We bought this RV as a non-current model from our local dealers existing stock. We love the layout and find the quality of the build high compared to other brands that we looked at. We had some issues with the glass shower door track leaking, this was a common issue with this type of door and was quickly resolved by our dealer. Part of the issue was related to having the trailer spot on level due to the east west shower layout. Speaking of the shower, this is one of the features we love about the Solaire line, nice big showers with a seat. We love the outdoor fridge and induction cooktop with a nice size counter included. We had an issue with the TV and the power antennae the first time we used the trailer, the TV was replaced, and the antennae issue resolved by our dealer with no issue. We are currently working with our dealer on trading up to the 258RBSS because we have moved up in canine size and need a little more room. I feel a lot of the support issues that are written about are dealer related, we have had great support from our local dealer and are not hesitant at all to buy this brand again.

Water intake manifold leaked & had to be replaced..no water for three weeks was a major inconvenience. Now the shower drain & outdoor sink piping are leaking. Please take some pride in your work. We paid $55k for a huge headache.

We've owned all kinds of RV's, from 36' Grand Junction fifth wheel, smaller 30' Southwind Class A gas, to 37' to 42' diesel pushers. This 30' trailer, however, is our first at this type and size. I looked at Arctic Fox, Jayco White Hawk, Grand Design Imagine, and Keystone. This unit came in below $30k, including a new Blue Ox 4 point hitch (installed), electric fireplace below the 40" tv, 21' electric awning, 2 slide toppers, outside refer, electric burner, bbq that mounts on the bumper, Dexter torsion axles, solar pre-wire, rear camera pre-wire, double doors with swing down steps, outside speakers and tv mount, double 36" deep slides, electric stabilizers, electric tongue jack, and more.It was only used lightly, and tires (rated for 70 mph) look nearly. The front kitchen is my wife's prize, with a large front window of automotive glass. This unit is now under Forest River ownership, but the Palomino quality standards are still enforced at their original plant.

Roof seal was incorrectly layed missing the front/sidewall joint on the right corner where water collected and seeped into walls causing the front portion to separate from the sides and outside walls to warp. Contacted Palomino really just for a suggestion on how to fix and they just put the blamed on me saying I didn't follow the owners manual and reseal it twice a year. Didn't offer any type of solution, just a not our problem attitude. Keep in mind the seal didn't fail, the craftsmanship and QC failed. Also low score on the floor layout as a friend has the same style of camper made by Keystone and it has twice the storage capacity.

Very disappointing and i wouldn't have bought it if i would have paid more attention.

I would have given 5 stars for all items, but due to the POOR WORKMANSHIP, I can only give 1 star on quality. We recently bought a new Palomino Solaire RV. We have been camping for 30 years and have had a few new and pre-owned RVs. When it was time to upgrade our RV, we researched the new trailer for brand quality and features. Soon after we brought the RV home, it rained. I found water flowing across the floor. WTF! This was a new trailer by a high-end manufacturer. After a few hours of troubleshooting, I found that the stove vent had not been properly sealed and allowed rain to freely leak into the trailer. POOR WORKMANSHIP! I next found that the bedroom TV did not work. The cable had been improperly wired. POOR WORKMANSHIP! The first time we used the shower, water leaked out of the enclosure doors. The door bottom track had not been properly sealed. POOR WORKMANSHIP! Soon after, we found that the bathroom floor was wet each time we showered. The shower drain had been forced in place, the joints were improperly sealed with silicone, and were now leaking. The silicone showed that the drain was at least tested, but instead of properly fixing the drain, the factory installer / inspector decided to cover it up with silicone. POOR WORKMANSHIP! I then found that water was dripping from the weatherproofing membrane under the trailer. The water heater enclosure had not been caulked properly. This allowed rain to leak and accumulate on the membrane until it could no longer hold it. When I cut the membrane, at least a gallon of water gushed out. I had to remove sections of the membrane, along with the soaked moldy insulation above it, until I reached dry areas. POOR WORKMANSHIP! I did not plan on spending my camping trips with my new trailer fixing defects that should have been fixed at the factory.

Ug, I wish we didn't get this travel trailer. Other than it is easy to tow, the back window is cool, everything else was pretty bad, that is until we fixed the issues. I'll list what we had repaired under warranty. Back brick pattern over the stove needed to be adhered to the wall, the counter with the sink and stove was uneven, they leveled it, but not perfectly. Fresh water indicator kept coming disconnected. The black and grey were labeled wrong. Worked on the awning that kept rolling up unevenly and causing a lot of pressure issues on one side. What we fixed on our own thus far: We had to support the sink, it fell through and was held with pieces of plywood, now held with metal brackets. The TV is 24" you have to have binoculars in bed if you want to watch, but pulling it out and angling pulled the upper cabinets away from the wall, that has been repaired and resealed. Placement of the TV is horrible, constantly hitting our heads. We are looking into putting the TV in a more appropriate place, but may just leave it and learn to deal with it. Behind the couch and window (on the slideout) was a gaping drop used to store the heavy table, we made a nice lid to fit perfectly between the window and couch and now our dogs love it and are no longer afraid. Got rid of the ridiculous heavy table and now have light tv tables, nice little storage place as well for couch pillows and blankets. The storage under the bed came a part, pieces of frame literally broke in half, we had to replace the cheap wood frame and now it's sturdy. Still working on the live tv antenna, doesn't ever pick up anything and there is no crank to raise it so it can pick up air tv, not sure yet what that issue is, but working to resolve. When we sell this trailer whoever buys it will have a trailer that is not slapped together, but one where the owners took time to fix things that we should have never had to fix. Palamino can do better!!
