🚨Warning: Major Design Flaws & Zero Accountability from East to West RV re Della Terra 220RBLE🚨 A Useless Plumbing System That Ruins Travel: When purchasing the East to West Della Terra, I expected quality and functionality for its price over $36000. Instead, I discovered a serious plumbing flaw that makes this trailer nearly impossible to use outside of full hookup campsites. Here’s the fundamental problem: # The shower and bathroom sink drain into the black tank instead of the grey tank. # Only the kitchen sink is connected to the grey tank. # This means the black tank fills daily—even with just two occupants—forcing frequent, inconvenient dumps. # The bathroom smells constantly because the plumbing traps don’t stop odors from escaping. # You must run the kitchen sink for an hour just to get enough water in the grey tank to flush the sewer hose properly. 🔴 If you're planning to camp anywhere without a sewer connection, forget it—this trailer IS a complete logistical nightmare. Deceptive Sales Practices & Zero Transparency: At no point during the purchasing process was I informed of this plumbing setup. Had I known, I would have never purchased this trailer. My previous Wilderness RV had a standard plumbing layout that allowed us to camp for an entire week without worrying about tanks filling too quickly. When I reached out to East to West RV, hoping for a resolution, their OWNER/RELATIONS MANAGER EAST TO WEST, GRACE NEWMAN, sent this DISMISSIVE RESPONSE: "Good morning, The unit is plumbed this way per design as it allows for the specific layout of the unit to be achieved. If you would like to have the plumbing changed, you may, however, it will not be covered by us as this is not a defect." Not only did they refuse to acknowledge the issue, but they also ignored my follow-up email, in which I explained how this plumbing setup makes the trailer functionally useless for many RV travelers. East to West RV Does NOT Stand Behind Its Products This trailer cost over $36,000, yet East to West is washing their hands of responsibility. Their lack of customer service, poor design choices, and refusal to fix a critical usability issue that EAST TO WEST CARES about PROFIT than QUALITY or CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. ✅ If you’re considering an East to West RV, DON’T BUY ONE. ✅ Ask detailed questions before purchasing ANY trailer—especially about plumbing. ✅ East to West does NOT stand behind their product, so don’t expect any help if you run into issues. If you're looking for an RV that is actually usable in real-world camping situations, look elsewhere—because THIS MANUFACTURER, EAST TO WEST DOESN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR BAD DESIGN CHOICES DONE TO MAKE THEM PROFITS AND IS A WASTE OF YOUR GOOD MONEY. 🚐⚠

I purchased this RV (brand new) in April 2024. I tried to use it for the first time on July 9, 2024. (1) the converter was defective (replaced by dealer); (2) microwave was dead (dealer claims to have back ordered a new one); (3) hot water heater was not working - Ca error. After fiddling with both propane tanks, and several days, it finally started working. However, it occasionally stops working. (4) the device indicating the battery/solar status continually gives an E01 error code indicating no charging; (5) the awning motor extends the awning, but fails to retract. I have replaced the motor but it still has difficulty retracting. I have to manually retract about 50% of the way and then the motor will slowly retract the awning. (6) The dealer was initially responsive. Now no calls are returned. I do not know if these problems are due to shoddy construction or lack of quality control before shipping. It is ridiculous that I have a brand new unit that I was taking out on my first trip and was confronted with numerous things that were broken or did not work. I liked the layout of the unit and imagine that if things worked as they were supposed to, it would be well worth it. However, I cannot recommend this unit to anyone.

