Everything about my unit was thrown together using the cheapest materials possible.

Mechanically good: tow hitch, propane tanks, suspension, etc. Although I had to build a new rear bumper because the original was of such light gauge steel it totally buckled after a very slight impact. The "build-out" is of exceedingly poor quality. Virtually all "wood" componets (bed, cabinets, trim, etc.) are low grade and put together with staples. Many staples were not "set" properly and we have been sliced open on exposed staples many times. We have had to replace the water heater 3 times and the very noisy water pump twice. After driving over uneven ground - very slowly in a National Forest campground - the trailer "wracked" (twisted) and now the bathroom door no longer fits its opening and won't close. The fiberglass bath vent hood fell apart after 3 years. So many more things to complain about. The dealer - 120 miles from my home - was of little help.

Our Bayside Elite never required warranty work so I l gave it 5 stars. We bought it new and have been camping with it for 25 years and just can't bring ourselves to sell it even though we have a newer Aliner Expedition. The Aliner takes a few minutes to set up, the Bayside takes over an hour. We take the A Liner on cross-country trips with multiple one night stops and use the Bayside for our weeklong stays at one campground. The Bayside has two comfortable king size beds, and plenty of screens to open so you always have air moving wherever you are in the camper. The slide out dining table is very comfortable for four (we've had six sitting there), the pop out sink and stove work well for cooking and clean-up, the outside stove is potent and boils water very quickly. The interior lights work well and cover the complete floorpan, include the beds. The curtains provide plenty of privacy for each bed. The heater works well; it's always nice to wake up and plant your feet on a warm floor when it's cold outside. It tows easily due to its low height and our Yukon 3.0L diesel gets 19 - 20 MPG pulling it at 70 - 75 MPH (I put 87 MPH rated tires on it so I could drive it at Michigan's 75 MPH speed limits). I follow the Coleman guidelines for annual summer and winter maintenance and everything still works well; the top goes up and down with no issues. The only repairs I've done are fixing an inoperative refrigerator and installing a new axle; I didn't realize we were overloading it when we carried most of our gear for week long camping trips in the camper. I look at new floorpans and don't see anything I like as well as our very reliable and functional Bayside.

Our favorite feature of this RV is the floor plan. It's perfect for a couple, single person or a small family. Although we enjoy our time outdoors, when that's not possible due to the weather, this is the perfect sized camper! The murphy bed can be made as a bed all the time, while there is still a table/booth to sit at to play games, read, watch a movie or eat. By the way, the bed is comfy too! Another feature we like is that the bathroom is accessible while the slide-out is in or out, making it very handy when you need to make a bathroom stop in the middle of nowhere. There's no need to move the slide-out to get to the bathroom. This camper has plenty of storage space inside and outside, with the power stabilizing jacks and power tongue make it easy to set up camp in a jiffy!! The extra sturdy stairs and handle make it a safe feature for anyone coming and going. This camper has been one of our favorite we've owned!!

All the Coleman/Dutchmen engineers got together and asked: “how can we make the cheapest trailer possible, yet still charge a high price”? and so they came up with the 2024 Coleman 18BH. Consensus: Lets scale down the nice Lippert 4,400 lb axle and use a cheaper Terran 4,000 lb. axle. Tinted windows? NO, too expensive. Windows? 2 should be enough, although you get NO cross through ventilation (as they’re NOT on opposite sides) Storage? Empty spaces under kitchen countertop that SHOULD have doors or drawers (unusable voids)- HUGE space under bunkbed you cannot access, unusable, should have had a door to the outside. (too expensive) The so-called “couch” is too short for a normal person (VERY uncomfortable) and the cushions on couch AND dinette are hard as a rock. General storage capacity? Not enough for even One person. The radio (no cd player!! Really?) and the speakers are about the cheapest on the market. The 3rd time I opened the cap for the electric plug-in, it broke. Any pros? To be fair, a good size refrigerator, but it runs on DC only, so you BETTER have solar panels if you are ever to boondock. The bathroom is tight, but that’s expected in an 18ft trailer. This is my 4th trailer so I KNOW what I’m talking about. Good luck.

The main issue with any trailer is take care of your stuff and it will take care of you. I bought this trailer new from camping world in ft Myers Florida, although they weren’t the best, they did accomplish the few issues that I requested ie the electoral connection had slight tear in cable, replaced.

Absolute junk, we were given this trailer as a gift, knowing what it cost brand new I cannot believe the poor quality of basically everything about it. I know the complete history of this trailer since new and it has only been taken on the road 6 times in 10 years and had never had the water tank used , upon filling the tank the supports immediately bent and snapped , they had been put in crooked and un-level not to mention the fact that four 1/4" pieces of aluminum angle were supposed to support 500 lbs of water. When I removed the belly pan to repair the tank the pan was full of left over garbage from the factory( wire, insulation scraps, vinyl scraps from the floor penetrations etc.) I would be ashamed to say I worked at this factory. Also Coleman's "K2" insulation package is a joke, nothing but very thin insulation around the pipes, no insulation in the belly itself and a thin piece of corrugated plastic screwed to the frame. Overall extremely poor workmanship and quality of materials. Had I been shopping for a trailer this never would have made the cut.
