First Class A DP we've owned. Took a few 7-14 trips the 1st year as we learned the ins and outs. Made a punch list and took to the mfg factory service and they fixed everything on the list, almost. Had one intermitent electrical issue that I finally traced down to a bad connector. We now been "living" in it for the last 6 months and it truly feels like living in a luxe home, but a little smaller. Home theatre with recliners, full sized french door refrigerater, induction cooktop, king size bed, 2 bathrooms, sleep up to 9. Lots of storage space.

Extremely large living space when deployed, as the kitchen slide is directly opposite the almost full length slide that the dinette, couch, bunks, and master bed ride on. Very comfortable to have even several families in and out of the RV at a campground, while adults are doing meal prep and kids are playing games and changing and running around. Appliances and furnishings are nothing fancy but have proven very trustworthy, and between interior and storage bay area it's easy to live for months with everything needed for many different climates. Bunks are a bit small for a full grown adult but perfect for our family of four. Even when closed up and going down the road there's enough space so nobody has to get in anyone else's way... even the dog.

We live in Colorado so wanted a diesel pusher to make it up mountain roads without being stuck in the slow lane. This is our home away from home. With three slide outs, this RV is very comfortable to relax inside with the family on a rainy day and not be on top of each other. Decent size closet and drawers in master bedroom for longer trips. The sliding door for the bedroom allows for privacy from guests sleeping in the main area. Two bathroom sinks are helpful. The shower is roomy for larger sized adults. Adults sleep comfortably on the queen size pull out couch mattress that air inflates and is surrounded by a quilted, zip close, mattress cover. The dining room table folds down to sleep two more guests. The kitchen has lots of counter space and cabinets to make preparing meals easy. The two air conditioning units worked fantastic when we camped a Lake Powell in 100 degree weather. Storage down under is made easy with sturdy roll out units. The motorized awning is awesome for eating outside, protected from the sun and rain. We have many happy memories of camping trips to Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, and Yosemite in our RV. One of our friends gave it the nickname "The Starship Enterprise." We have certainly explored the world's beyond!

We have had this RV for about 4 years and it has been amazing for our family of 5. There is plenty of room inside with 2 slide-outs, one being the living room which opens up the interior space significantly and the other being the bedroom which I would say is very spacious in RV terms. Bedroom has a kind size bed which is great for couples along with tons of storage space above the bed. Bathroom has a skylight which makes it have a very open feel. This coach also have a residential style refrigerator which is amazing....my old RV has a 12v/gas fridge that always gave me trouble and only worked when you were perfectly leveled....no more...this one runs off 110v inverter which comes from the factory and gets cold in 20 minutes after you turn it on. We love it. There is an ONAN generator that works to power the air conditioner and microwave while you drive and uses very little fuel from what we noticed. We have been to Florida in the middle of summer twice and the A/C kept everyone cool(even cold) at night while camping. There is a powered queen size platform bed that lowers from above the ceiling in front of the coach and retracts when you're ready to hit the road again. The dining table turns into a sleeping space for 2 kids and so does the jackknife sofa right next it it. Overall, it sleeps up to 8 ppl comfortably. The coach is built on a Ford chassis with a new 7.3L V8 which has more power and drives fantastic...we put over 20k miles on this this it's a true pleasure....we set the cruise control to 70 and just enjoy the views from a huge windshield. Overall, we love this RV and kids are asking if they can use it when they grow up. I think Fleetwood knocked it out of the park with this one.

This RV was my second one after having a smaller RV. With double slide outs and the split layout makes it seem like a small apartment rather than a studio on wheels. I lived in it full time for 17 years and was quite content. Upgrading the refrigerator from the factory 6.0 cu. ft. to a store bought 9 cu. ft. really made a difference. The water heater is a bit small in my opinion (6 gl.), but you learn to be conservative with the hot water usage. Handles well on the road and no real problems with a towed vehicle.

