I contacted the frame manufacturer but they would not take responsibility either.

One day after the camper was set on our permanent spot we noticed the floor was separating. My husband called the dealer and someone came to look at it. The only thing that the warranty would allow for repairs was to sand the plywood section that was sticking up. The repair man said that the plywood was actually breaking apart, but Salem won’t replace it. We now have two other spots in our floor that are doing the same thing. In addition to this, the shelving in the pantry is falling apart and the shelves are falling. We only have spices on these shelves. This camper is a year old. Disappointed in the quality of this camper, and incredibly disappointed in the lack of cooperation with the warranty.

This RV was an awesome camper. It's a full-length bumper pull toy hauler. The best thing about this unit is the floor plan. It literally has 2 separate bedrooms each with a queen size bed, and each room with a real door to separate the spaces. This is perfect for camping with kids and guests. The second bedroom converts to the garage and it also can be arranged as 2 couches, a table and benches or 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has direct on-suite access to the bathroom. This unit also has a slide in the main living area created a spacious feel. Many bumper pull toy haulers do not have a slide. The outdoor shower is convenient for rinses off or washing feet before entering have having fun and getting dirty. This camper over all was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

Very bad experience with this camper, It delivered at the campground permanent site ,turn on the water. The bathroom sink wasn't even hooked up, Is water sprayed everywhere, The shower walls were falling off I had to re glue them .checking other things. Looked underneath. It was like a three-year-old put up the rain guard which had a 3' cut in it right at the black water pipe. Which was sealed with gorilla tape imagine that? Very upsetting. If I would have seen this I would have sent it back and refused delivery. But who looks under the camper at sixty two years old ,you got me, I would have never bought this camper, nor will I ever buy another camper From heartland or thor. You got me ,you will never get me, or one of my friends. If I have anything to do with it. I contacted you guys and the dealer haven't heard anything for 3 weeks. Not counting my 360 antenna only gets 11 channels and my old camper got 46. Whoever was the quality control on this camper should be fired? I will make it my personal mission, to go to every camper show in my area. I will. let everybody know how I feel about your company ,Unless you all can get here and fix this problem.

I bought this trailer for recreation and for living while working construction jobs away from home. It’s been a great trailer for both. The only thing that I detest is making up the bed putting sheets on after mart mattress is a nightmare !! I also wish the bunkbed founded up for easer access in and out of bed. I welded In a 2’’ Receiver Hitch On back bumper and frame for a platform for a Champion generator, works well but it helps to have the water tank filled to even out the weight so as not having the tail wagging the dog.

We love the layout and interior finishes of our new Shasta, however there are a lot of parts that have been cheaply made or assembled. Our RV has already been in the shop a few times this year for warranty work. Our electric water heater board was faulty, our sink drains were not installed properly and caused leaks, and the seat backs of our dinette were not screwed in, causing tears in the fabric. The exterior shower was not assembled properly, so that was another leak we had to deal with. Our inside shower has recently started leaking from behind the insert and the siding has also separated from underneath the steps. Last night our heater stopped working, so we will need to bring it back for more warranty work. Although I love the camper, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the assembly in the factory.

Must be coming from the roof. Also to the price tag they add $1325 dealers fee and $725 cleaning fee befor adding taxes. So this travel trailer is almost $11000. $3000 more than in the advertising on Internet. What a scam company.
