This is an older camper with very little use that has been a total piece of crap since the day I bought it. If this is quality material in construction of this cheap as possible construction,Lance is full of shit! Material to construct the seating at the table started flaking off chunks of the plastic from the material after one year. Refrigerator needed replaced after a couple years after very little use. Air conditioner broke. Heater broke. Outrigger broke. Edge of table cuts into your arms when sitting at the table. Toilet plumbing leaked after second outing. Gauges to indicate water, black water and grey water are not accurate. Heater broke. All this with very little use!! Blinds don’t work. Window valances fell off. For what I paid for this piece of shit, I expected alot better quantity since Lance uses quality as a featured selling point. NEVER BUY A CAMPER FROM LANCE!!!!!! Show less

The 855S is a wonderful Truck Camper. Its perfect for 2 people and a dog. Easy to get around in it....not hitching and un-hitching and you can get around in tight spaces. It has a comfy queen size bed with a real mattress and a good size dinette for adult size people. Had a travel trailer before and you don't realize at first how small some of the dinettes are. Lance is also a great brand! Show less

Over the last 40 years we've owned all the different types of RV's, new and used. This Lance is our 2nd truck camper and by far the best fit for our downsizing, yet very active, diverse lifestyle of trips, vacation camping, boondocking, and remote work locations. I'm a guy who cares more about the construction quality then the fluffy, shiny stuff. Afterall, what good is a bunch of shiny fluff if there is nothing strong enough to hold it all up? Lance impressed me with their Azdel wall/roof construction... NO exterior WOOD to absorb moisture! The factory was also very supportive when I contacted them to find the solar prep wiring. They not only told me exactly where it was, they sent me detailed CAD drawings of the wiring system. After 4 years of use, it still looks, smells and feels new! Show less

Really great RV. Lots of space. It feels like you have a mini hotel suite! Great additions. I really like the stove option along with the three burners. The sink is deep which is great! I also love the GoPower! solar panel! Show less

2008 lance slide in pick camper model 815. truck was backed up to garage. we just finished packing and was about ready to make a trip into northern mich. the wife went into the house to fix her hair. and there was a loud explosion. the fridge blew up and totaled the camper. It blew a hole in the roof as big as a wash tub. I just bought this rv from a dealer, no one seems concerned. I'm not giving up. lance model #815 Show less
