2003 Gulf Stream Class A - Gas reviews

We love this motorhome! The opposing slides make for a huge living space, and the atrium windows allow plenty of light in, so it doesn't feel like a cave as some Class A motorhomes do. The Caterpillar 330HP 3126e turbo diesel runs like a top, and with the Allison MH-3000 transmission has no problems getting us where we need to go. The only complaint I have is the bath is small, but I suppose that is the price to pay for all the open space. Show less

Great little RV for a couple. Smooth driving. Rides great. Well maintained, so no surprises on a trip. Took 3 trips; q) Florida for 2 weeks, 2) Charleston for an extended weekend, and 3) Portland Maine to visit new in-laws. We decided to tow a "toad" to get around better. Love this so much, we are upgrading to a small class A. Show less

Love the roominess and all the storage. Drives straight with very little sway. Easy set up at camp grounds. Shower is large just like home. Very bright and sunny. Show less

RV runs great, it only has 40,000 miles on it. It is in mint condition except that the fridge just died two days ago. We all know that the quality management within the different RV companies in non-existant compared to European manufacturers, bit overall my BT cruiser is pretty good. Show less

The electric steps really caught my attention. The interior was like new. I liked the slide outs it made the unit double the original size. We are considering buyin if we can get financing. Show less

I have used this unit for 8 years and for the most part been quite satisfied with the performance. Over the years of ownership I have upgraded many items. Flat screen TVs, tankless water heater,multi camera rear view system and a tire pressure monitoring system. I took it from Colorado mountains to New Mexico desert and was comfortable anywhere we traveled. I averaged about 20,000 miles per year and would say that service was about average for a quality class a coach Show less

This is my third RV. This one is best for roominess, storage, dependability. Good for towing. Performed well in cold and hot weather. Good for short weekends or extended trips. Home away from home feeling. You can bring family/friends and all your stuff. Bring your bikes on rear bike rack. Good for dry camping too. Show less

Bought this RV new in 2003 to drive from NJ to FL. Expected to use it for overnight trips and the occasional longer trip. In reality mostly used it to camp at Disney World. Show less

Great 37 ft. class A Huge side slide and bedroom slide making the interior spacious and livable. The master bedroom with the dual vanities and Tub/ shower area is awesome. Tons of interior storage. Only two things that would improve this unit are a little larger exterior storage and a diesel engine for a bit more push on the hills when towing. Those aside, this is a fantastic unit that is easy to travel or live in. Too bad Gulf Stream isn't making motorhomes any more. Show less
