Dutchmen Coleman Lantern reviews

Since we purchased our 2019 Coleman Dutchman 1705RB camper the IN command operating system touch screen is always going out and we have to call to have a jumpdrive mailed to us to update the system or like now it's completely out and can't be used and will have to manually do everything by hand; to which we hope can be done. The company said we will have to call every time we get to a camping spot to see if they can will be able to help us with the problems we are having, and hopefully we will have cell service to even be able to make a call. Now we have to manually get our slide out, and hopefully we can figure out how to get the water heater turned on along with everything else the command system runs . This is not a system that anybody would want to have in their camper. We have called several different camper companies to see about having it taken out and they said it will cost lots of money and would have to completely rewire the whole camper. I find it hard to believe that this system does not have a recall on it. Show less

Great camper trailer. Very spacious, high quality, and easy to tow. loved taking this to the mountains in Colorado, a lot of found memories. It sleeps up to 10, and it will. We were a family of four and had plenty of space. the water tanks are also large, great for when you are going boondocking! Show less

I bought it new. The refrigerator freezes then thaws everything in freezer and refrigerator. Tried everything nothing fixed it .leak in ceiling not fixed.shower leaked.i fixed it then shower broke, no support under it. Now electric issues. Keeps blowing fuses. Two walls I repaired the fell apart. Not worth the money and no support. Show less

Too many problems to list. Warrenty way to slow to fix anything. Very disappointed with this coach. I thought buying a 2022. I would not have so many problems. I was wrong. Seems to be just thrown together. Show less

I wish we would have looked around more. All the doors are pealing and it's only one year old. Now our AC is not working, The drain spout fell off already, We have been sealing all the outside , around speakers and door it was half gone. Just the worst workman ship. I know it was inexpensive compared to others, but being our first time of owning our own it is so disappointing. Now to call service and see what they can do with the AC. Show less

We are stuck with a Dutchman Coleman model 250tqwe. Do not waste your hard earned money on this RV. Keystone does not back up their product. We have had the front metal panel fall off first time hauling it out. The roof had a leak in it and when it got rained on got water damage to the whole front of the trailer. Oven vent fell off, oven light broke after first use. Outside lights broke. When turning on the heater the air conditioning didn't work. The vent in the back of the trailer rubs the leather couch from poor placement. And to top it off our awning broke after the second use. Yes my trailer was level and no it wasn't windy. And of course keystone will not cover it because they are more interested in taking your money rather than build a product to actually not break. Also was informed keystone is getting more strict about covering a lot of their warranty work. So needless to say if you don't mind paying a lot of money for an unsafe and poorly made trailer by all means this is the RV for you otherwise I would look to a different brand who cares about their customers and quality of RV they are putting on the road.
