** BUYER BEWARE ** To ANYONE looking to purchase a KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL, please BEWARE!! We have experienced our THIRD CATASTROPHIC SUSPENSION FAILURE on our Keystone Montana 3790RD 5th wheel which involved the leaf springs snapping for the THIRD time, which then caused the second axle on the unit to be forcefully jammed up into the the chassis causing significant damage to the underbelly of our unit, along with CUTTING OUR BREAK LINES causing us to lose the brakes on our trailer while going down an overpass on a highway. We have been informed by the repair shop that we are EXTREMELY lucky there was not a fatality and that if they repair it, the chances of it happening again are EXTREMELY high and just a matter of time until there is a fatality with the unit. We tried reaching out to Keystone RV and Thor Industries via letter, and all we received was an extremely rude call from the VP of Service Operations, Garrett Carolis, telling us our request for assistance was not warranted and that our letter was an "extremely unrealistic expectation and will not happen." He also said that Keystone RV will NOT financially assist in anyway and that we are "absurd" for even asking. Keystone is also fully aware that I had a PICC line in my arm for IV medication and we were stranded on the side of the road for over 6 hours because of their manufacturing defects. We are still stranded, and have been for almost 2 weeks, in the town we were passing through when the incident happened because the repairs are now up to $10,000 and with the safety warning of taking it back on the road, we are extremely concerned. We just want to make sure ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL is aware of what happened to us and the absolute NIGHTMARE we are dealing with because of the terrible manufacturing of our KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL. Please travel safe y'all.

We bought this 42 ft. Fifth wheel brand new at Camper World Riverton Utah. I bought every warranty and extended warranty I could get because I know the quality of most of them. What I didn't realize is that if you need any warranty work it needs to go to the dealer and sit for days or weeks to get a repair and your stuck in a hotel. Even with the DIY program couldn't be any worse for the customer. Our main electrical 50 amp cord shorted out and burned and melted the connection on a Sunday. I went to the hardware store and bought a new plug to get us going. The camper World asked for pictures which I had taken before removal and showed all the damage it caused only to get denied my claim because I didn't bring it in. After calling in a couple of other issues we had and being told it had to come into the dealer I just gave up. We're retired and don't beat our stuff but this rv is no better than the bottom of the line as far as I can tell we spent over $100000. and I couldn't be more disapointed. Our heater is now going out at least the bearings are squeeling. Looking back I would not have bought the best one on the lot (according to my sales snake) and bought something much less and just planned to fix it. I would have saved a ton of money. It pulls good and we like the layout the trim falls off the ceiling after we have towed it for a while so I have been repairing this as we go and it also leaks when we get a solid rain. I wanted to show the wiring under the rig. There is NO pride in the workat all!

Small items to note. Heat in bedroom works best if bathroom door is open as bedroom only has one heat vent. Overhead vents need an extension wand to open and close vents as they are very high up on ceiling. No towel storage in bathroom and only 1 light above mirror making it hard to put on makeup per wife. Smart tv is a pain to get it to connect to cable or antenna. They should add an awning to the rear door area just like the front door. Expanding ladder for rear bed the step is angled wrong making it hard on your feet. Small table for end of couch should be angled cut on one side so it would swivel when getting up. Overall build quality and layout work well. Very happy with our purchase and this is our 3rd Keystone camper. This review is based on 30-day ownership and 2 camping trips.

Full size fridge for keeping snacks for the kids, a nice little electric fireplace in the living room, and a wonderful king size bed for me to get away from the kids at night. Haven't had any issues out of the camper during the over 3 years we have owned it.

Bought this rv April 4th within a week we noticing bugs springtails had extermination and still at this time we are finding them in all areas of rv. Dealer ignores my concerns and Keystone customer support says not there fault . But noone in campground has them and within 10 ft from us. 2nd issues major concerns is when we turn on any vents it pulls dust dirt and pollution from outdoors into our living space also through our silverware drawers and cabinets. Whole storage area is exsposed to underbelly. And all drawers and cabinets exsposed to that. Under cabinets are no back walls just cut out to storage area. We had several leaks. Slides have air coming through along with dust. Construction dust is throughout floor vents storage area and gets pulled through with air and we have been sick with eyes dry throat coughing and Noone will fix these issues. Seals cut too short where dust coming into living space. Odor throughout this camper is terrible and we concerned about our health.

We've never had an issue with it but saw a Keystone Cougar 24rds model that had a u shaped dinette. The rv is about 2ft longer and will accommodate our adult daughter sleeping in the dinette. We purchased this one and now need to find a new home for our other one. Nice rv!

We have loved our RV. We had an adult child staying with us and he was very comfortable in the Bonus Room. When he no longer stayed with us we turned that room into an office and makeup room. Perfect! Lots and lots of room (for a camper) and TONS of storage! We did have some issues with the frame but that was easily rectified and we were back on the road. Very easy to tow with our F350. Few little camper issues with trim etc but nothing more glue can't fix. This has been a great camper for us!

We've owned this RV for 3 years and bought it from the original owners that were full-time campers, so it's gotten good use and it's held up really well (with good maintenance). We have loved the comfort, the systems work well and repairs have been minor and mostly preventive, and in line with expectations. The layout is ideal for a couple or small family to live in close quarters without crowding: separate bathroom sinks and cabinets and a full standup shower; twin theater seats and a full sleeper sofa; the living area is in the rear and the bedroom is in the front, with a spacious king bed and full closet. There are 3 slide-outs to expand the space inside. Ours has awnings over the slides that keep the tops clean and protected. The kitchen has a full pantry with motion light and an island sink for valuable counter space. It has a large oven and cooktop with full-size microwave and a full-size residential refrigerator that's way better than the "RV refrigerators." There's a lot of storage room in the main pass-through bay underneath, and more in the front. A 2" hitch is on the rear for bikes or cargo. The High Country model has enclosed water and waste tanks with heaters and a robust gas furnace. There is a heat pump AC in the bedroom that cools and warms, and a conventional AC unit in the living room. The water heater can operate on gas or electric power. An electric fireplace in the living room adds warmth and mood on chilly nights. The trailer tows great with my diesel RAM. The pinbox does the job to keep the ride smooth, and the trailer brakes are reliable. I bought the unit out of warranty, but Keystone has been good about remote support when I've called with a question.
