New to us 2010 Itasca Ellipse 40BD - love this diesel coach. Drives like a dream, 400HP w/ 10k tow is awesome. Everything is built solid. Excellent layout for us. 5 Star warranty rating is based on excellent current customer support with Winnebago on a 14 year old coach! Show less

Purchased used a few trips ago and it's been absolutely rock solid after working out a few kinks from sitting unused(mostly spiderwebs clogging the propane systems on the water heater and fridge). I can't rate the warranty aspect as it's a 12 year old RV, but have had great experiences with Winnebago's support of older units in the past in regards to manuals, parts availability, and customer service. No better brand than Winnebago/Itasca! At just under 27'long, and short wheel base, we loved that we could get this into all our desired remote camping spots. We pulled an 18'ski boat and launched it with our Sunstar with ease. The video monitor let us keep an eye on the boat as we drove down the road, and a huge help when launching. Tons of storage inside and out, we are the 2nd owners, the first owner purchased with every upgrade possible, then continued to add more afterwards. Solar panels keep our batteries charged for boondocking, and he had the best car-towing setup that's included with a built in air compressor. We're going to miss her, but change of job means more time working and less time camping. So on to the next family she goes ! Show less

This is a great motorhome - I really can't find anything wrong with it. It drives great and easy to handle.. Tows Perfectly. Easy to maneuver. I love all the added features like the auto leveling. I can park and be setup and enjoying things in 5 minutes.. It's a very well built rig. To Take care of the nice Paint Job I use X11 on the exterior body to ensure longevity.. Show less

Unit has great livability with the amenities of a larger coach. Very economical to operate with mileage 15-20 mpg. Drives like a van or SUV. Tows as if nothing is behind it. The manufacturer keeps all parts in stock and is very responsive to requests for assistance. Show less

Great smaller unit with three full slides.Large shower.convection oven.Fantastic memory foam queen bed.3 tv's.Good color scheme.Full outside paint (three color).Comfortable leather set. tremendous sound system. 4000 generator. easy out awning,levelers (auto).Quality cabinets. Easy pull car connections (5,000 lbs.) v-10 Ford-(About 9 miles a gallon w/ pull car. Have had two of these models and would recommend to new buyers. Show less

Love the quality. Fairly easy to drive unless towing. I think most gas models have this problem. Love bunks and floor plan. I trust this company and would buy again. Next time will upgrade to diesel. Plenty of storage for our family of 5. We live in motorhome in the winter and homeschool. Plenty of room with smart packing. Very homey. Show less

Every slide leaks water all the slide ceilings are full of water and rotten ( nightmares) don't wast your money stay away from Winnebago they have no integrity. The unit smells like mould and mildew problems from factory poor design and bad warranty , stuck with unit can't sell it not worth nothing :( Show less