Our 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G has been an outstanding motorhome for our family, offering both comfort and reliability. We’ve taken it around the US for the past year, and it has consistently provided a smooth and enjoyable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the Discovery 40G made us feel at home. The spacious living area is perfect for our family, with ample room for everyone to relax. The seating is not only stylish but incredibly comfortable, and the layout allows for a great flow of space—whether we're lounging in the living area, preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or winding down in the master suite. The large windows bring in plenty of natural light and offer amazing views while traveling, making long drives more pleasant. Plus, the adjustable seating and high-quality mattresses have ensured restful nights, making us feel as though we’re staying in a luxury hotel on wheels. What truly sets the 40G apart is its reliability. We’ve traveled far and wide in this coach, and it has handled everything with ease. The powerful diesel engine has plenty of power for both the open road and any inclines, while the smooth ride and stability of the chassis make driving and parking stress-free. We have also towed our Honda CRV without issue. The coach is so powerful, you can't even feel the car back there. The built-in technology, including the navigation system and backup camera, has always performed flawlessly, and maintenance has been minimal. The coach has proven to be durable, and we’ve never had any significant issues, making it a true “set it and forget it” experience. The 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G comes packed with excellent features that elevate the RV experience. The outdoor entertainment area with a large awning has been perfect for family gatherings, and the full-size refrigerator, convection microwave, dishwasher and ample counter space in the kitchen make preparing meals easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the HVAC system keeps us comfortable year-round, and the bathroom and shower have more than enough space for a motorhome of its size. We can confidently say that the 2016 Fleetwood Discovery 40G has been a fantastic investment. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and reliability, making it ideal for families like ours. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded, luxurious motorhome.

Great model with ample room and great amenities. The design is not only beautiful but the floor plan makes living in it a joy. Beautiful colors, tile and solid surfaces counters. Love the built in washer and dryer and the dual mode vacuum flush that allows for more or less water usage by merely depressing the lever for ten seconds to switch between levels. The shower is great and we’ve never run out of hot water even after we both used it. When closed up while traveling you have ample room to move around. I love that it has a stainless steel residential full refrigerator and freezer. The two reclining seats are a must for kicking back in the evening and are comfortable enough to sleep in. The table converts easily to a desk for ease of laptop use. I love the under counter ambient lighting. The king size bed tilts up for a more comfortable sleep. It comes with a locking drawer for your valuables and the overhead is equipped for a c pap machine if needed. There’s plenty of storage and closet space. We lived in ours for four months with no issues. There were a few things that needed repaired immediately. A headlight wire harness that was bad and a faulty fuel pump on the generator. Both of these were bad from the start and luckily easily fixed through warranty. Even though this is not a diesel it easily towed our trailer with our car and our electric bikes without issues. No problem going through the mountains. My biggest disappointment would be the curtains. Why they put metal at the bottom of all the shades so they click during travel is beyond me. I put padding on all of them to stop this problem. Overall we love this unit and the issues we have had have been dealt with quickly and effortlessly by the manufacturer.

My husband and I bought a 2024 Fleetwood 35K Bounder. Worst decision ever. The dash shakes so badly that you can even talk to each other. The screws are breaking off and falling out. The vent leaked in the bathroom. The mirrors don’t adjust correctly. The motor sounds like it is going blowup. So so loud. The wipers fell down while going down the road. The bedroom wall bows out. Not secure. Pros would be the living arrangement. Very doable for a family but with everything else that has gone wrong, that is just not enough. I can’t believe anyone buys a Bounder if they are like this one. And we bought it from Motor Home Specialist in Alvarado Texas and that has been a disaster too. We tried to get them to fix everything and even though the motorhome is under a year old and under factory warranty, it still cost us $2000 since everything was basically our fault. Their answer to the dash’s shaking was Velcro!!!!!!!! lol!! I have never been so disappointed in such a large purchase in my life. We will take a loss on this piece of junk and upgrade to a Tiffin or Entegra diesel for sure. Should have done that first but hind sight is 20-20. If you think you want a diesel, wait until you get one. And don’t ever buy from motorhome specialists in Alvarado Texas and/ or buy a piece of junk gas burner like this Bounder.
