2007 National RV Class A - Diesel reviews

We live in Colorado so wanted a diesel pusher to make it up mountain roads without being stuck in the slow lane. This is our home away from home. With three slide outs, this RV is very comfortable to relax inside with the family on a rainy day and not be on top of each other. Decent size closet and drawers in master bedroom for longer trips. The sliding door for the bedroom allows for privacy from guests sleeping in the main area. Two bathroom sinks are helpful. The shower is roomy for larger sized adults. Adults sleep comfortably on the queen size pull out couch mattress that air inflates and is surrounded by a quilted, zip close, mattress cover. The dining room table folds down to sleep two more guests. The kitchen has lots of counter space and cabinets to make preparing meals easy. The two air conditioning units worked fantastic when we camped a Lake Powell in 100 degree weather. Storage down under is made easy with sturdy roll out units. The motorized awning is awesome for eating outside, protected from the sun and rain. We have many happy memories of camping trips to Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, and Yosemite in our RV. One of our friends gave it the nickname "The Starship Enterprise." We have certainly explored the world's beyond! Show less

This is or second RV. We bought our 1st RV because we had an older dog we would not leave or board. So we decided to take a 2 day trip and take Hershey with us. The 1st RV was a gas burner and an inexpensive way to start but we found we loved the camping experience. After 2 years that RV began to delam in the walls and we knew we must trade. We knew we wanted a bigger shower and a more heavy RV. The gas burner bumped and road walked as it road so we chose a diesel. Our RV building had a 12 ft door opening so we needed an RV under 12 ft tall. We found this National Tropical and we loved it from the start. The shower was big and the water flow excellent. The cabinets were well built and was very stable on the road. Everything about this RV was so much nicer than we had experienced before. It was consistent and we had and still have confidence in this RV. We had a couple in our town sell their RV as he felt he no longer could drive. We decided to look at it as my husband had eye surgery and this RV had side cameras to help our senior self. We just put our items in the 3rd RV last week and I can tell you a couple of things I will miss from this National RV we have for sale. This RV has a cupboard of sorts by the refrigerator. It has about 5-6 pull out baskets that are wonderful for the foods. It also has a linen closet for towels and blankets and extra pillows. Our 3rd doesn't have either of these features and I miss them already. The slides work perfectly but if you part somewhere and do not want to put the out you can still walk the entire way from front to back easily. In the 3rd RV we bought we can not. So as far as floor plan and comfort this National tropical is excellent. We have really enjoyed this RV and we hope someone else will love it as much as we do. Show less

I absolutely loved everything about our National Dolphin. The quality of this rig was top notch, from the chassis to the interior & exterior. It came from the factory with all the bells & whistles and was completely self sufficient. I would highly recommend this Rv to anyone looking for a dependable rig with all the comforts. Show less

It is the best build rv with 8. 1 gm gas + allison transmission, i recommend one to any buyer! No problems, climbs 10k ft. Mountains up and controlled down, real smooth! All systems are pro quality and work ez, love it.... Show less

This RV handles and drives very well. Being inexperienced with driving RV's I was very apprehensive in the beginning but I was surprised at how easily it drove and handled. The RV has a very good layout with tons of storage space. My wife loved the kitchen and had about every thing you could ask for. It had 3 large slides and was very spacious. The bedroom was large and had a king sized bed. This unit has plenty of power (350 HP turbo diesel) for towing our car. I would recommend this motorhome to anyone wanting a really good used motorhome. Show less
