ENTEGRA COACH ACCOLADE XL reviews

We purchased our Accolade new in July of 2024. We loved the floor plan and the two year warranty. We spent our winter months in Florida and Hilton Head, about 100 days overall. Our coach is designed beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. That being said, we had several issues that occurred, as most people tell you to expect with a new coach. Our first issue happened when my wife, who is not a big woman, was reclining on the sofa. We heard a pop and the footrest wouldn’t retract. After I got underneath I found a piece of metal had broken in two. I was able to force the footrest closed and we just didn’t use it the rest of the trip. The next issue occurred one morning when we noticed a hairline crack in the front bathroom window, on the side of the Coach. We noted the issues , obvious warranty claims, and made an appointment to have them repaired at home. Imagine our surprise when Entegra denied both claims, saying we had damaged the sofa, and they to know how the window cracked. The explanation is simple - side windows in parked areas that are not chipped occur from poor installation. They didn’t accept that. Two things opened our eyes. The cost to replace the sofa I $6,400 without freight and installation. The second is the customer has nothing to say in the warranty process. They only deal with the dealer. I have no one at Entegra to be my advocate. The dealer pretty much eluded to the cost of the sofa being an issue. My point here is the famous two year warranty is not worth considering when you buy. Assume you are on your own when you buy from them. Show less

We’ve been going on dispersed camping trips none stop since purchasing this rig a year ago. We had to upgrade a few things to make dispersed camping realistic. 1) 800w Solar, 2) 600ah lithium battery bank and 3) SnapPads. After these upgrades, the rig performs VERY well. The battery recharge rate averages around 45ah through the day. The genny will push that rate to around 75ah. Pretty quick recharge rate overall. Powertrain Performance - The PowerStroke engine and 10 speed TorqueShift transmission is AMAZING! I cruise up mountain roads towing my rzr/utility trailer (4k pounds). The engine brake is solid as well. The only wish I have is a larger fresh water tank. 75 gallons would be ideal. The current 60 gallon capacity is doable for a week but you have to practice. ;) Quality has been solid so far. A couple loose screws but that’s to be expected. We are currently living in our 35L while we transition. It’s my wife and I with two cats. No complaints at all with the spacing or appliances. Show less

We have only owned our 2024 Entegra Vision XL 36C for 3 months and taken two 7-9 day trips. Love the floorplan, it is almost perfect for us. Love: King size bed, bath and half, storage (inside and out), CCC, fireplace heater, cabinet above fireplace, electric recliners, 50" Smart TV on lift, electronic control panel and lighting, ice maker in full size fridge, storage in half bath, oven, Farmhouse interior, and comfortable seating in cab. Dislikes: Larger size makes it more challenging to drive/park/get gas, tight with slides in, not full body paint, lack of storage in bedroom wardrobe and kitchen (but panty in kitchen makes up for it), there isn't an electric reel for power cord. We have been wanting a super C for soooo long and when we finally made our dream a reality we were so happy!! The price point was good for us but remember u do get what u pay for! Driving it was horrible!!! We had to put an $$ steering stabilizer in it to keep from being whipped around on the road due to big 18 wheelers and wind. We also put MUCH better shocks on, which was $$$$, but both these things made a huge difference in driving. The cockpit chairs had to be replaced because the arm rests were literally unusable, not adjustable. We also had the couch removed and put in 2 theater seats. Couch was extremely uncomfortable! And starting to wear in less than 2 yrs. House batteries died this past May, had them replaced and it happens again this October so we re placed them this time with Lithium batteries, $$$$$$!!!!! The master bedroom door is off the tracks and will need to be fixed, we’ve had issues with one of the toilets, water heater and have a list of warranty items that we will be taking it in soon before the warranty is up. And literally so type this review out rig is being towed to the Freightliner place in Lubbock, TX. We’re on our way back home without our rig. The generator has quit working as will so that has to be fixed. The list is endless. We LOVE Super Cs, just not this one! I would NOT recommend the Entegra Accolade at all, if u can afford it but the Newmar Superstar, r have talked with several people who have had them and everyone says they have never any had a punch list!! But get ready to pay an additional $250k. Show less

I would definitely stay far away from anything. Jayco makes as their customer service is horrendous. All of their warranty service is horrendous. I’ve had missing parts since the day I bought my RV and cannot get it repaired properly by any of their certified dealers because they don’t want to pay the proper amount to fix it a ton of paint flaws and issues a ton of interior issues which most of been resolved but they’re not willing to do anything with the body issues Show less

