**BEWARE OF THE PLEASANT WAY ITS NOT ALL THE HYPE!!** My experience with La Mesa RV in Davie as a single woman new to the RV Lifestyle has been nothing short of a nightmare and a complete disappointment, especially for the 2024 Mercedes Pleasant Way Plateau that I paid over $175,000 for! From the moment I purchased the RV in September 2024, the issues started piling up. On the drive home from taking delivery, the check engine light came on. When I called the next day, Blake, the salesman, minimized my concerns and brushed it off as “not a big deal,” suggesting I take it to Mercedes myself to get it fixed. What reputable dealership lets a customer drive off the lot with a check engine light on and then tells them to deal with it on their own? They also failed to give me all of the keys at the time of delivery. I was fortunate to figure this out prior to taking it out of town otherwise I would’ve been hundreds of miles away from home, unable to access certain areas of the RV. When I took it to Mercedes-Benz of Coconut Creek, I was told they were unaware of any pre-existing check engine light issues, and due to a shortage of lifts for Sprinter vans, it would take 5-7 days just to look at it. I was forced to reach back out to La Mesa RV, who had no problem inconveniencing me further by having me drop it off at their Davie location and Uber back home numerous times. They took the RV to Mercedes in Miami, where it stayed for several days. After getting it back, La Mesa assured me everything was taken care of, but within an hour of driving, the check engine light was on AGAIN!! I was already headed out of town for a camping trip. This time, Joseph Jaure from La Mesa had to pick up the RV from my home when I returned and bring it back to Mercedes of Miami, where it sat for another five days before being returned to me. Only now, within an hour of driving out of town for another camping trip, the air conditioning and internal appliances stopped working. I had to pull over on the side of the highway and call Pleasant Way, who informed me that I needed to reset the inverter by shutting down the entire unit, including the engine. It was an extremely hot day, and I had friends and my dog in the RV. That was the first of three times that day the inverter/charger failed. Later, Pleasant Way casually mentioned they were aware of this issue and that it required a software update only a technician could perform. They knew this could happen, yet did nothing to ensure the updates were applied before delivery. This left my friend and I stranded to figure out other accommodations on our camping trip. In the course of owning this brand new 2024 Mercedes Pleasant Way Plateau for just five weeks, it has been in the shop for three of them for various repairs and system updates. Meanwhile, I’m stuck paying monthly payments for a defective RV along with storage fees. It’s clear that La Mesa RV got their money and could care less about the consumer. They assured me they would fix the problems and communicate clearly, but they have failed miserably on both fronts. I’ve given them ample opportunity to rectify the situation, even requesting a replacement, but I’ve lost all confidence in La Mesa RV, Mercedes, and Pleasant Way. La Mesa’s customer service is beyond appalling. I’ve had to reach out to Channel 7’s "Help Me Howard" just to get attention on this issue. Beyond the initial $175,000 purchase price, the loss of usage is infuriating, and the company refuses to offer any meaningful compensation or solution. La Mesa RV is only interested in getting RV’s over the curb…. and getting their money, once they do they will leave you high and dry the moment issues arise. Drives as well as any Mercedes, very comfortable and the interior is awesome! Everything on the vehicles worked extremely well over the past 7/8 years except one item> the 2.5 KW Onan Generator. Onan/Cummins had issues with the voltage/fuel regulator. The part can (and was) replaced; however, it's extremely difficult to find reputable mechanics that are willing to work on these "on-board" generators, and most Cummins dealers and service centers will not work on RV's. I did find one Cummins dealer an hour away tht claimed they could fix it; however, this misdiagnosed the problem 3 times and after 4 trips there and back, as well as 7 months waiting on different parts each month....I gave up and found an independent RV dealer that fixed it within 3+ months. Bottom line: All good on this make and model but just don't count on using the generator often. Show less

Pleasure-Way has a great warranty and support. Almost every weekend in this RV is like a mini vacation in it of itself-day picnic near ocean or near mountain-just park and enjoy nature anywhere in downtown or away from cities! It’s a hobby for me to keep it mechanically and impeccably clean. Never smoked in, no pets and I’ve owned it for over four years and have improved it. All the appliances still work without any problems. The craftmanship is the best, I can recommend without any hesitation. Show less

