Our previous class-b was a fantastic Great West Van and the Galleria 24FL floorplan was the closest to the GWV. We ordered our new van at a rv show and was told it would be 6-8 weeks. After an 8 month wait, it was delivered from the factory with numerous problems, including a burned out awning controller and missing bed cushion. After refusing delivery for a month, nothing was repaired, so we took delivery and had to fix all the problems ourselves. Nine months later, the Galleria was totaled due to an electrical fire in the 12-volt wiring cabinet while sitting in storage. Coachmen made promises to get us back on the road quickly but failed to fulfill any of their promises or compensate us on our losses.

We bought this this new in fall 2019 but were not able to take it out for about 8 months due to personal issues and then covid lockdown. Once the campgrounds opened up, we had a fabulous time camping out in Nat'l Forest Service and Park Service sites. Overall it has been a great RV. Some "buggy" problems with the Control Panel and electrical issues. Once a service recall for software was installed it was somewhat better--but still have some issues. Has a nice sound system and TV that we never use, also a nice awning that we've never used. We sleep with the back doors wide open to get lots of cool night air inside - it is great. Positives: -this unit has a huge bathroom for a Class B! Comfortable for a plus sized person -Large queen size bed is comfortable -A/C and heater work well -The induction stovetop unit is really great and super fast - (but it does eat a lot of power when "dry camping") -The solar panels are good, but do need full unimpeded access to full sun to charge (e.g. no trees). (When "dry camping" in the forest for several days, even in sunshine, the solar panels don't charge enough. Have to run the vehicle for an hour a day to recharge the unit [no generator]) -Nice amount of inside storage -large refrigerator (for a class B), and a separate freezer that semi- freezes the ice cream -Huge 30 gallon fresh water tank - we've never used it all, even when "dry camping" -The Ford Transit is super easy to drive, very comfortable seats -nice "mood lights" inside which are great for protecting night vision Negatives -Very little under carriage clearance - only 6 inches! This is because the huge fresh water tank hangs down underneath. makes it essentially unusable on any forest service road with potholes (which is pretty much all of them). Even have trouble accessing some NFS campgrounds with potholes - have to drive <5mph so as not to wipe out the tank. -The electrical control panel is still "buggy" -it goes out frequently (but is usually fixable with a system reset). -The lithium battery does not work in temps below freezing - the whole system shuts down-even when plugged in to shore power. At home in the winter it requires a heating pad on the lithium battery in order to keep it powered up so that RV can be kept minimally heated. -Tiny table 3' x 1' -- we never use it (eat off the kitchen counter instead) - only the passenger seat swivels, so for meals one of us sits in the passenger seat and one of us sitting on the bed.

Customer service was terrible! Good luck when something breaks on the RV. Our water pump broke, tried twice to get it fixed with no success. We were without water for 4 days (had RV for 13 days total), unable to wash hands, dishes or flush the toilet (!), and had two of our children with us. We were told "you could have used a water hose"...?!, unacceptable and RUDE! That's the whole point to rent an RV, for the convenience of your trip, so you don't have to pull over to the gas station if you or your child needs to use the bathroom, or you want to cook and wash dishes. Then only got a $165 discount. Also would NOT use their insurance as it has a $1K deductible. Caught a rock from a semi and there went $400. Also, they gave us at checkout a broken coax cable and leaking water hose. I would NEVER rent from them again and will tell everyone who wants to rent an RV to stay away from El Monte RV rentals in McKinney.

This rv drives like a dream when compared with a similar size rv on a Ford chassis that I have owned. Interior is very spartan, vinyl flooring, vinyl surfaces everywhere, and I love it, so much easier to keep clean than rvs I have owned with lots of plush fabric and carpet or wood floors, this is what you WANT in a vehicle that you take to the beach or the campground. Storage area is outstanding, tons of room, multiple bins in the garage each with their own drains. Love the wifi ranger and how simple it makes setting up camp (only connect one device not 5 or 6). Love entertaining outdoors with this rv because everything is set up for that. The only negative is that the bed is VERY high off the floor, so getting in out of it requires sufficient gymnastics that if you own this rv AND have a prostate problem, you are probably going to get divorced. Found the "dream dinette" to be not very comfortable so I put in twin recliners instead, which makes camping a far more relaxing experience. Overall, I felt like this offered more long term value for the dollar than other similarly sized Class Cs.

This is our first Class A RV. Needed something small for just 2 people. Easy to drive, easy to set up, especially because no slides. Huge basement storage. Quality of finishes are OK, but our "wallpaper" is now peeling off in the bathroom and shower, perhaps because of our excessive heat in the High Desert. Love the couch across from the TV, and the storage drawer under the couch. Love the separate toilet/sink area across the hall from the shower. The separation accordion door to the bathroom is wonky, so we installed a curtain from the wall with the fridge across to above the stove, for easier access for privacy in the shower, and also to block off the control panel lights, which are very bright at night. The mattress is low quality, but works well with a foam topper that we actually put UNDER the mattress. The wider bedroom closet has a lot of wasted horizontal space, so added some permanent shelving. The storage above the bed is difficult to access without crawling over the bed. Access to getting into bed on the right side is pretty tight, but all designed with the area available to supply a queen-short bed. In the kitchen, there is just one drawer, under the fridge, and the cabinet above needed shelving added. The under-sink cabinet needs a shelf also. Love the size of the fridge. We rarely fill it completely, and the freezer has more than enough room. Love the L-shaped kitchen, just enough room to cook, but others can pass by to the bedroom at the same time. Love the double sinks, but would like a cover for at least one side, to have more counter space. The thing that attracted me to this RV was the big windows in the living area. Lots of light and cross-breeze. We removed the piston fixture for the front door, as just a breeze would blow the door closed. We added a magnet, just like the ones for the basement compartments, to let the door open flat against the rig. It does block some of the window when open, but we can utilize the screen door properly now, and it is not sticking out into the site when open. We tow a jeep with this rig, and it has no problems when going up a steep grade. Very satisfied with our RV and hope to use it for many years.
