Ford F550 is awesome! That's where it ends. Get ready to make huge investments. Purchased from an individual and my be is they had all the same issues as the repair shops I have taken it to say the items have been replaced. I have replace the refrigerator, the shwintec slide system, hot water heater. We have had to repair the sliding doors. Window trim falls off and had be reattached, window mechanism replaced that holds side window shut. Line got pinched by slide and had to be replaced. RV techs tell me the slide will never last because it's a single full side slide and Shwintec won't suppor the weight. Show less

In 2023 Thor placed the Magnitude SV 34 on an F 600 chassis. With the Ford 6.7 L Power Stroke and Torque Flight 10 speed transmission, the towing power, handling, and drivability of this unit is at the top of the Super C class. With over 3000 pounds of cargo carrying capacity and four-wheel-drive, this chassis will get you into a lot of places with the gear that you want to take with you while not having to change to a class A or B drivers license. The layout with your theater seats and dinette facing out the large window on the camping side is my favorite. There is ample kitchen space a nicely laid out bathroom and a nice large king bed. While there is room to sleep people over the bunk, I find this layout has been perfect for one to two people. The bill quality I found to be overall good on my unit and for the most part Thor has been good with warrant and support. After a six month shakedown., We did find multiple issues with our dealership, got fixed through the warranty. Some of the things included the kitchen counter was not attached properly, we did have issues with the slide and needing to have wiring replaced, the black tank flush had never been attached at the factory, and the rear shade had fallen off while we were traveling down the highway. Thor wanted to correct all the items except for attaching the black water flush which they said was wear and tear. After several discussions with the warranty department, they finally agreed to fix something that they never hooked up in the first place at the factory. I would give overall quality a higher score if it wasn’t for the slide system, which is a constant problem on this unit. Luckily, I have bought an extended warranty, which has paid for several more repairs on that slide unit since the factory warranty has run out. I love this unit and have not seen anything on the market that I would replace it with. Overall, the quality on my unit has been good and the livability has been excellent. We purchased this RV to haul our 4 place horse trailer and travel across the country for a year!! The hauling and power are great! Unfortunately the quality of cabinets/carpentry is so very very poor! The tankless water heater has already needed to be replaced and tankless technology is not that great because in order to get hot water to wash dishes in sink uses up SOOO much water. Not great when boondocking! Our bumpout has given us trouble since day one but now has completely broken!! Thor has been completely unhelpful!! They make the customer AND dealerships go through ridiculous hoops to get a warranty item fixed! We so far have spent 3 extra weeks in 1 spot on our trip because if you move and don’t have the original dealer that submitted claim do the work you need to start claim process all over again!! VERY VERY ambiguous about when parts will be shipped to dealer!! I have had an email thread with Thor & dealership for a month now. ETA for parts in the email thread has always been a certain date. That date has come and gone no parts and I find out the day before ETA that the ETA isn’t even referring to delivery of parts to my dealer but to Thor factory which in turn needs to mail it out to dealership after that!! I am starting to ramble all I can say is not at ALL truthful or transparent!! Totally different complaint: to fill fuel tank takes an hour or possibly more! You have to dribble the fuel in because the pipe that puts it into the tank has a 90 degree angle Hopefully this experience will help someone make an informed decision and not just based on power for towing like we did!! Gauges for fresh water, grey and black are completely useless. Most of the time they all 3 read exactly the same at 67%!! Show less

This is this single worst purchase I've ever made. The problems stemming from low quality and terrible workmanship are endless. It's a continual game of whack a mole fixing these problems. I'm laying here as I write this with some electrical device humming so loud under my bed that I hope I don't burn alive in this miserable death trap. Show less

Buyer beware!! Thor sold me a brand new 2022 Class C unit and, 2 months later, the dealership is still rebuilding the shoddy work this company turned out. Broken jacks, plumbing that needed to be completely redone, flooring with soft spots, and a slide that won’t work. Once they have your cash you’re on your own. Show less

I purchased a 2021 Thor Magnitude new. The Ford 550 chassis is great and it tows my Jeep very well! Unfortunately, the Thor portion of the RV has been a bad experience. I have had countless problems with the RV due to very poor construction and workmanship on the interior of the coach. I would not recommend buying a Thor product to anyone and would not purchase another one. The service is poor as well to get things fixed. Show less

We like that the Thor Magnitude BH35 "Super C" motorhome is a diesel for the added fuel economy, dependability, power and towing. We also like the Super C motorhomes because of how they drive. Driving this motorhome feels similar to driving a truck. Also, having a regular Ford diesel engine with lots of easily accessible parts and/or service around the country is nice. Working on engine (if ever needed) will be much easier than crawling underneath the coach or rearranging the interior for engine access. When the slides are open, the interior is very spacious. We love the layout with the 1/2 bath, which is convenient for on-the-go use and for guests (the coach sleeps 8). We love the kitchen and all the storage space throughout the rig. There's plenty of room for clothes and shoes, cleaning supplies, games, dishes, toiletries, linens and more. The fridge is almost full sized, and there are three TVs (bedroom, over the cab sleeping area and outside). The awning slides out with a click of a button, and there is a TON of storage space under the motorhome for tools, camp chairs, camping gear, etc. Show less

Takes 4-6 months to get a service appt - an indication of the bat regarding quality. Service reps are pleasant but accomplish nothing specific and won't put information in writing. Thor makes little effort to stand behind their vehicles and the customer service when you have a big problem - non working slides - is like a game of hot potato. If you enjoy being frustrated and regretting your purchase, a Thor product is for you. Show less

Thor is a piece of art!!! I purchased a MAGNITUDE 2021 SV on march 2021, I used it for 2 months and right after, awning was not working, the step ladder did not work, the bathroom was leaking. the whole floor has to be replaced .We took it to the the repair shop and guess what?? It is being a nightmare, it being 3 months and it not ready yet. I have cancelled 3 trips because of the time is taking. I feel very frustrated with all these issues. Thorn just took my money, they wash their hands on all the issues that my unit has. Those repairs shops are a joke, and they do not care about you. My motorhome brand new, and expensive ..how is so fragile?? HOW SO SOO i HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE, PAYING $ 1000, 00 MONTHLY WITHOUT EVEN USING IT?? THOR IS A RIP OFF, VERY EXPENSIVE WITH VERY CHEAP PARTS!!!! not to mention the CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Show less

Very comfortable and livable RV. love the quiet interior and smooth ride. unit is easy to set up with auto leveling jacks and automatic awning. Outside entertainment center makes outdoor entertaining very easy. Residential refrigerator with ice maker makes entertaining enjoyable. Out of the 9 RVs owned, this one is one of the most comfortable. Show less
