Entegra Coach 30Z reviews

We have had campers, Class B, Class A, 5th Wheels and now a Class C again. This Entegra Odyssey is the best all around unit we have ever owned. We have had it over a year and no issues at all. No recalls, nothing. We have been on several trips, the last trip was 32 days in 5 different states. Great Unit! Show less

I purchased my Entegra Odyssey 30z 1 1/2 years ago. It is easy to drive, tows my TOAD easily, and has great storage. I've done quite a few updates that made it much more enjoyable to drive and stay in when camping. they are: New shower head with much better water volume Replaced theater seats with higher quality and more comfortable ones Added Road Master Exact Track steering stabilizer Added RV system airflow to the AC units Replaced the shower doors with Nautilus retractable shower door Added a Winegard SK 1000 HD satellite Replaced the cheap hubcaps with a nice aluminum wheel set I had 2 warranty issues. The water pump started leaking while I was on an extended trip. I replaced it myself since I could not get an appointment at a warranty dealer. I also had an issue with the cable wiring. The TV cable and antennae cable were cross connected on the booster. I found the problem myself and corrected it. Overall, I like the RV. The upgrades have made it more enjoyable to drive and stay in RV parks and campgrounds. I drove many other class c motorhomes before I chose Entegra. I believe that it was better than the rest of the class c motorhomes on the market. Show less

Multiple electrical issues. wiring harness behind wall not connected. outlet eiring not grounded. ac units only work with generator power. floor had to be replaced due to dark spots. floor needs replaced again due to faulty installation. window shade mount fell apart. front hub cap came off on first trip. tire valves inaccessible. oh yeah..... and the dealer mechanic drove it into the shop without rolling the steel garage door all the way up shearing off the solar panel and damaging the mounded front panel lights. Put as much distance as possible between you and the Jayco Warranty/Support organization. In the first 14 months, I had my coach in for warranty work 3 times, plus two electrical problems I fixed myself. Most were wiring problems. Because of a strange Texas law I have had to pay for the warrant work and wait for a reimbursement from Jayco. For 2 1/2 months I have been giving one excuse after another why I haven't gotten the check. Never mind that It shouldn't have been in for the repairs if the manufacturing wasn't so sloppy. Their wiring is terrible. Wires are cut with no slack and pull off terminals, The wire for the Android Auto wasn't installed, Screw went through the wire for the refrigerator then it quit working . The front window shade has been in for repair twice because it sticks and the roof had a leak. Wish I had never bought it. Show less

This is the Good the Bad and ugly of the entegra Odyssey 30z! The good, the floor plan is great! We can use it with all the slides in with no problem. You can use everything in the couch with the slides in! The RV drives ok but drifts a lot, I added the Safety T Plus already and am going to out hellwig sway bar on it next. The fireplace and TV are right across from the theater seating. The table make a almost 6 foot bed big enough for 2. Now the bad!! The quality control from the factory is bad! The tv is mounted crooked, as is the mirror in the living room. The couch door is hard to close right where is does not rattle while you are going down the road! ( We would push it from the outside to get it to latch and lock it). On our second trip on our 5 month old camper the inside handle came off in my 5 foot wife's hand so right now we can not use the door cuz it will not open! It goes to the shop in June 2022. The bedroom slide got jammed and I had to call the OEM to figure out how to reset and the funny part is they did not know where the controller was! It's inside the drawers in the hallway. Now the ugly!! Still our 2nd trip down in southern Florida from Missouri the bedroom a/c just stopped working!! Local shop came out and could not fix it even tried replacing it with new one!!?? They said the interface board is bad and they do not have one. 3 days later still in Florida the other A/C just stopped working would not come on at all not even the fan!! So in 5 days on our 2 trip we can not get in the camper without going in the cab doors and we have had both A/C just stop working!! The Ford van itself seems to be fine but the couch has so many problems. Not last but not least the shower leaks so we could not use it it on our 10 day vacation from Missouri to Florida to see the grandkids! I still love the layout of this unit and will update this review when and if they get everything fixed and at that time will update the factory warranty / support. Show less

We have had our 30Z for a couple of months now and taken 2 trips with it. Our dealer was general RV in Huntley Illinois and they did a good job for us. The quality of the workman ship is bad! The main TV is mounted crooked by 1" so is the mirror in the living room. The cover under the refrigerators is the same way. The cupboard doors above the TV don't line up with each other. The cable was wired wrong so we could not get cable. I am an electrician so I fixed that. The cover over the water filter is crooked. The shower some how leaks out into the living room on the floor but I can't see where the water is getting out? One of the storage compartments leaks outside. The rear slide has jammed on both trips, had to call factory to figure out how to reset it, bad part is finding the controller. FYI it's inside the bottom drawer in the hall way! I love the lay out and just wish they would have done thier job when they put it together. I have fixed most of it myself but I am taking it in to camping world to have the shower fixed. I added the safety T Plus and that made a big difference in the steering. I am going to add hellwig stabilizer bars next. Hope this helps you! Good luck!! Show less

Love the rv. Hate the quality of workmanship consistently in repair for refrigerator,entrance steps, slide gaskets, taillights burned out, hole in awning, but soon as warranty was done the tank heater in rear fell off and all the lights were dim and slides were not working the ground wires were put on with cheap screws and broke off my kids fixed them by putting them in with stainless bolts they told me wires were hanging under the rv from front to back called Entegra and was given arun around saying nothing they could do I talked with a supervisor and I’m still waiting for some kind of answer Entegra is basically a jay o I will never purchase one again I only have 4500 miles and only about 15 trips on a two year old rv totally disgraceful workmanship and customer care Show less

Two years old and the grounds to chassis attached with regular small screws all corroded and falling off . Only used the rv maximum 20 times mostly very close by to our residence wires hanging below the rv. Asked about it and was told this was a natural occurrence with jayco. I called Entegra company twice told there was nothing they can do I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told to email in pictures. I did so immediately no confirmation sent saying they received them I call the next morning and left a message with the supervisor asking if they received them I left my name and phone number at the end of the day still no answer guess they got their money that’s all that matters. Very unhappy the quality of workman ship is questionable We have it about two months are first outing. Ac did not want to work, auto leveling didn’t want to work , mud flap coming off , lost all four hub caps , can see where the nails are put in on the trim, white tape where two pieces were joined, no hot water , no covers over the vents let’s to much heat in, I had to put a pillow on are rooms to help keep it cool , while driving the door rattled all the way up here was worried it would opened so I keep it locked , one of the awning arms square. Not sure what else could wrong hopefully nothing else. We called coach net for help they had no one to send us. What a fun first trip. Thank go’s I bring fans. Show less

I love the odyssey 30z Farmhouse This is the best layout I have ever had. The RV is truly better quality that its partner 30z in the Jayco.. Pretty much when you buy one now days you are in your own. Entegra will not even know you once you pull off the lot. Good luck in getting them to fix their sloppy workmanship and with all the excuses they tell you would not make me want to deal with them again. Dealer ships are the same except they can only do what the manufacturer lets them do. And if you have to go out of state to buy one good luck on finding someone to do any warranties work for you in your home state. Jon Hains , supervisor at Jayco does not ever follow thru and will not take care of manufacturing problems once you take possession. If you have to pickup your RV just make sure you can repair the poor workmanship your self cause as fast as these are selling the manufacturer does not have any customer service. This is my 5th RV from new class A to the 2021 class C, and this is the worst I have been treated by the manufacturer. Hope this helps someone from the same problems that I have had Show less