I hope this post will help others avoid the disasters I have been through. I will try to keep it short, but I could write a book about my experiences with this MH. First I want to say by profession I have been a Corporate Jet Technician for over 40 years meaning I need to be able to troubleshoot and repair all the systems on sophisticated Jets. I purchased a brand new 2023 Entegra Reatta XL 39BH in June from General RV Center in Ashland VA. This dealership only cared about receiving their money for nothing in return. The person who was suppose to show me around the MH knew nothing about the coach! I asked him very simple questions and he did not know any of the answers. This caused problems for me since the MH does not come with a manual. That's right Spartan ships you the manual weeks after you receive the MH and Entegra did not have any 2023 manuals and still don't till this very day! I was emailed a 2022 manual days later after complaining to Entegra. How can you not provide a manual with a product?There are differences between a 2022 & 2023 models. Getting back to General RV Center. I asked if the Diamond coating was applied to the MH because to me it did not feel as if it was. The person I asked looked through the paperwork and came back and said it was not applied. I told her that I paid for it. An hour later I was told that it was indeed applied, hmm. The finance manager came to me to let me know that he could not honor my locked in interest rate because of the rising rates. I asked him what part of locked in do you not understand. More to that story if someone wants to know. I rented a car one way to Ashland. I needed to return the car about 10 minutes away and asked the dealership if someone could pick me up from the rental car facility and they said no they did not have anyone that could do that!! In 2019 I purchased a 2017 Newmar Ventana from Midway RV center in Grand Rapids. What a difference, the person who showed me around that MH knew everything about it and they were always there if needed. So, through all that i am still excited and drove my new MH home the next morning. On the way home I discovered that the generator will only run for about 10 min and quit. When I got home I discovered that it was shutting down due to overheating. After trouble shooting it on my own (no help from General RV and Cummins has not returned a call from me or Entegra till this day!) I found that the cooling system was air locked, so that was an easy fix. Then after getting the generator to run I discovered that none of the AC units would come on line. After trouble shooting with Entegra and changing a control panel I discovered that it was wired wrong from the factory! This really pissed me off because they didn't check this on a check list before leaving the factory??? Please note that if I wasn't able to do this myself the local service centers were 4-6 weeks out before they would look at it. So, I said to myself I better get under this MH and give it a good looking over. I was shocked in what I found. Loose wires hanging down, wire bundles being held up by single wires, missing insulation, trim pieces falling off, loose latches and more! If this was an aircraft it would have been grounded! I know I was a fool for not doing this before taking it home, but I thought Entegra was a reputable company. Speaking of which, in my opinion the all around quality and finish of Newmar was hands down far superior to Entegra. I drove my Newmar for one year and 10,000 and had only one minor problem. Also, in my opinion you are better off buying a used MH that has the bugs rung out, and once out of warranty you can have anyone work on it! A few days later we left on our first trip planning to go from SC to PA and then on to Lake George NY. On the morning leaving PA upon getting on the highway the transmission started to act abnormal. I pulled off the highway and pulled into a gas station. I shut it down hoping to reset the MH and when I tried to start it again it would not start because the MH thought that the transmission was in drive. So, after speaking with Spartan and trying various things it was determined that it had to be towed to a service center. The tow was arranged through Coach-Net. So, after two days and four different towing companies (I am not kidding) my new MH was towed to a service center who said that they would get on it that afternoon or by the latest the next morning. It was towed to a Freightliner dealer because there was no Spartan dealers near by. So, there it sat for 4 days while my wife, grandkids, and my dogs stayed in a hotel before anyone ever looked at. I don't know why this service center said that they would look at it immediately and then did not. After 5 days it was determined to tow my new MH from Lancaster PA to Harrisburg. In my mind the problem had to be the transmission brain box or the controller at the drivers seat. I begged Spartan to send me the parts and I would swap them out but t Show less

Bought our retirement present after 22 years in the Army and 15 years working civilian service. Thought we were going to the country and see what we have been protecting. We first took a three day trip to the Kern River where we can back with a laundry list of items that needed the dealers attention. The steps would not retract under the main door. We also noticed that when we were driving down the road our seats, front driver and passengers were rocking. Come to find out the were no nuts on the bolts to keep the seats in place. We also had a problem with the hydraulic stabilizers they would not retract all the way up, when we took it in they had to wait three months for the factory to send the replacement part. This has been going on since we bought the coach. We had to take it to Freightliner for a check engine light that would not go off. This was in February and they said that Jayco was responsible for the bill because they let it set in their lot causing the filter system to rust. Trying to turn it in and Jayco said that this is a good coach. Wow i wonder what they consider a bad coach. We have been looking and watching the freeways here in California have noticed that there are none on the road here I wonder way that is. The bottom line if this is the way Jayco treats soldiers that have served I wonder if any of served? Show less

We use to own a bus type before, on the road they move a lot, the Entegra Accolade is a charm on the road, doesn't move when you pass a big truck or windy, feel very safe, we need to sell for personnel reason We like everything about it, the confort, a lot of storages, very well built. Great looking RV Show less

If you plan to buy an Entegra, don't!!! We've had it for 30 days now and here is a list of the items that have been faulty from day one: 1) Manifold over torqued from factory, dumped hydraulic fluid down our street 2) Both AC units went out 3) Equalizer jacks panels went out twice 4) Trim above door fell on husbands head 5) King sized mattress is poorest quality we've ever seen, also king mattress in a queen sized space 6) After driving 13 hours, the bed would not function at all, and thus neither would the slideout 7) Back Bathroom window came off its track 8) Drawer under stove top kept opening on its own while driving 9) House batteries keep failing and have continued to 10) Back bathroom door has a screw protruding somewhere in the wall which gouges the door 11) The exterior door to the motor home itself is hard to open and close 12) Several of the new keys to the unit were bent from day one 13) Paint on unit was poorly done and numerous nicks on the unit This is just within the first 30 days, we have no idea what to expect next! We want to take a trip to North Carolina and Pennsylvania but we're afraid it won't make it! We've owned 2 other motor homes and 2 towable trailers, and the trailers were much better quality than this piece of crap. For the money that not only us but everyone else on here is out their money just like we are. Entegra needs to be held accountable. We all need to band together and go to the BBB, Better Business Burea. We will be sending this list to them on behalf of us, and the more people that send their lists will hopefully cause Entegra to become accountable for their poorly made units!