Worst experience I have ever had when purchasing a new unit. The Dealer is trying to repair the multidute of issues but this unit should have never left the factory in this condition. The Bath sink faucets run water over the counter every time you turn on a faucet. The drawers will not stay closed I have to tape them shut to pull down the road. The shower wand leaks water at the faucets, The Hot Water tank when you turn on the heater runs water out over the entire bathroom floor. The backing to hang the tv mount is not there even though there is a prominent sticker announcing this is where the backing board is The first time emtying the dump tanks the inside of the trailer smells like sewage. The flush line for the blackwater tank runs water onto the floor in the bathroom. All of this was three days after taking delivery. Ruining a 4 day fishing trip. Would not recommend this unit or manufacturer to anyone. We bought a new unit to avoid the problems you might have buying a used Trailer with unknown maintenance

I bought my rv in hopes of having a wonderful place to call home. After looking around at multiple ones, I finally settled on the East to West Della Terra. Advertisements It was spacious enough, but also small enough to really fit my needs. At first, I had an absolutely awful experience with the dealership whom I bought it from. They were nice up until we actually purchased the RV. They were fully aware that my mother is in very poor health. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 of MS. She has been struggling with chronic pancreatitis due to a surgery mishap. They were aware that my family required something reliable for me to be in while I was trying to take care of my mother. It has been an absolute waste of time, effort and money with this rv though. The craftsmanship is incredibly poor, and the quality truthfully is even worse. Everything is falling apart, breaking or just not working. I've contacted people about warranties, and they are never upheld. My year on the warranties is almost up and what a shocker that it took almost a year for so, and I've yet to have the issues solved still. They have a history of the underbelly leaking water and some just outright fall apart while people are driving. Mine is currently leaking, and I refuse to move it because I do not trust it on the road. I feel taken advantage of because I was 23 years old, a female and had a situation where I really needed something. I feel like they saw that and sold me a lemon, thinking I wouldn't fight it too much. Furthermore, I was supposed to have a certain stock number and last second the stock numbers changed. I don't normally overthink those things, but it does seem a little fishy that the one we got has completely started to fall apart. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and if I had the opportunity then I would just give it back and never even attempt this experience ever again. It's truly depressing to see how this all happened and no matter how many times I've reached out so far, I just continuously keep being ignored. When I bought it, I asked for a stain to be cleaned out of the carpet and the salesman told me and I quote You're not buying a Winnebago, so no need to be too picky. I still spent around 40,000 on this rv and deserve just as much respect as the next person. No, I didn't get the most expensive one, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be clean and ready to go when we pick it up. I wouldn't refer Forest River, or the dealership I went to, to anybody, honestly. I can't tell people where to go, of course, but hopefully I can let people know that it is not worth the hassle with these.

We just purchased this travel trailer 3 days ago and upon getting it home and reloading it with our prior 2012 Jayco Eagle travel trailer stuff, we have to say it is a large disappointment. Many of the nice features in our prior travel trailer are not in this one. The Della Terra overall has a nice layout and a large bathroom for us older people. There are conveniences in it that made us decide on it. BUT, the quality of materials and workmanship are lacking. For a family of 5 I can see this travel trailer not lasting very long. Some of the issues we've had so far: 1) Had to remove the fridge doors to adjust the shelves because the door will not open all the way due to layout. 2) Fo leather is inferior and will not last very long. 3) Foam in couch and dinette seats are soft and will not last. 4) No shelves in the kitchen

The RV floorplan is great, comfort is great, and towing the trailer is also no issue. My issue is service after the sale!!! When Forest River (FR) says it stands behind their product, they actually mean they stand behind you as you’re driving off waving good bye and good luck. We purchased our 2021 in April. On our first trip in May the rear emergency window blew out while driving down the road. The trailer had traveled less than 200 miles. I contacted my dealer at Windstar Thackerville and they filed a warranty repair request with FR. After numerous back and forth e-mails, suppling pictures of pulled screws, bent handles in the window frame, FR graciously supplied a new window and shade. “ we can send you a window and latch in goodwill, however we will not cover installation as we do not know for sure if this was manufacturer error or not” (Grace N customer service rep). If FR truly stood behind their products and sent a replacement window and shade “in goodwill” they would also cover the install of the window in a timely manner. It’s my understanding the Della Terra East/West was designed by the presidents of FR daughter to travel from coast to coast, maybe they should throw in a disclaimer that duct tape and plastic is required after the first 150 or so miles to keep your trailer together. I have an e-mail from the service manager at Fun Town saying my warranty work is covered (Oh! And by the way they don’t do windows). More to come!!!
