Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite 279BH reviews

We bought this camper brand new. The dealership we bought it from was wonderful great people tried standing behind us with all our problems. But Gulfstream manufacturers will not stand behind their product. We've had multiple leaks. The front end leaks in the bedroom around the window cross the floors the walls are warped leaking around the slide into the living area. Had nothing the problems with the water heater when we first bought it. It's still not right. We have contacted Gulfstream multiple times with no results. We've called our insurance company he says it's a manufacturer problem. I do not recommend buying a Gulfstream camper I'm a very disappointed customer. I've tried to seal areas where the leaks may be coming from but I'm not sure if that's the right spots. I don't want to mess with it too much Show less

I loved this camper when we bought it, seemed like the perfect first camper. But turned terrible when the roof started leaking, its ruined the cabinetry above the bed in the front. The bath tub leaks down and has ruined the floors. The windows in the bedroom in the front leak, have also ruined the floor. And to make everything more upsetting when I called the manufacture they told me there is nothing they can do about it. 2 years with this camper and now we can't even use it until we get it all fixed. The refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen stopped working. We already had the main fuse box blow and be replaced. Very upsetting, will for sure being reading reviews on our next camper purchase, once I figure out how to get out of this nightmare. Show less

Nice Floorplan. Cheaply constructed. I've owned it 8 days. 4 service calls. Awning lag bolts not connected. Also channel for water drain was attached and seam opened. D foam fir slide out not properly attached. Tounge is not grounded properly. Got a shock over by battery. Sunlight/ exhaust fan in bathroom leaking. Show less

Definitely do not buy from this company. We bought a brand new unit in June of this year in August walked out to the driveway opened the door and noticed the entire front end was covered in mold and water was everywhere. Turns out it had a roof leak. Now it's been sitting in shop sense September and we get an email every couple weeks saying they are still waiting for parts. Contacted Gulf stream directly and got what do want us to do about it. Fix it Show less

I just need help I bought my camper last year and notice I'm getting watercoming from under the top right corner under my sink in the bath room it goes right down under my tub..I'm so gross out..I checked all windows and revealed them and still can't find the leak ...I even checked the roof ..any advice would help right now.thanks Show less

Bought 4/19/2021! Roof and slide was leaking before 90 days old! It was poorly put together. The sink in the kitchen fell out and the only thing that was holding it up six quarter inch screws and it was a bottom mounted and the sink was a top mount design! Biggest peace of crap I every got! Got pictures if anyone needs them! Do not buy Gulf Stream!!!!! Show less

Owned our Amerilite for 8 months, on our third trip found the window by the dinet has been leaking long enough to cause the boards to mold. The gas struts on the outdoor kitchen failed during our first trip. If you run the water pump with the lights on it will blow a fuse. Water lines are ran wrong and mislabeled. At first I thought I got one that was built on a Friday after lunch but after reading reviews I see it's a quality issue with this brand. Steer clear. I miss my Jayco! Show less

Don\'t buy this trailer. They are poorly slapped together! No response from last email. Constant fight and struggle to get warranty covered repairs done!! So sorry I made this purchase!!! Show less
