For such a large trailer, it’s great it can be towed with some SUVs (we tow with a Ford Expedition Max). Most trailers with this much space require a heavy duty truck, but at 8,000 lbs this one tows nicely!

My family and I have loved each of our experiences with this camper. That being said, we're sad to let it go. We're only selling it because of our middle child's demanding baseball schedule and lack of use over the last few years.
As a family of five, we found the floorplan accommodating, spacious and comfortable. The only challenge we found concerning livability was the sleeping area mattresses. However, we were able to overcome that issue with the purchase of 4" foam mattress toppers. Now the unit is just as comfortable as our beds at home.
With the majority of our camping trips being between 2-4 days, we were pleasantly surprised at the livability of this camper... Especially regarding the usage of water and power. In that regard, propane was never an issue, even when heating the camper in the colder destination. That being said, it’s always a good idea to bring an extra tank or two if you can.
Overall, the camper is extremely light, especially considering all of the creature comforts it's outfitted with. That coupled with purchasing a trailer hitch that included anti-sway stabilizing (sway bars), I can honestly say we never encountered any issues pulling this camper, even on the most challenging roads under the most challenging conditions. With the extra five inches of ground clearance included in the "Extreme" model, we found there was almost no terrain we couldn't access!

Great single person and couple's camper. I have used mine in 4 below 0 temperatures. The electronic lift on the front of the camper with the LED light makes setting up easy. The camper has stabilizer jacks on all four sides and there is not floor flex in the camper. The roof has a great warranty and easy to clean. The awning is electronic and has speakers built in.. The shower is tall enough for a man that is 6'4" tall. The hot water heater goes for a long time not your typical three minute shower. the bathroom has so much storage. I would compare it to the bathroom in my condo at home.

We bought a 2016 StarCraft Launch 26RLS in January 2016. This is absolutely, without a doubt, the biggest piece of junky trash we have ever wasted money on. There were issues from day 1, starting with non-working awning lights that took 6 weeks to have fixed due to the dealership refusing service after the sale. It was a simple fix that shouldn’t have been overlooked to begin with. It seemed alright until the warranty ran out. After that, it was 1 problem after another. The DVD player quit working. The water connection was having to constantly be worked on due to leaks. The awning CAME OFF while my husband was driving down the road. As in, it ripped completely off, taking the rails & all. So much for the awning lights, right? The toilet leaked. A side window latch broke off. Water heater quit working. The side shelves on either side of the bed came loose & had to be fastened back up. The cabinet between the 2 chairs came apart & had to be fastened back together. The chairs themselves started peeling. Had to keep them covered to hide it. Did I mention the constant issues with leaks? Because the latest issue was when the bed collapsed. When my husband went underneath to see why this happened & how he could repair yet another problem with this trash, he found that the front wall (on the tow end) was a soggy mess. Apparently, it’s been leaking from the outside the entire time we owned this brand spanking new travel trailer. I was so excited to get this camper. And it’s been nothing but a major disappointment. They should be ashamed of this shoddy, pathetic workmanship. This was a complete & total waste of hard earned money. We will NEVER buy another one of their products.

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews about this travel trailer. I love mine. I’ve been through extremely heavy rain storm. No leaks. Cabinets are great quality. Great floor plan. Love the bunks as I put top mattress on top of lower bunk mattress and use top bunk for storage while camping. Tons of storage. Bed super comfortable with a foam topper added Quality overall is better than expected for an entry level trailer. Love the awning with lights and indoor outdoor blue tooth speakers. AC and heat work perfectly. Thought it would be a starter trailer but can’t imagine another one I’d like more. So easy to tow. Perfect for two adults. Would also be great for small family. I’m really happy I didn’t break the bank to get a camper. More money doesn’t always mean better quality. Love love love this camper Have had no issues yet so can’t comment on warranty/support

Thought this was a good idea instead of tenting out of my Enclosed bike trailer....big Mistake. Construction is poor., siding screws were missing and siding started to gap...window and sidewalls started to leak within a year. I don't know if the hot water heater ever worked as I went to use it on a trip and it would not light....sidewalls inside are luan with some plastid glued to it. I got sick of the thing and tore it apart....reinforced walls ....replaced insulation which had been wet with HDX rigid 1" foam and sealed everything prior with silicone. Used AZDEL paneling in some locations and aluminum Diamond plate in the ATV spot. Cutout the delaminating, spongy interior grade MDF plywood and replaced it with treated marine plywood. I would not buy a Starcraft product ever again.

For a relatively small travel trailer, my family loved the versatility of the AR-One Extreme. We mostly used it in Colorado and Utah, often in dispersed camping locations (no hookups). The "Extreme" features of this AR-ONE mean the axel is lifted for better clearance on rough roads, and the underside is covered for protection from the elements and offered a bit more insulation on cold nights.
We used all its features, from the heater to air conditioner, and really loved the ability to switch the fridge from electric to gas. This allowed us to boondock for up to 4 days a at time as a family of 3 without running out of battery power (and no generator!).
The grey water tank is rather small, so we'd have to empty it out if we washed dishes in the sink, otherwise it was fine for weekend use.
