The Coach House Platinum 261XL has been great for us (family of 3). We have owned it for 11 years and the coach looks new, inside and out. The single shell fiberglass construction provides a quite ride on the road and the paint scheme on the outside still looks new. Show less

After a year of research and waiting for the build, we finally picked up our new Coach House Platinum IV 271XL. After the first 1,000 miles I can tell you that our expectations have been surpassed. Our #1 purchasing decision was the overall quality of the build. Coach House RV takes great pride in their build quality and the service they provide to their customers. This is reflected in the commitment and energy that the whole staff showed as we took delivery over multiple days to ensure everything was tested and fixed before we left the Florida-based factory. From the owner, to the sales rep, to the production foreman, to the RV technicians, all were accessible and provided great service. I left with the confidence that I will continue to be able to ask questions as we learn our rig and overcome our "newbie" experience level. I hope this post will help others avoid the disasters I have been through. I will try to keep it short, but I could write a book about my experiences with this MH. First I want to say by profession I have been a Corporate Jet Technician for over 40 years meaning I need to be able to troubleshoot and repair all the systems on sophisticated Jets. I purchased a brand new 2023 Entegra Reatta XL 39BH in June from General RV Center in Ashland VA. This dealership only cared about receiving their money for nothing in return. The person who was suppose to show me around the MH knew nothing about the coach! I asked him very simple questions and he did not know any of the answers. This caused problems for me since the MH does not come with a manual. That's right Spartan ships you the manual weeks after you receive the MH and Entegra did not have any 2023 manuals and still don't till this very day! I was emailed a 2022 manual days later after complaining to Entegra. How can you not provide a manual with a product?There are differences between a 2022 & 2023 models. Getting back to General RV Center. I asked if the Diamond coating was applied to the MH because to me it did not feel as if it was. The person I asked looked through the paperwork and came back and said it was not applied. I told her that I paid for it. An hour later I was told that it was indeed applied, hmm. The finance manager came to me to let me know that he could not honor my locked in interest rate because of the rising rates. I asked him what part of locked in do you not understand. More to that story if someone wants to know. I rented a car one way to Ashland. I needed to return the car about 10 minutes away and asked the dealership if someone could pick me up from the rental car facility and they said no they did not have anyone that could do that!! In 2019 I purchased a 2017 Newmar Ventana from Midway RV center in Grand Rapids. What a difference, the person who showed me around that MH knew everything about it and they were always there if needed. So, through all that i am still excited and drove my new MH home the next morning. On the way home I discovered that the generator will only run for about 10 min and quit. When I got home I discovered that it was shutting down due to overheating. After trouble shooting it on my own (no help from General RV and Cummins has not returned a call from me or Entegra till this day!) I found that the cooling system was air locked, so that was an easy fix. Then after getting the generator to run I discovered that none of the AC units would come on line. After trouble shooting with Entegra and changing a control panel I discovered that it was wired wrong from the factory! This really pissed me off because they didn't check this on a check list before leaving the factory??? Please note that if I wasn't able to do this myself the local service centers were 4-6 weeks out before they would look at it. So, I said to myself I better get under this MH and give it a good looking over. I was shocked in what I found. Loose wires hanging down, wire bundles being held up by single wires, missing insulation, trim pieces falling off, loose latches and more! If this was an aircraft it would have been grounded! I know I was a fool for not doing this before taking it home, but I thought Entegra was a reputable company. Speaking of which, in my opinion the all around quality and finish of Newmar was hands down far superior to Entegra. I drove my Newmar for one year and 10,000 and had only one minor problem. Also, in my opinion you are better off buying a used MH that has the bugs rung out, and once out of warranty you can have anyone work on it! A few days later we left on our first trip planning to go from SC to PA and then on to Lake George NY. On the morning leaving PA upon getting on the highway the transmission started to act abnormal. I pulled off the highway and pulled into a gas station. I shut it down hoping to reset the MH and when I tried to start it again it would not start because the MH thought that the transmission was in drive. So, after speaking with Spartan and trying various things it was determined that it had to be towed to a service center. The tow was arranged through Coach-Net. So, after two days and four different towing companies (I am not kidding) my new MH was towed to a service center who said that they would get on it that afternoon or by the latest the next morning. It was towed to a Freightliner dealer because there was no Spartan dealers near by. So, there it sat for 4 days while my wife, grandkids, and my dogs stayed in a hotel before anyone ever looked at. I don't know why this service center said that they would look at it immediately and then did not. After 5 days it was determined to tow my new MH from Lancaster PA to Harrisburg. In my mind the problem had to be the transmission brain box or the controller at the drivers seat. I begged Spartan to send me the parts and I would swap them out but t Show less

The quality is very nice and the One shell design is really the biggest plus to me. Not having to worry about roof leaks is a huge thing, the quiet ride, and The painted body is just top of the line. It's got everything you would need in a rv with some extra comforts. Also one major thing about these COACH HOUSE MODELS is that they aren't thrown together cheaply...Built with precision. My husband and I have been researching RVs, and we’ve decided that a Coach House is the perfect one to meet our needs; however, our budget dictates that we focus our energies on trying to find the best used one we can with the lowest mileage for the lowest and best price that we can handle. You see; I’m disabled with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and have other other things to take into consideration too. Anyhow, the mileage shown for this 2007 Coach House is 0, which we understand can’t be right, so can you please tell us the correct mileage for this RV? Thank you! Anne Show less

If you want the best quality with the least maintenance this is your coach. These are comparable to the legendary chinook they are actually built better with Kevlar reinforcements yet cheaper. I loved my chinook concourse but we out grew it I love my larger coach house. Show less

Spectacular motor home. This is our first. Very easy to drive. Great amenities. Very livable. Love the new modern interior colors. This is the first one they built. Quality is clear. Factory support for both training and warranty has been spectacular. Just a joy to take to a campground, engage the slide outs, sit back and relax. We truly enjoy this motor home. Show less

This motorhome has been the perfect choice for us and we have enjoyed every moment spent in it but we must know when the time is right to let it go. It has been so easy to drive and maneuver even around mountainous curves. We enjoy cooking in the spacious galley rather than eating out all the time and feel very comfortable with the spaciousness it provides. Sliding out the couch in the evening and making up the queen size bed was never a problem and the dinette opens up into a long twin and gave our grandson a very spacious bed. There is ample storage space both inside and out and allows one to pack more than necessary. When there was a question, there was always an answer just a minute away by calling the CoachHouse dealership in Nokomis, Fl who are genuinely most helpful. Show less
