The Winnebago manufactured Itasca Meridian 42E is a luxury Motorhome with what many owners think is the best floorplan ever made. Based on a solid Freightliner chassis with a remarkably smooth ride and handling. The beautiful Winnebago high quality cabinetry is the next thing that I noticed after being blown away by the L-shaped leather sofa, fireplace and leather lounger. I love the huge residential refrigerator and lower pull-out freezer. It held more than the one in my home! I think the Itasca Meridian 42E is the best floorplan ever made for a class A. The layout is perfect for fulltime living or just occasional trips. The Freightliner chassis with the 450hp engine is a dream to drive which is why it is the chassis for do many Class A motorhomes. But the interior woodwork is beautiful and high quality. The three air conditioners do a great job of cooling in the Summer heat of Orlando. Show less

This has a 350 hp Cat engine that runs beautifully. Great condition. This has been a really nice roomy coach for us. We love it but are getting older and want something smaller. 2 slides, central air conditioning, electric sofa bed which opens at a push of a button. It has the most comfortable front seats you'll ever ride in. Washer/Dryer combo. Nice sized separate shower and sink with a ton of counter and cabinet space. Separate commode area. A nice separate laptop table. Great kitchen with tons of storage in the whole coach. 3 pull out pantries. We can't even fill up all the spaces. Master closet lights pop on upon opening door. Fans in the front of the coach. Fantastic fan. Electric patio awning. Slide covers. New tires 2024. Everything in this coach is done well and for your comfort. Drives like a dream. Clean Title. It was a delightful way to see the country, visit friends and relatives, relax for a weekend or a couple weeks, or even just to drive! It had all the power we ever needed, even going up the Grapevine on I-5 near LA, the Siskyous in norther CA, or the grades we encountered in the Rockies. We were fully loaded and towing a mid-size car. We had our own space when it was just the two of us, and had room for friends to join us. The refrigerator was bigger than the residential refrigerator we sold when we hit the road. The backup camera and maneuverability made it easy to park, even in parks with narrow roads, narrow sites, and with obstacles limiting options. My wife even liked driving it on the highway! One time when I was away and the lake started flooding, she even moved it to another site! If she could still do steps, we would NOT be selling it. It breaks our hearts to part with it. Show less

Bought our 2014 itasca meridian used with 15,000 miles. Have had it for over a year now and put about 6,000 miles on it. When we first bought the coach, I had to fix some minor issues, outside porch light and some small interior decorative work. I know a year of ownership and 6000 miles is not much but the coach has performed flawlessly. Rides great and everything has worked well. The interior appears to be build very sturdy and feels like you are in a tough and well built coach. We had the yellow “ check engine “ light come on, the fright liner information display immediately gave me the fault code, quick google search revealed it’s the EGR sensor, nothing serious or immediate to worry about. If you are in the market for a used coach and can find a nice itasca meridian, judging from my experience, buy it. One last thing. The split bathroom plan, toilet and sink in one room and shower and sink in the other room sucks. They are both very small, that’s the only drawback to this coach. So I gave it a 3 in livability. Viewed this coach at the dealership. Many issues made us skeptical of buying . Front was severely worn requiring refinish. All slide-out rubber was worn and on a couple hanging loose. All tires need to be replaced. King bed not functional . Appears as though this coach was lived in with out normal maintenance. Salesman was unaware of location of house batteries and we did not see them. These issues were obvious may be more with closer look. Show less

This RV is beautiful, runs like new and has so much room. Feels more like home than any other RV we've been in. Plenty of storage and the hardwood floors are awesome, easy clean up and great for allergies. Plenty of bells and whistles. Show less

I cannot say anything bad about this rig. Had plenty of power, comfort and reliability. Beautiful leather furniture, porcelain toilet and washer/dryer all worked wonderfully. I had it when it was out of warranty. So the factory warranty does not apply. Show less

Itasca is the higher end line of Winnebago. Our extensive research showed that the Itasca/Winnebago was the highest quality and best built for the money. It is extremely durable, reliable, and has a good reputation. It is very comfortable and has all of the conveniences of home while on the road and camping. It is built on one of the best Freightliner Maxum Chassis, an powerful Cummins turbo-charged diesel engine and an Allison transmission for powerful and reliable performance. It has extensive exterior storage compartments, and the interior is very thoughtfully and conveniently laid out. We would definitely buy again. Show less
