Only two problems: bedroom door slide guide and shower door leak. Fixed both myself with $4.00 in parts. Don't need two tvs in the livingroom but they work great. Very satisfied with overall fit and finish of everything. First time class a owner. Would recommend this model from...read more

In September we purchased a brand new Thor Luminate CC35 from Camping World. When we picked our unit up, we discussed some issues with the dealer such as a stand floor and the steering wheel was set at 1o'clock instead of straight. We were told it would be taken care of. We would bring the unit back in a week when they were done prepping our towing vehicle. When we returned with our unit we had a few minor other things to be attended to, such as crooked cabinet door, rough finish on the rear paint, rips in wall paper, the bright head lamps shot straight up into the trees, and a few other issues. When we returned a week later to pick up our unit the repairs were made except a bubble in one step, the head lamps and the steering wheel. I was told I would need to drive our motorhome a couple thousand miles before the steering problem could be fixed and that we would have to take it to a Ford dealership for alignment. We then left on a trip from Indiana to Florida. On the trip down, we found the generator wouldn't start. Stopped by a Camping World in Bowling Green, Ky. and they told us the carburetor was gunked up and would need to be replaced. Mind you this is a brand new unit. I called my dealer and he called back telling us that we would need to take our unit to Cummins for the generator repair! While in Florida, we came up with about 12-15 things with our unit that were a result of poor craftsmanship. The shower wall was not sealed around the topped walls. The medicine cabinet door was so tight, every time we opened it the mirror came loose or nearly would fall out. Corner trim loose, staples sticking out of carpeted area in passenger floor area, flooring in slide out of bedroom looked patched in and nail heads showing. Cable wiring throughout unit not working and worse of all, the theater seat loveseat was cracking and very hard to put foot stool back in. Dropped out unit off at Camping World over 4 weeks age and it still isn't done. Told today that the generator parts are not do in until Dec. 7th. Payed almost $200,000 for this unit!
