2007 Coachmen Class A - Gas reviews

For an entry into the 40ft diesel pusher world this RV has been excellent. Easy to drive. 2 slides are larger width than other similar models. Layout and sleeping for 4 adults and 1 child is convenient to set up. Reliable Cummins engine and Allison power train. 300Hp may seem low but coach is not real heavy at 26,900 lbs so gets 11 mpg towing at 62 mph. Rides well at 60-62mpg and rides up steep hills OK, kicking down to 5th gear and rarely to 4th gear. Attractive 4 color scheme gets some nice looks and easy to spot among common RV beige. We added a rugged spray-on front "linex" cover to prevent stone chips vs having that 3m plastic coating that fades and cracks after 5 years. Unit is very serviceable by Cummins and other more general RV service shops. All parts are readily available from OEM suppliers. Show less

Of all the 8 motorhomes I have owned, this one was the most classy and liveable -- so many features and options it's hard to describe. The tour bus style storage is wonderful and it has the best gas mileage of any I have owned even though it is the largest. Show less

This was a great RV for our lengthy trip out west. We were in weather from 95 degrees to 29 degrees and we were comfortable at all times. Overall, we put on 5,000 miles in 3.5 weeks, no problem. RV handled hills with ease and had plenty of room for our everyday lives. Show less

This RV has been dependable with no issues. Being 12 years old, it has continued to be a work horse on the road with power to spare. The last 4500 mile trip went without a problem and my family had the time of their lives. Show less

I loved this RV. It is the absolute perfect RV for 2 people and their puppy dog. It is easy and comfortable to drive. And a powerhouse to tow a car. It is very roomy with plenty of storage. And it is gorgeous inside and out. You can pull into a campsite and within 20-3o minutes you are set up and ready to relax. My husband and I can no longer RV because of medical reasons but this little guy was the ultimate of fun. Show less

This coach is great. Very powerful, handles well, lovely to drive. Inside is impeccable with all the amenities of a much more expensive coach. It lacks for nothing inside and out. Lots of storage inside and out as well. Show less

Love this motor home drives awesome great breaking ability with engine break. Plenty of storage inside and under the motor home. Diesel generator is quiet and very powerful. Hauls my tow trailer and car like it's not there very functional motor home. Big front window you get to see the country you drive thru I like the visibility. Show less
