Great Layout, but 3 Years Later, the Quality is a Major Disappointment Rating: ⭐⭐/5 The Good: We have owned our 2021 Trail Runner 211R for three years. The floor plan is great and the large rear window is a standout feature that makes the living area feel bright and open. It’s exactly the kind of design that makes you want to buy it on the spot. The Reality (Poor Craftsmanship Everywhere): This trailer is used only by my husband and myself. Given how lightly it has been used, the amount of structural and cosmetic failure we are seeing is unacceptable. We are very disappointed in the overall craftsmanship: Wallpaper & Trim: The wallpaper is crinkled at the windows and peeling at the edges. The trim pieces throughout were cut too short, leaving visible gaps. Walls & Cabinets: The paper laminate on the cupboard doors is peeling, and wall panels are separating from where they were stapled to the studs. We even have staples popping out of the wall seams. Electrical & Tech: There is a random HDMI cord sticking out of the kitchen wall that connects to nothing. Additionally, a "TV Mount" sticker was placed between the dining and kitchen areas, but there is no actual mounting board behind the wall in that space. Mechanical & Structural: The heater is unreliable and frequently stops, requiring us to cycle the system to get it to restart. When standing in the shower, you can feel that there isn't a hard, solid base underneath the entire bottom. Furniture: The factory mattress is not comfortable at all and had to be replaced almost immediately. Final Verdict: The layout lured us in, but the execution is poor. For a trailer used only by two adults, these issues should not exist. If we had seen these quality problems beforehand, we would have purchased something different. We do not recommend this unit for anyone looking for long-term durability.

It was love at first site for the wife and I. After 30 years in a tent we were ready to finally make the jump. What a disappointment!! While it looked great, had very nice options like a "big" fridge, nice bathroom and lot's of storage it turned out to be made so cheap it's no even funny. Roof leaked so many times I must have used at least 6 tubes of Docal. Then the rain would come in from the air conditioning. The electronic board sucks energy way more than what other campers told us. I'm 5 feet 10" and the bed is not long enough. The toilet started leaking after 2 years. Most screws screw into 1/8 cheap wood so it's easy for them to get loose. And I could go on. We spent over $4000 on repairs that should not have happened Not choosing a trailer with comfortable seating when it rains for a couple of days was another mistake. Don't count on the kitchen seating for that, and one bench became loose because.... the wood with the screws is not thick enough to have any structural support. There are smaller trailers out there that have more inside space and are better built.

This RV was a nightmare from the beginning. The dealership, Camping World, charged 1200$ for a prepping fee. Al lthe did was plug the unit in and open the slide outs. They didnt remove the pencil marks from the manufacturer, didnt put the sliding door on the rails from the master bedroom, didnt fill the propane tanks, and when my wife opened the outdoor kitchen, the refrigerator fell on her! The cheap tires, of course, blew out on the highway when I had the entire family out of a cross country vacation with it. I called the Good Sams insurance that came with the unit, and they left us high and dry in the middle of Jackson Mississippi at 11pm with a blown tire. I ended up having to rig the trucks jack and fix it myself. The furnace eats propane like its a crack addict. makes all sorts of noise. you can hear when your unit furnace kicks on from across the RV park. We are stuck with the loan on it, which Im sure Heartland doenst care, but please for the love of everything holy, do NOT buy this RV!

This is the first rv manufacturer to offer the side deck as well as the rear deck. The side deck sets this rv apart from all others. You can easily stay dry during rain and yet still be outside. This rv is well built and easy to travel with two or three couples since it has two full bathrooms. It is long and heavy so towing should only be completed using a dually for better stability. We have enjoyed this rv for several years and haven't seen any floor plans to match it's livability.

The king size bed was the main point in getting this particular RV because it’s what we are used to at home. I would recommend it as a first timer as well as for experienced travelers.

We've owned the Heartland Pioneer RD210 for over 2 years. On the first trip we noticed issues. The panel under the sink came apart, the vinyl covering the walls started to peel and the trim under the fridge was swelling. Since that time We've had all kinds of issues. We couldn't get the battery to charge (they never tightened the nuts on the connection from the battery), We've had a pipe collapse because they mounted the pump to close to a joint and it crimped. Then we had several leaks just because they never tightened up the connectors. We had a Jayco for over 20 years and didn't have a quarter of the problems We've had with this Heartland.
