This coachman is so wind resistant, when i first bought it in my travels home 10 hrs away I could not exceed 45 mph as it was being literally blown off the interstate by wind and big trucks . The suspension is so hard and stiff every pump , dip or pot hole makes the entire rig sound like the shocks are just bottoming out metal to metal and everything thing in the coach jars to the extreme driver and passenger bounces in the air .. also the quality is the worst , the TV stopped working from being shook do bad , the awning has shaken the pins out the arms , the awning also has 2 small holes in it . The roof vent in the bathroom doors rain in a down poor. I could go on but I'll stop i think I've given enough to warn others not to buy this model . I hate this coach ?, I bought new in dec 2024 , its a 2025 year model with 10k miles . It is the worst coach i fear some older couple buying this thing and heaven forbid the disaster that could befall them , I'm stuck with it but please don't buy this coach .

Summer of 2024 I drove this Coachman Mirada from Ohio to South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky & back to Ohio. This 5,500 mile trip took 6 weeks. My wife & I took our two adult sons & their two daughters on this trip. The sons stayed 2 weeks each and our grandchildren stayed the entire trip with summer break from school. We had enough sleeping quarters for 8 and did not feel crowded. The RV took the Rocky Mountains like Grant took Richmond. The power in the Ford 5500 V10 6.7 liter engine was impressive. The cruising speed of 75 was smooth as silk. Having a gas engine we were purchasing fuel at over a dollar fifty per gallon less than the cost of Deisel saving us a lot of money on fuel.

Was advised there is also an open recall on the brakes. Dodge claim adviser tells me the only dealers that can fix are 5 hours away! I live in Maryland with access to Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, but West Virginia, seriously?I so regret the purchase.

I am very disappointed by many things but at the top of the list is the induction cook top. They are horrible and any manufacturer that continues to use them is doing their customers a disservice. Had I know what I was getting I wouldn't have bought this unit based solely on that alone. Also the Tecma high flush toilets use way too much water. The list goes on........ 2019 Coachman Sportsman 409B. Bought used in 2021/4000 miles.

The quality of this RV is appalling. Doors falling off, hot water heater issues, a/c issues, TV fell off the wall, water leaks, Coach battery issues, poor wiring management and I can go on. Getting the dealer in Alvarado TX () to fix anything is impossible. Not one item I took it back for was repaired by the dealer although they kept if off and on for 8 months! Some of these items were found prior to leaving the lot when purchased. They said “take it out and use it for a couple weeks and find any issues and bring it back and we will take care of it”. Hot water heater issue was biggest issue in the beginning. They said we will order one and when you come back we will replace it. When I took it back they said they were back ordered. Sat there for close to three months. Every time I called was told still waiting on parts. There are a lot of dealers in my area so I started calling asking if they had my model number heater in stock. Of the four I called all but one didn’t have one in stock. They said they could get one in a few days. They called Dometic and verified stock. Called my dealer back and asked them and was told the same thing. None in stock. After all of my headaches with this I called coachman customer service. Long story short don’t mess with the dealer! Call the customer service line and work with them. Within a few weeks I had everything fixed. After explaining my frustration about my dealer customer service said they would contact another warranty service dealer and get back to me. Within 20 minutes of hanging up I received a call from QRVS asking me how soon I could bring it in for the repairs. Took it to the the next day. All repairs fixed within two weeks.
