I purchased this Little Guy Max trailer in March 2023. I took it camping in Yellowstone and after two weeks, the furnace quit working. I took it took into a repair facility recommended by RV complete. It then worked for two days and it quit again. The dealer I purchased it from kept it two weeks for repairs and returned it to me. It has been too hot for me to verify it actually works. However, when they worked on the heater, they must have shut something off on the stove because now it is not working. This is the fifth trailer I have owned and I have never ever had so many huge problems. Also, the drawers are poorly made and coming apart. The fridge drains the battery when towing so battery is dead by time I reach destination. So I have spent the summer freezing and now the stove doesn’t work either.

We searched RV's for years and settled on the 2020 Little Guy Max because of the quality, layout, wet bath and coziness....the big difference in everything we looked at was the quality. We do NOT have the front window or the star gazing window over the bed nor do we have the TV. However, we instead have the great storage system that folds down into a solid buck bed. Our 7 year old grandson LOVES it up there while our other two grandsons were able to sleep on the fold down dinette....foot to head without too many kicks to the face:) The shower is AMAZING....a lot of pressure and hot!!

This manufacturer and model is the ultimate in quality and versatility in a small camper. It has everything you need in a small enough package that you don’t get the drawbacks of a larger camper, like weight, height of the camper, ease of backing in, mileage penalty etc. We have taken this small rig on two 1500 trips of 3 weeks plus and never wanted anything more. For short stops, we leave it attached and do not really even set up the campsite. For longer periods we put up the attached tent to add a LR and unhook the vehicle. We get lots of comments at gas stations, toll booths, restaurants etc.

I bought this trailer new from Budget RV in Royse City, Texas. Purchase was in mid-July. Trailer itself is shoddy… missing screws on stovetop and awning support. Bathroom door didn’t close unless I lifted it up. Trim around corners or seats and in other places is merely paperboard with tape printed to look like wood. Rubber trim concealing screws on front of trailer started flapping in the wind an hour from the dealer. Water heater (dometic 6-gal, gas/elec) has not worked once… even though I’ve replaced the thermal fuse. Gas will now stay on, but no hot water. Electric can be left on, even overnight and still no hot water. It’s a single axle and moves quite a bit when semis or buses pass. All-in-all… would not recommend this trailer to anyone. Yes, it looks cute and retro, but it may as well have been quilt in China. Have emailed manufacturer… did not even respond.

I paid $41,775.51 for a brand new Little Guy Max and on my first trip, I discovered the Gray water meter was faulty, the shower is leaking into the dining area and worst of all, a leak on the black water pipe resulted in my interior being covered in sewage. The RV has been dropped off and the dealer is working with Xtreme Outdoors to resolve this but this company has a terrible response rate. Now I am out $42k and no longer have an RV. It’s a beautiful RV but at that price, I expect quality and accountability. My advice, look closely at the workmanship, check seams, cabling, piping and cabinetry, I was with the technician inspecting the leak and found a lot of poor workmanship. Or.. Go with a different RV! Update: Three months later and there is no accountability from the manufacturer. The CEO has nothing to show for his promises to "do right" by me. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS MANUFACTURER

We bought our Aspen Classic to tour Alaska because we were afraid our older GMC motorhome would have problems. Our regular car is a Toyota Camry which was not approved for towing so we went searching for the smallest, lightest camper we could find. We had seen An Aspen Classic on one of our camping trips and were intrigued. Designed to be towed by any motorcycle 750cc or larger, the Aspen Classic was what we needed. We searched for a used one but ended up buying a new one. It turned out to be one of the best purchases we have ever made as campers. It tows beautifully, even a Smart Car would hardly know it's back there. With 25 cubic feet of storage, it held everything we wanted to take, including a portable toilet. We got most of the options and even though it rained A LOT in Alaska we had lots of room both inside and outside to enjoy. Our only complaints were that the king size mattress is a little thin and we may replace it with an air mattress, and the leveling jacks are a little long to use for some campsites. It was a joy to get somewhere and after 20 minutes of setup we had supper on the stove and an adult beverage in our hands. It takes some practice to be fast but with two people who have done it some, in two minutes you can be out of the rain and finished in ten minutes. We seldom felt the need to hurry that much. We have camped places where 200 mosquitoes could find your arm in seconds and after set-up lounged in complete comfort, without a single bite. It's satisfyingly tight. More than once we've had two inches of rain overnight and been snug and dry. So, if you want to take tent camping to the next level with a full watertight floor, sleeping off the ground on a king-size bed and a nicely sized stand up room, you should look closely at an Aspen Classic if you can find one. The amazing amount of storage and easy towing are nice bonuses. Look them over at aspenqualitytrailers.com

For the money, this is a fabulous camper and so cute. The teal colors inside and out are an eye-catcher. One of the least expensive on the market but comes fully insulated underneath for cold weather camping. Has a nice electric powered awning but it would have been nice if they would have saved the money on a manual awning and used the money to put in two more (on the front) stabilizer jacks and a Fantastic vent fan in the living room ceiling vent. I had to install both. The TV mount is in the wrong place (on the front wall) to sit and watch TV (you have to turn sideways). So I installed the TV over the kitchen counter. Now you can sit on the couch or bed/dinette and two people can watch TV. Lacked toilet paper holder and toweling holder (as most campers do) so had to install those. The Dry Bath is the big selling point of this camper because most small campers have a Wet Bath. For dry campers a dual propane tank system would have been nice and a dual battery. I installed both on mine. The large tanks are a plus with 36 gallons fresh and 30 gallons each for the Black and Grey water tanks. Overall, it's a nice camper for the money. For twice this much money (Casita, R-pod, etc) you get a little more, but no more usability and most of them (Casita, R-pod, etc) have very small wet baths (shower over the toilet stool). I had an R-pod 176 that was totally unusable inside. Went camping once and sold it.
