Great floor plan, optimum size and layout for hauling and hosting a young family. Generous fresh, grey and black water storage. Great patio conversion, kitchen and decent seating area. Probably the worst assembly quality out there. Customer service turnover rediculous bordering on morons. Leaks because of incorrect sizing of fittings, thrown together hoses. Fuel station problems, NO STORAGE. Additionally bad wiring in control panel. The componentry is excellent but assembly the worst! It's a shame since it could be the best RV out there. Another Berkshire Hathaway company gone wrong! Show less

** WORST RV PURCHASE EVER ** This is my 3rd RV, (2 from McClains And now this Forest River Sabre from Fun Town). I purchased this Supposed state of the art fifth wheel unit with the side patio at the cowboy stadium event back in April 2025. This unit was the number one hit at our first RV outings with several of our camping groups. In 12 calendar months, we have only been able to use this unit three times. After each outing with the unit, there were problems and issues with the unit and after all three outings, we would IMMEDIATELY take the unit back to fun town RV in Cleburne, Texas. With the first & 2nd Repairs in April 2025, it took approximately four months for all repairs to eventually be completed, (To be fair, they did allow me to come pick the unit up for a weekend event we had previously scheduled, and I immediately brought it back for the repairs to be completed). Those repairs were eventually completed August 9, 2025. We made our third trip in the trailer, to Galveston, Texas the last week of December, 2025 and departed the RV park January 6th 2026, where we immediately drove from Galveston, Texas to Cleburne Texas to drop the unit off because of, once again, breakdowns and issues with the unit. The unit had several issues, but, the main primary issue was a defective black tank that needed to be replaced. With this issue and all the previous issues where it took them so long to repair, the fun town dealership kept encouraging me to reach out to Forest River so that I, the customer, could have them speed up the approval process and the sending out of the parts process because, fun town said that’s what they were waiting on. I was basically put in the middle and forced to try and be my own advocate & facilitator to get my RV unit repaired between fun town and Forest River. As of today, April 16, 2026, my unit is still at the fun town dealership. They did receive the black tank two weeks ago, but, it still has not been installed. I was initially told, several months ago, that when the tank comes in, I would be made priority and they would rush my unit in to get it fixed and that it should only take about five hours. I contacted the service manager yesterday, Andrew Allegra, and he advised my unit has been in the shop for eight days, but that, he could not understand why it has not been completed yet. He advised me that he would get on it today and he apologized about the delay and he advised that he will check into the reason why it has taken so long. With my unit being in the shop for so long, my one year Unlimited warranty ran out last week. Fun town advise that I should reach out to Forest River to see about them extending my warranty since my trailer has been in the shop for OVER six months of the 12 months, I have owned it. I just contacted Forest, Rive, owners relation department, and spoke with a representative there by the name of Miss Randy. I advise her of the situation and am requesting an additional six months of unlimited warranty for my unit since I have only used it three times and it has been in the shop for over six months of the 12. She advised me that she will speak with her boss today and call me back with an answer. With this last repair where the unit was dropped off January 6, 2026, these last 3 months has been so frustrating and inconvenient. We have missed so many camping outings, holiday outings, etc. because the unit that I am paying for, is not available to me. I have made 3 trailer payments, I have made 3 RV storage unit Payments, I have paid insurance for 3 months, but, I have not had any use of this unit. Unfortunately, I am locked in, contractually, to this unit until I pay it off. However, I will never buy again, nor would I ever recommend again to anyone that they purchase a RV unit from Fun town and also Forest River. Both companies are so unaccommodating when it comes to taking care of the customer post purchase. What we are told and promised pre-purchase, does not match the care we will get post purchase. I just got my 2026 campsite elite 36ak. Beautiful trailer 5th wheel with a list of problems that everyone should run away from. Don't waste your money! 118000 worth of problems. Here is a partial list can provide pictures and emails to prove. Windows leak snow and cold, floor repai done bad, fridge bracket does not fit so can lock when in travel, toilet wobble, frost comes through the walls not proper insulation, snow drifts on the floor, windows trim to hold them in was falling off, ac heat strips not there as was part of the deal, furnace not working proper , snow comes through the windows, power running through the pull out to me.a big fire hazard,seal not proper around pull outs and the list keeps going. We bought this at the Calgary rv show where the reps from forest river and rangelad told us how good of a fit this would be for us seniors. How warm it would be for us . We were there to get a good rv fit as a.fire destroyed our rv so with insurance we needed a new one . they knew of our predicament and just wanted a sale full of lies and miss representing it. They have our money. That is all that matters to them. Shame on.all of them and the ones who build these need to put a bit of effort into their products. A beautiful trailer that is worthless! We purchased this unit used last year. The toilet in the back dumps into the grey tank that is the same rear tank for the bath sink, the washer hookup and the kitchen sink. That is so nasty. We contacted Forest river and they said they didn't know about it as it was a long time ago. We did several flushes with colored water to confirm this was correct. What a health hazard. Needless to say we will not be using the rear toilet. We flushed it out till it was clear. If you purchase a camper with rear bath, make sure it has a rear black tank. Show less

