Love the floor plan and livability. We changed out the pub seating and made the outside grill into a tool storage sliding shelf and doubles as a outside grill prep/grilling tool table. The separate spaces are nice to have - living, dining, awesome bath and nice bedroom with a great front closet. Workmanship is ok. If we wanted better we would have gone with a Gold - but works great for us. The under-storage is huge which is great for ladders and fishing rods. The huge 65” TV, fireplace, and living room is spacious and comfortable. We changed out the tires to 14 ply (G) and it is a very comfortable pull for the truck. We only wish there was a little more kitchen storage and slide out shelves for the pantry. With the “4” season insulation and the fireplace we can keep the camper warm to 70f even when it gets down in the low 40’s outside - without turning on the furnace and burning propane. The mattress needed to be changed out as the original is not good. Overall it has been good to us and we still love it after 4 seasons, 33 states, 2 provinces, and 26,000 miles. Show less

So far quality is really good. Have about 2500 miles on it with a few trips and no real issues. There were some loose screws on various cabinet doors. No leaks yet in plumbing or instant water heater. Solar, charge controller, no issues. Got rid of the lead acid battery that came with the unit and installed a 300ah lithium. Came from factory with 400 watts solar on the roof, may add 2 more panels. With current setup, could probably make it 2 days with cloudy days so I may also add another 300ah battery. Auto level has worked perfectly. The only annoying thing was the bedroom door and that has been removed, much better with no door. Needed slight adjustment on entry door latch. Seemed like door had to be slammed to close, removed factory striker place and installed a flat one from the hardware store. No other issues I can think of. Would highly recommend KZ Durango HT 232MLD. Best feature about this floor plan is that you can get to everything without putting any slides out. Awesome unit for overnight Walmart or Cracker Barrel stops. Exactly what I wanted this floor plan for. Show less

I’ve owned four 5th wheels over the years and the 231RK has provided me the best experience. My first two units were monsters, big and stressful to pull. Trying to find an adequate space to park and camp and having a truck large enough to pull it were downsides for me. I’m a good driver, but as I get older I don’t want to be driving and pulling large vehicles anymore. The 231RK in my opinion is a perfect size for my wife and I to travel. It pulls like a dream and I can easily do that with my F150! We can unhook and still have a convenient vehicle to drive around the local area. For those who like 5th wheels but want something more manageable for traveling, I recommend checking this out. We have found that vacationing and seeing the country has worked better for us and we can get camping spots much easier with the 231RK. It has everything we need to enjoy our time adventuring around the country! Show less

We love our 311th10 K-Z Sporterster. It is a very light 5th wheel that is easy to tow, has a great garage that we put our harley davidson trike in. The recliners are comfortable and we have a good amount of storage inside and outside. Exterior is in really nice shape and quality is real good. It is nice to travel with and we have had no issues with it. Show less

Bought our KZ Durango 290RLT new in 2021 have had it up and down the East Coast and literally have had zero issues zero problems. Nothing broke nothing Luz nothing failed. Can’t believe how well this Durango was built. I also give a lot of credit to the RV dealer, we purchased it from for going over it before we purchased it and making sure everything was 100% would recommend Casey and the Durango line to anyone in the market owned a brand new Forest River fifth wheel before RJZ and had nothing but heartache and problems with that unit and after a year and a half had to get rid of it Show less

We have owned this unit for 12 years and it is a great unit. All the slides still work. Everything is still functioning. We have had to have no major work on this unit. There’s plenty of storage. It’s very livable. This unit sleeps eight people with the ability to take the storage above the garage and turn that into a bunk so three full-size beds, a queen bed and a sleeper loveseat. Fantastic quality, craftsmanship and design. We have no problems with the operation, mechanicals or construction of our KZ Durango. With a two year warranty the manufacturer stands behind their product. Solid plywood flooring, hardwood cabinetry and solid surface counter tops. Residential style appliances and comfortable seating make this an easy choice when it comes to selecting the best. Show less

We Love our 2021 KZ Durango we ordered it from the factory in 2020 during the pandemic. We ordered so we could get all the options that we wanted. We like the build quality I think it’s a well built Rv . For its price point . we like the floor plan and love the bathroom with it s double vanity. It tows great behind my 2018 Ram 3500. I love the fact that it has huge holding tanks. Plenty of freshwater. We ordered it with the residential refrigerator however it only has a 1200 W inverter so when Boondocking it is hard to keep the batteries charged up just purchased new set a batteries yesterday hope they will work for us better than the batteries that came with. I wished it would have had a 2000 W inverter and heavier duty RV Batteries . Also thing I’m not happy with is the decals peeling off the front of could have them better job on their decals. all in all, we really couldn’t be much happier. It’s definitely the nicest RV we’ve ever owned however it is plenty big getting into smaller campsites. It is 40 feet long. The factory says it is 3710, but I measured it and put a cover on it and it is 40 feet long so it is plenty big. I was really happy. It has a receiver hitch on it with wiring so we can tow a utility trailer which a lot of fifth wheels do not are not set up for towing with lights so that was a nice option they have.. One other thing like to mention is it has tons of storage. Show less

This RV is perfect for long term living, or weekend excursions. We purchased it to live in while we were building our home and it is the perfect floor plan complete with every element to make that experience possible and comfortable for every season. The mid bedroom is perfect for kids room or an office. With an additional queen size bed in the loft above . It has been very well maintained Show less

We love this 2024 floor plan and the features that it comes with. Unfortunately, it was VERY poorly designed and assymbled at the factory and Thor/KZ will not make it right on this brand new fifth wheel! The KZ representative is very snotty to me and to the dealership where we are trying to get this unit back to the condition that it should have been in when delivered! 1. The on demand water heater leaked like a fire hose! 2. The 2 sliding doors between the bath and BR fall off every time we travel! 3. The sliding king size bed falls apart! 4. A wheel hub fell off on our first trip! 5. NUMEROUS fit and finish issues and lack of quality! If Thor/KZ would just not be such rude jerks and fix what they should fix, we would be happy. Appearently, Thor/KZ does not opperate how most businesses do. Even the dealership is amazed! Show less
