The Mercedez Delano does not honour warranty. The paint on the unit's is God awful. They change out tires to put cheap tires and then Mercedez will not warranty them and Thor denies doing so. overall do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY that is all they care about. We purchased our 2018 Thor Siesta 24 SS new in Sacramento , Ca . we have made 1 one way and 3 round trips from Ga to Ca . multiple trips to Florida and even a trip up to Maine last year ! Other than some minor cosmetic repairs I made myself , this Motorhome has performed almost flawlessly ! We had almost purchased a Very large Class A and are now glad we did not . We have all we need in this compact yet roomy RV and it gets better mileage than my 2018 jeep ! (Which we easily tow behind ) I have just recently had a B service at a Mercedes dealer ! All looked good when inspected ! We could not be happier with our Siesta ! Maneuverability is a big plus in rving ! You'll be glad you purchased a RV on this true and tested Mercedes chassis ! The 3 liter turbo will amaze you with it's power and fuel economy ! Save yourself from a huge luxury coach $ loss ! This RV will retain it's value for years to come ! About 3000 miles on it. Step is not working. In Galveston Tx now and it has very little insulation. Air Cond. has to run all time. Generator is going iut. It produces approx 30 amps new, but is throwing breakers at less than 20. Tank gauges dont work correctly. It is very noisy driving. You have to speak very loud to talk to other front seat passenger. The engine is a V6 and it skows going up hills. ROMs run very high cruising at 75 moh. Around 300-3200 rpm. But it looks sharp and fun to drive. Show less

We absolutely love the layout and drive ability of this model. We are a mid60’s couple, but half of the use is our mid30’s daughter, SIL, and their 3 young kids (custom mods to switch one side if dinette for 3P seat with shoulder belts/headrests, but still function as bed at night time. BE AWARE that the unit’s GVWR less it’s actual weight means you have to be very judicious with occupant and cargo load (ROCC). We help that by carrying 1/3 load of fresh water. We have also reduced some weight by taking out 2 of the 3 TVs, taking off the SS wheel covers (they’re going to fly off in time anyway), and packing light as possible. The GCVWR along with the 5,000lb hitch rating allows us to pull a ‘08 Honda CR-V (~3,500lb) as a toad around half the time. We’ve driven this combo from Canadian Rocky Mountains, Wash/Oreg/Calif coast, and the Mercedes V6 diesel manages even the mountain passes just fine. Measured economy averages 16 MP(imperial)G while towing, averaging 110 km/hr. 35,000 km on unit now, and SO happy with the basic unit. The elephant in the room though is the poor Thor build quality. We bought new, and our dealer experience was good, but their warranty would only fix issues to Thor OEM quality, which is poor. Issues included thin poorly-fitted bottoms falling out of drawers, flimsy latches for keeping drawers closed, flimsy mirror panel on vanity, shoddy under-unit wiring dangling haphazardly, loose rear inner fender liners, and several other issues that mean even a brand new unit warrants a careful going-over to make necessary improvements before hitting the road. Comparing experiences with other Thor Citation/Siesta owners on the road seems consistent. The Mercedes machine and the compact C-class concept are unbeatable, but the Thor execution comes across as needing improvement. Show less

We were sold a new 2018 citation. We had it 2 weeks and discovered the following problems: hot water heater, stove, furnace, slide, holding tanks nd numerous other defects. Camping world has had it for 5 months and still not fixed!!! No communication from Thor or [Dealer]. Stay clear of this brand and [Dealer] Show less

Just purchased our RV in Spring 17 and took our first trip over July 4th. First the good news: We love the Sprinter chassis and the overall look and layout of the RV. That's about it for good news: The RV was parked for a month getting it ready. We couldn't wait for our first trip. Well, the roofed leaked about a gallon of water soaking the driver and the floor the first time we hit our brakes (100 yards from home). The sink leaked the first day soaking everything in that cabinet. The shower is leaking from behind the wall into the bedroom. None of screens fit tight enough to stop insects. There is an engine warning light showing our restraint system isn't working and will require a 70 mile trip to the closest Mercedes dealer (and left overnight) that will honor the warranty. The awning wouldn't retract when we were packing up. Luckily after about 30 minutes it decided to work. And the overall quality of workmanship is very poor. There is sealant stuck on about everything indoor and out. We purchased the RV out of state (130 miles away) so all of this is just a big inconvenience. We really didn't get what we paid for.