If I could rate them a 0 I would.. I purchased a new 2025 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen fifth wheel from Bish’s RV – Kalispell, along with an extended service contract, expecting reliability and support. Instead, I’ve experienced ongoing mechanical issues, poor follow-through, and a complete breakdown in service and warranty accountability. Since January 27, 2025, my RV has been without reliable heat and/or hot water, making it uninhabitable. I live full-time in this unit with my child. A heating failure led to additional damage, and despite multiple service visits, the problems have not been resolved. Most recently, a technician serviced the water heater and left it non-functional, throwing an E4 ignition error. I was told no one was available to fix it until days later — leaving me with no hot water after months of issues. What has been most frustrating is the lack of ownership: Problems have been repeatedly reframed or deflected Warranty coverage has been denied or delayed despite covered components Repairs have taken weeks, not days Communication has been inconsistent The burden has been placed entirely on me This unit is not a true four-season RV, yet I was left dealing with the consequences of system failures without timely support or accountability. I am still displaced, still without full use of my RV, and still waiting for resolution on a unit that is new and under warranty. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing an RV here to ask hard questions about after-sale support, warranty responsiveness, and what happens when something goes wrong — because that’s when it really matters. We bought this Cherokee Forest River Wolf Pack Toy Hauler and had nothing but trouble with it from the first camping trip. They sold it with only one air condition unit, and it needed two, because the unit could not keep up. We only used this camper three times in a year and two of those times were miserable due to no air conditioning or refrigerator. On the first camping trip there was no air conditioning, refrigerator quit, molding came off from the slide out, tear in leather seating when let down in toy hauler, door latch broke and could not latch or lock trailer. We bought it late February 2025 and have been in the shop since July 11, 2025, and is still there on 2/23/2026. They put on a new air conditioning unit and had to move the solar panel, which one service manager stated we needed a new roof due to addition of new air unit. Forest River warranty department manager Ashley and Lori have been of no assistance. They told us that once it went to Camping World it was their problem. I would not buy a Forest River Product. Ours is a complete lemon. Show less

I would never buy another product from this company. We bought this rv new ,when we went to pick it up ac units did not work. First trip out fridge didn't work auto leveling did not work and black water tank valve did not hold black water back, so I took a black water shower, not fun the trailer has been in the shop more than we have been able to use it. I would check other brands before you buy one of these. Show less

FOREST RIVER RV'S ARE COMPLETE JUNK ,THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORIBLE I have one of their newer 5th wheels and it's complete CRAP . BUILT WITH COMPLETE IGNORANCE, AND NO PRIDE AT ALL. If you want a quality built rv, trust me, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUILT BY FOREST RIVER. Show less

Have run this unit for almost 2 years now. Have made several long trips and been in it for several weeks at a time with it. So, Pros first. Good overall interior lighting. Fridge is good size. A handy second fridge in front storage. Bathroom fan switch is on the wall. The bathroom fan vent (switch is also on the wall) is power open. Both items are a no brainer. A solid door to rear bunk area is way better than a curtain. Windows are a good size in most areas, the tint helps keep sun heat out on those hotter days. Cons: All vents on the roof (bathroom, bedroom) should come with covers. I could not believe they did not have covers. They had to be the first thing added. Exterior needs another receptacle (on a different circuit) closer to the rear of the unit. No one uses a coffee maker at the front. Should have better exterior lights around the entry. The exterior access for the garbage can is too small. Storage setup is a huge waste of space. To access water setup for winterizing, you have to take a wall apart? As in figure out which screws are needed to remove a wall. A lot of wasted space under this area. This needs a rethink. While it is obvious that the faster you manufacture one, the more money you make. Several electrical fixtures were loose, the first time I plugged the unit in, it would not charge the batteries. By a fluke I found a loose connection under the interior steps. The entire electrical system needs better attention to quality. My fireplace was pushing out in one corner, I took it out and found so much excess wire behind it. I cut out about 4 - 6 feet from most of the wires. What a waste. Now to enter the unit, the four step solid steps are too heavy for smaller people to lift, they should have the easy step. It needs a better kitchen table and seating setup. The seats had drop down flaps to under seat storage that was useless and not accessible. I made slide out drawers to be useable. It needs another useable receptacle in the kitchen area. Why is a receptacle behind the garbage access? The TV is mounted on a chase just inside the main entry, it was so poorly installed that most of it came apart after one trip. I had to take it entirely apart and rebuild it to be secure. However this was simply part of the entire interior trim that was so poorly installed and many areas just not finished . I spent 8 hours just repairing or securing interior finishes. Overhead doors should come with a hold open hinge. The rear bunk area should have an operable window. The bathroom door is installed in a way that makes it awkward to get in to the room. The master bedroom needs more footroom around it. The bedroom closet slideout needs to be deeper. The heating vent design make the master bedroom and bathroom extremely warm, the lower areas are still subzero. Overall, the layout needs a bit more planning.
