We have owned 5 RVs over the years and this is hands down the best RV we have had. Airstreams are known for quality and it shows. Everything is will designed and well made. The windows are amazing allowing for great views and excellent airflow. Towing is on a completely different level than other trailers OR 5th wheels. Airstreams are low and don't catch the wind. The suspension is a torsion axel that is far better than the traditional leaf spring you get in most RVs. I recommend a 3/4ton for towing though we did initially pull this with a 1/2 ton and were able to manage well. Having the solar upgrade has been very nice. I rarely if ever even need to plug in. This is especially true after the lithium battery upgrade. We have yet to come close to using up all the batteries when camping. Almost everything is able to be monitored through phone apps from outside the RV. We have used this rig both at RV parks and boondocking and have loved it.

Looking for something a bit lighter and easier to tow with our Dodge Durango SUV we traded our older Airstream 27 FB for a smaller, newer 2019 23 FB. We were pleasantly surprised to find it had basically the same features as the larger trailer packed into a smaller package. My wife complained at first that the dinette seemed a bit cramped, but we quickly resolved that issue by making thinner back cushions for the dinette. We were also happy with the quality of the new trailer and the noticeable upgrades from the older models. Dimmable LED lighting throughout and a multi-stage battery charger that will not overcharge when left connected. We have not had a single mechanical issue in over two years of ownership while logging some 12,000 miles. No doubt a bit small for permanent living, but perfect for the 1-2 week adventures that we've taken. The ducted AC is great and the furnace has kept us (and the tanks) warm down to 22° overnight temps. This 4,800-lb, 8-ft wide trailer tows excellently behind our Durango, we can cruise at 70 mpg (while getting about 14 mpg). We really didn't want a pickup truck just for towing, the Durango makes a good all-around second car for us.

First, let me begin with my list of problems, which started on day one. 1. Zinc screws on roof rusted within weeks. 2. Axles out of line 3. Radiused windows leaked badly, causing black stains on floor covering, that does not come out. Brought to Airstream's attention on month 14, but problem had been going on for months, still within the warranty. Airstream's response was I had discovered it outside the warranty and told me to reseal all the windows. 4. The piano hinge on bath door sagged considerably, due to insufficient screws, causing the misalignment of the handle, locking a person inside. 5. To all the drawer slides, I have added additional screws, as they came loose within a few weeks. 6. Two of the plastic U trims that cover the top and sides that butt up to the walls of the cabinetry slid down behind the cabinets, and disappeared. Very very difficult to fix. Had to remove the cabinets. All it needed was some kind of adhesive or fastener when installed, to prevent this. 7. The two radius doors under the sink in my model were way too much weight for the hinges. Replaced several, eight, over time, at my own expense (Airstream sent me two), plus added an additional hinge to each door. After a while, I just removed the doors to travel. Finally, I removed the hinges and installed piano hinges to solve the problem. ALL these problems were discovered well within the first two years. Airstream did nothing, not willing to work with me and borderline nasty about "no longer under warrantee". After owning a Keystone Cougar 24' fifth wheel for several years, loving it, no problems, we decided to go for it and move on to an Airstream Flying Cloud. The reputation it has had needs to be amended as it has been a nightmare: one problem after another. The sharp appearance wore off quickly.

We bought our Airstream from an Airstream dealer in NC in early 2020. We were the second owners. The original sale was in July 2018. Right after our purchase, COVID hit, so we were unable to take a trip until 2 weeks ago. Our first week was great. This second week, the air conditioner went out on Tuesday and the refrigerator went out today. We called Airstream, and we were told that although the warranty is 3 years, because we were the 2nd owners, the warranty does NOT transfer!! How can that be??? Beware used Airstream buyers!!!!!

We took two kids on a weekend trip and it worked well for us. I can't say anything bad about it! It is our first RV. The instructional videos from Airstream were helpful. Airstream is the best company, good quality and so many things in the design that made it easy for us to take our first trip with zero hitches.

Bought the Globetrotter to use on the West Coast, we have an International Serenity 23FB here on the East Coast. We particularly like the wrap around windows on the front and the back of the Globetrotter, although I do prefer the bathroom in the 23FB. Very happy with the Globetrotter. While in storage in LA it was hit and dented by some 45' class A parked next to us. Airstream LA had it as good as new in 3 days to the tune of $10,200 (funny, my daughters trailer cost about the same as fixing a dent in my Airstream). If you can afford it, buy an Airstream. Note that Airstream is the only RV manufacturer with a nationwide dealer network with factory trained technicians. You don't have to bring it back to the guy you bought it from.