Absolutely love this vehicle!!! We bought this to have a nice vehicle to travel in and were blown away at the quality of the build out. The attention to detail is second to none, the quality of the cabinetry, the choice of appliances, the floor plan, the overall design and versatility are just amazing. We own a business and run it from this vehicle as we travel. For us the front and rear work stations are what sold us. We can each have our own work station and not be in conflict with each other. The Mercedes 3500 chassis, once we upgraded the suspension, is a dream to drive. It has every bell and whistle you can think of from adaptive cruise control to lane assist, blind spot monitoring, amazingly clear back up camera, 7 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, MBUX multimedia system with built in navigation and any other function you can think of. Pleasure Way chose the Truma Aqua-Go tankless water heater with circulating pump for continuous hot water flow, a full wet bath with toilet, sink, and shower. Stainless steel kitchen sink, very nice high arch center pull out faucet, electric induction cook top, huge galley area, compressor driven refrigerator with small freezer, microwave oven, and very nice Corian counter tops. A Truma Vario Heat furnace, air conditioner, propane generator, 200 amp hour lithium coach batteries, 3 solar panels, and a 2000 watt inverter. The coach can be plugged in to shore power, run off the solar panels, run off the propane generator, or off the 220 amp alternator from the engine. It has an out door shower, 2 out door 120 volt outlets, and an out door propane adapter for a grill. You can put out the power awning with LED lights, plug in a TV or what ever electric appliance you want to run, set up a table ang grill right outside the side door of the RV. I've camped for 4 days straight with no electric hook ups, took 2 showers, flushed toilet, washed dishes, cooked, and worked in the RV all day and never lost power, water, or propane. I've dry camped for 4 days with temps in the teens at night. Stayed nice and warm, used RV antifreeze to flush toilet, bottled water to drink and rinse dishes, ran the propane generator and used solar power for electric and never lost power or had to leave the site. Amazing!!! This is all in a class B RV!!! It's so versatile. I can park almost anywhere, we average 17.5 miles per gallon on highway, has a diesel engine that has the power to take us anywhere we want to go. The ride is smooth, way more quiet than I ever thought it would be, and my wife even loves to drive it. I can't say enough good things about the quality of this Pleasure Way build out. It's elegant but tough, comfortable, but rugged, gorgeous to look at and absolutely fun to drive. I can't believe I get to own this vehicle!!!! Show less

The Mercedes Sprinter chassis with the Turbo Diesel and the Pleasure-Way Acsent-TS cabin is a perfect RV. 19' 5" long, generator, cabin A/C, kitchen sink, 2 burner propane stove top, toilet, shower, basin, electric folding couch turns into a 70" x 72" bed, Forced air propane heater, TV and BlueRay player, Swiveling front seats, removable dining table, 6' 3" jnside headroom, outside 2nd shower, hot water heater, and more. The layout of the cabin is perfect. They have not changed the layout to date. 16 plus years. You can't believe how much room you have for such a short RV. The cabinets are extremely well built. The Ultra Leather seats (front and rear) don't wear and are easy to keep clean. We get 20 miles per gallon on average. Easy to drive. You can park it in most single parking spots. Self contained for camping with no hook-ups. The motor is quiet and omits little to no Diesel smell. Pleasure-Way Industries has engineers available for any questions. They have been so accommodating to deal with. This is the best RV we have owned. Show less

Low mileage...excellent diesel engine performance,miles per gallon and driving ease. Double heat source as well as A/C. Solar equipped. Quality interior craftsmanship. Manual awning is in excellent condition, but somewhat cumbersome. Show less

Just picked up our new unit. It had 33 miles on it at dealer, we drove 57 miles but didn’t make it home. Bang in the rear end, could barely make it up a small hill so we could pull into a lot. We waited to hours for Mercedes road side to pick it up. We were very excited but now are massively disappointed that we spent that much money for this. Show less

First 3 years of ownership were great, no issues. This year so far replaced the LP regulator as frig would not work, only lasted 2 days, then toilet broke, had to find replacement, not easy due to COVID no stock. finally found a plastic replacement. frig not working again, replaced solenoid valve assembly including burner. Working but not 100% correct, still trying to correct, Dealer not very helpful. No parts have to do our own part hunting. Mercedes 3500 great to drive highway, mountains and small back roads. Wonderful Unit with highest quality features. Easy to drive and dock. Murphy is awesome and stows away with ease when not using and the couch used as a daybed if needed. Full bathroom with shower is a great feature with a large shower. This unit gets 15 to 20mpg with plenty of needed power. Instant hot water along with a furnace that keeps it at temp even in cold areas. Show less
