We love our Lance. We find that the quality is excellent and floor plan for a smaller trailer, with the slide out, is well proportioned and roomy. The appliances, stereo and TV are manufactured by different companies, and not Lance, which are found in most trailers. We were told by the salesman we bought one of the last trailers built by the original Lance company who has since sold. Show less

First Lance makes excellent RV's that hold their value well. They are located in Southern CA so easy to get on the phone for any issues. This 1685 tow very easy with one of the lightest tongue weights per size available. The rear bathroom layout means a wide open floor plan. This is just an enjoyable RV and I have loved taki9ng it on trips or just to relative's house for a visit. You make a good guest when you stay in your own RV. Show less

Great travel trailer. Vought it used in 2018 lightly used from someone who decided they wanted a larger model. Purchased it from Galaxy Campers in Ontario, California. They are wonderful to work with. We added solar and backup camera and an additional battery. Trailer pulls like it's not even attached to our Silverado LD. Lives much larger than it is with a full size queen sleeper and a slide out u shaped table that accommodates four comfortably. Could not be happier with quality of construction and value compared to less expensive trailers that are built with inferior materials and workmanship. Holding tanks are all 45 gallons. Trailer weight capacity exceeds 1500lbs. Show less

Bought my 2018 1685 New in Yakima Washington at a Lance dealership the slide leaked,fantastic fan leaked over the bed, A/C wouldn’t run on high,propane regulator leaked,auto retract awning didn’t work,sink faucet fell off,front window screen/shade was junk,tank monitors were never correct I’m sure there’s more but yeah that’s Lance quality for you. This is such a well thought out and comfortable trailer! It has excellent appliances and storage to make your camping experience better than a 4 star resort! We have traveled in our trailer for 10 weeks nonstop and were comfy and safe the whole time. You can never go wrong with a Lance trailer! Show less

Since buying the Lance 1685, I have had the door latch break off, the door window shatter in high wind, the kitchen cabinets fall off and strip the screws out. The overhead kitchen cabinet hinge fall off. The light glass domes fall off and shatter into a million pieces. The ceiling leak into the bathroom thorough the sky light. The bed curtain gets caught in the slide every time so what stupid person invented that? The slide out leak into the main dining area. The QC at Lance definitely needs to step up their inspection program. Show less

I just purchased a 2018 1685 after many years research into the quality of the Lance trailers. The cost matches the quality rating! My first trip out, the wind caught the front door and swung it backwards into the kitchen window and it shattered. Why would Lance design a kitchen window that pushes outward instead of a sliding window so it cant be reached by the front door. The black tank cap is so far under the trailer, i cant get a grip on it to loosen the cap. Why put it that far under the trailer? The glass decorative lamp shades fell off during transit and shattered. Why not make those out of nonbreakable materials? The electric jack shorted out and quit working. The back skylight is leaking. This is a disaster of a trailer. I come from a Quality Assurance background and these types of design and reliability issues should not happen. Show less

Very dissapointed in the workmanship of this "quality" trailer. The water supply can loose on the toilet. The front cooktop burner fell off. The cooktop cover fell off. the Panel under the dining area came off on the last drive home and has ruined the beautiful floor. Slide out doesen't work well have to reset frequently. etc. Just some of the challenges. Not happy. Had a Big Foot trailer for 15 years with minimal issues. very dissapointing to pay so much for such a poor quality trailer. Show less

Excellent quality. Made in California. One of the best travel trailers in the market. Easy towing. Total comfort, first class interior. Large capacity with 1 slide out. 45 gallon fresh water and waste water tanks. 4 season rating. Show less

We went camping for the first time with our new Lance 1685, and in the first two weeks, I've never had more problems than any product I've ever bought in my life. I've had to reset the heater at least 10 times, with cold nights before I read the manual and called the dealer to find where the reset switch is inside a panel. The cable TV does not get the park cable service, only the antenna, but get park cable after I rewired it through the satellite coaxial cable, which means the splitter is probably hooked up wrong. The hot water heater worked right at first but does not work now at all no on gas or electric, and resetting the whole power system does not help. Dealer had me check everything, no hot water. It's more like Fix-It-Again-Tony FIAT than Lance, poor quality. Dealer says to call Lance regarding the warranty. I'm so disappointed. Show less
