Just letting you know that we call our 2023 Airstream Bambi 19cb trailer "Shiny Lemon" This is what I tell everyone I meet about Airstreams: I have a 2023 Airstream Bambi 19cb trailer that I bought new in October 2022. Almost every system in it has failed. Batteries went out at 10 months because of a faulty design in the WfCo 8955lis converter. I replaced the batteries and converter at my own expense as I had a trip planned for a month of travel in a few days and working with the dealer would have meant canceling the trip. The furnace failed multiple times for various reasons but several times just because a part called the sail switch failed. Cabinets fell off the wall on two occasions. Our Girard water heater started leaking at 2 years and two weeks. Parts warranty expired at 2 years. We chose to put in a Truma AquaGo Comfort water heater partly because people love them and I'm hopeful it will last longer than the 2 years our Girard water heater lasted. This was last week. Generally, the components now used by Thor (who owns Airstream) have been cost reduced and manufactured by conglomerate companies, like dometic, with quality suffering. We no longer recommend Airstream to anyone. Vitrifigo refrigerators replaced by Isotherm. If you are unfortunate and have a Vitrafrigo refrigerator, immediately purchase a temperature monitor so that you can log the temperature over time. Refrigerators need to keep the temperature below 40 F and mine couldn't do this in hot weather. You won't know unless you make the effort to find this out with a temperature logger. Vitrafrigo refrigerators only have a replacement warranty for 1 year so you need to find this within 12 months. Ours will be replaced next week as our dealer went from fixing the Vitrafrigos inability to stay cold to an inability to turn off when the correct temperature is reached. Even with the control knob rotated into the off position! This over the course of of many return visits from June to December! Just for the refrigerator! Lead batteries replaced by Battleborn. Also pricy. But worth it. Skip the Airstream. If you do buy an Airstream, try to get a precovid one. 2019 or earlier. If you follow my footsteps and buy new. Use it a lot for the first year. Bring it back to the dealer repeatedly to get things fixed. Repeatedly. Buy a temperature sensor that logs the temperature in your refrigerator. Get your refrigerator fixed if it can't keep the temperature below 40F. Most subsystem warrantees are only a year. Many things on the Airstream are only a month, such as the door not closing. Holes in the roof are not covered by warranty, at least the two holes in our roof were not covered about 18 months after purchase. Fantastic fan lids have a defect in that they fracture where they are screwed into the lid. I glued a wood block to address this as new lids are backordered because so many are breaking. Buy a 2019 or earlier, better yet, buy a Lance or some other brand not made by Thor. -Stephen Witte - Show less

DO NOT RECOMMEND AIRSTREAM or AIRSTREM RANGELINE. We purchased a new 2023 Airstream Rangeline in Feb 2023. The day of pick up, we noticed cabinets out of alignment, broken/missing items, unclean unit. We have been having issues with this unit since day one of pulling out of Blue Compass RV of Greensboro. On the first night- discovered a myriad of malfunctioning/dysfunction items, including electrical/ heating/water heating/battery charging/water tank & cabin temperature sensors/low glycol, water pump, overheated generator, MIRA app, and more. This unit has been in and out of service since purchase, and there solid since April 2024 for the same issues with heating, cooling, sensors, failed battery, leaking, electrical, and other things. In addition, there were a couple of mold infestation events while the vehicle was under the care of Blue Compass RV of Greensboro. There were multiple visits to the dealership and multiple failed camping attempts due to the unit malfunctioning. The last drop off was in April '24 was primarily due to the same heating, cooling, and electrical problems, cabinet misalignment, & collapse of a cabinet while driving, among others. Multiple issues were due to shoddy workmanship and poor-quality control. The heater didn't work in the winter and the AC didn't work in the summer. A few molds infestation incidences and roof leaking occurred during the service at Blue Compass of Greensboro. We asked for a replacement of a new working unit that does not have a history of mold issues and constant mechanical failures, or just give us a refund. Even though we purchased a new vehicle, neither Airstream nor Blue Compass RV is willing to step up and compensate us for our inconvenience, the loss of money/time/planned vacations. Rangeline is a hit and miss. Unfortunately, our unit was a miss with multiple signs of poor-quality control and engineering issues with having different software programs working together. PURCHASED: Feb’ 23 PICKED UP: March’ 23. DROPPED OFF FOR SERVICES: March, April, June, Sept, Nov of ’23, March ’24 twice, April ’24 and still there (now Sept 2023) – beyond Lemon Law. Show less

At this trim level there are few added options. We did add the Air Hub connector along with Lithium Batteries, charging controller and 300 W rigid solar panels. We retro fit several locks to improve security and added snap pads to the stabilizers. Ready to hit the road tomorrow! Towing with a standard pick up with tow package and no problems. Show less

The floorplan lives so much larger than you’d expect. Flow, storage, lounge space and sleeping area. Airstream wins. Especially when no slide is involved. You really don’t miss anything. Well built, we have been pleased with the quality. Light and bright, the abundance of windows are fantastic. We really pay attention when booking campsites now because the windows take in exceptional views especially at the right sites. We opted for rain bed plan which is great! Extra floor space to get ready in, for the dog bed, and easier access to storage under the beds. Also nice to have separate beds if traveling with a friend or a kid etc. Show less

We traded a 2021 Atlas for the 2023 to get the new E1 Volta power system thinking it would solve the many problems we had with the power systems on the 2121 which included a complete failure of all solar panels and a cost to us for emergency repairs if over $2,000. Airstream refused to pay for the repairs simply because we did not get prior authorization for repairs at a non-Airstream repair shop. Without those repairs we were dead and 300 miles from a Airstream dealer. We were so excited to get our 2023 and yet things started going wrong immediately! First the Volta system failed on our first day out and we had to return to the dealer for a complete replacement. After that we started encountering so many issues that it would be hard to enumerate here. After taking it to the Denver Airstream dealer where it sat for 2 months we were told everything was functioning properly. NOT! The AC system would not function even when on shore lower. The microwave and induction stove kept failing. To add insult to injury an electronic module in the Mercedes engine caused the transmission to fail. The vehicle had to be towed 250 miles to Salt Lake City. No that that repair is completed the vehicle is sitting at the Salt Lake Airstream dealer waiting for the Volta system to be repaired again. I am not confident they even have a tech that is qualified to work on the system. To be continued …. In the meantime, DON’t BUY ONE! Show less

I purchased a new Airstream Rangeline and was then told that the window close to the sink was not installed properly. Also, I was told that it was not Airstream's problem but Dodge Ram's. I can not believe that Airstream is living up to its reputation for quality. Airstream's warranty is useless. Show less

I've heard it said, buy your last RV first, meaning dont skimp on size. I didnt follow that advice and have owned a fith wheel and class A before purchasing an Aristream International 30RBQ. Its the perfect medium between towability and comfort. The build quality is exceptional. My only regret is I made my purchase from a dealer instead of a private seller. Show less
