We have had a great time with this motor home.It runs well and is very comfortable to sleep in. It has the Allison transmission and the Chevy work horse chassis . It has low mileage and very few scratches and dings. A very good and reliable rig. The tires are in great condition and it has a ten thousand pound towing capability Show less

We like to go into provincial and state parks. Having a motorhome any longer than 33 - 34 feet can and usually will make that near impossible. That's why we chose the Fleetwood Southwind 32VS. Its large enough to spend 6 month in (Snowbirds) and small enough to get into the good parks. The shorter length makes it easy to drive and handle and leaves lots of room for extras with the weight capacity ratings. We can also easily tow our Honda CRV and don't even know its there most of the time! I rated the factory warranty/support was rated as a 1 Star because we bought this unit used after the warranty had expired. Show less

I want to foreworn anyone that is looking to purchase a Fleetwood. I have a 2018 and have had nothing but problems and realize that this thing is basically becoming a money pit. The latest is that since I have had it I never noticed that it did not have a tail pipe for the generator. How would I know there is supposed to be one. I don't use my generator that much I only turn it on for 1-2 hours a couple of times a month to run it and cool the interior down on hot days when I'm getting ready to take it out. One day 5 year later I had to actually use it for a few hours while waiting for someone to move out of a spot we paid for. After a couple of hours the carbon monoxide alarm went off. We thought it was acting up so we reset it. Found out the alarm wasn't acting up - it was in fact telling us that the interior was getting carbon monoxide. Contacted Rev RV and someone was trying to help us however management who never wants to pay for anything unless they absolutely have to said that they wouldn't do anything because I waited too long to let them know. Really - how the hell would I have known sooner that during the manufacturing process they "forgot" to install the tail pipe? There are a lot of other issues I have had with my unit because they "forgot" to install something or installed much of it very poorly where things literally fall on your head and fall apart. I have had so many problems that I would be writing a novel if I had to cover them all. Back to the reason for my post - please do plenty of research before buying a RV. These things are so cheaply made and the quality is not there so they have so many issues. They skimp on the nuts, bolts, screws, etc. required for sofas, tables, cabin chairs, cabinets, trim, you name it. They put enough in to hold it up until you buy it then it starts falling apart faster than your wallet can keep up with it. I have to laugh at them telling me I waited to long to say anything when I wouldn't know that their people skimped on my unit and didn't install a major piece that could have ultimately killed us all because we were in the unit with our pets. I guess their attitude is "life is not important" because you waited too long to tell us, instead of checking into why the part was never installed to begin with. Based on many of the issues we have had one can say that QC is not present or practiced at their plants and lack of QC can be taken a whole lot of ways. Do your homework and I wish the best of luck to you because when, not if things go wrong, you will be completely on your own. I have not had a properly working tankless hot water heater in over 5 years. I didn't even have hot water when I bought it and they still haven't gotten it right. It is much better after their last fix last year but it still is not working the way it is supposed to. Show less

We love the Fleetwood Southwind. We bought the most popular 35K model and love it. The only reason we are selling ours is because we enjoy it so much and want to take even more people with us to ball game weekends. Otherwise the 35K is perfect for a couple or 2 visitors. The 1 /2 bath is great when you have guests staying with you. The floor plan offers a washer/dryer option for long stays. We especially like the 2 air conditioners living in Florida, and the indoor fireplace on cool evenings. The LED lighting on the awning is awesome when watching TV outside. The 22.5 inch tires make for a smooth ride. You cannot go wrong with the the Fleetwood Southwind 35K. We love it so much we are purchasing a bigger Fleetwood Southwind. Show less

I owned thus Southwind 32V for 22 Years and 81,000 miles without a single major issue. Great Motorhome. Sure, in 22 years I tightened a lot of loose screws, plumbing connectors, compartment hatches. Like any vehicle if you maintain it, it will last. Most people think Motorhomes are like cars. They are and they aren’t. They require a lot of tender loving care which it you provide it the coach will last you a long long time without any major issues. I had to use Fleetwood warrant service just once. The front cap popped loose from the top of the windshield. The dealer wanted to charge my insurance when they broke one of the windshields while removing it. I refused. Fleetwood stepped up and made sure the repairs were done correctly. Took about a week. Since then over 20 years have passed without need for any emergency service other than maintenance and routine repairs. Show less

This beautiful motor looks brand new, You will be so proud to just show it off. This Southwind is superior to the Fleetwood Bounder. Don't get me wrong, the Bounder is great, but the Southwind has more to offer. For this price you can keep it for 3-4 years and get your money back. However you will never want to sell it. So many good things to say about this motorhome. Totally outfitted for boondocking and dry camping and has many many extras. I’m going to miss it. Feel free to ask any questions that you like. It has provided us with 17 years of fun and many many memories especially in the Mojave desert of California. It will make a great camping vehicle or even to live in full-time. Show less
