Airstream Rv Class A - Diesel reviews

We live in Colorado so wanted a diesel pusher to make it up mountain roads without being stuck in the slow lane. This is our home away from home. With three slide outs, this RV is very comfortable to relax inside with the family on a rainy day and not be on top of each other. Decent size closet and drawers in master bedroom for longer trips. The sliding door for the bedroom allows for privacy from guests sleeping in the main area. Two bathroom sinks are helpful. The shower is roomy for larger sized adults. Adults sleep comfortably on the queen size pull out couch mattress that air inflates and is surrounded by a quilted, zip close, mattress cover. The dining room table folds down to sleep two more guests. The kitchen has lots of counter space and cabinets to make preparing meals easy. The two air conditioning units worked fantastic when we camped a Lake Powell in 100 degree weather. Storage down under is made easy with sturdy roll out units. The motorized awning is awesome for eating outside, protected from the sun and rain. We have many happy memories of camping trips to Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, and Yosemite in our RV. One of our friends gave it the nickname "The Starship Enterprise." We have certainly explored the world's beyond! Show less

It is so much fun and easy to live out of on or off road with solar capability and a generator. It is great for rv parks or boon docking. Roomy enough to take a pet along as well. Great ride and very comfortable on the road. Easy set up. Not spending 45 minutes setting up when you arrive and again when you leave. Quick and easy with most features at touch of a button. This is a great very well felt RV and we love ours. Great floor plan excellent quality good drivability, the only problem is that National RV went out of business so I can't say anything about the factory or warranty support on it otherwise it would get five stars all the way across! Show less

Garbage never worked 1 year old now can't be fixed nexus don't care been at the dealers from day one the ford front end is good it's nexus that's no good everything feel apart and the wiring has never worked i pd 140000 they said they would buy back at 70000 what a slap in the face Show less

Purchased our Airstream interstate 24GL in Austin Tx from Compass and it’s been in the service shop longer than we have used it. We are very disappointed with the service and Airstreams support. We were concerned about the E1 Volta system when shopping for an airstream. We were assured the Volta had been out a couple of years with NO issues. We have now learned that Volta has been having issues prior to our purchase and now there is a recall on the system. Our airstream has already been to 2 dealerships and back in service 4 different times and the issue is still not resolved. Not only issues with the Volta but also with Timberline. Buyer beware!So very disappointed!! Show less

Bought mine a year and a half ago and absolutely love it! Built solid. 32 foot is plenty of space and still easy to drive down the road. Mine has two solar panels already installed. Since I purchased this used and 24 years old the rating for Factory warranty/Support is mute, but it made me put in a rating. Show less

DO NOT RECOMMEND AIRSTREAM or AIRSTREM RANGELINE. We purchased a new 2023 Airstream Rangeline in Feb 2023. The day of pick up, we noticed cabinets out of alignment, broken/missing items, unclean unit. We have been having issues with this unit since day one of pulling out of Blue Compass RV of Greensboro. On the first night- discovered a myriad of malfunctioning/dysfunction items, including electrical/ heating/water heating/battery charging/water tank & cabin temperature sensors/low glycol, water pump, overheated generator, MIRA app, and more. This unit has been in and out of service since purchase, and there solid since April 2024 for the same issues with heating, cooling, sensors, failed battery, leaking, electrical, and other things. In addition, there were a couple of mold infestation events while the vehicle was under the care of Blue Compass RV of Greensboro. There were multiple visits to the dealership and multiple failed camping attempts due to the unit malfunctioning. The last drop off was in April '24 was primarily due to the same heating, cooling, and electrical problems, cabinet misalignment, & collapse of a cabinet while driving, among others. Multiple issues were due to shoddy workmanship and poor-quality control. The heater didn't work in the winter and the AC didn't work in the summer. A few molds infestation incidences and roof leaking occurred during the service at Blue Compass of Greensboro. We asked for a replacement of a new working unit that does not have a history of mold issues and constant mechanical failures, or just give us a refund. Even though we purchased a new vehicle, neither Airstream nor Blue Compass RV is willing to step up and compensate us for our inconvenience, the loss of money/time/planned vacations. Rangeline is a hit and miss. Unfortunately, our unit was a miss with multiple signs of poor-quality control and engineering issues with having different software programs working together. PURCHASED: Feb’ 23 PICKED UP: March’ 23. DROPPED OFF FOR SERVICES: March, April, June, Sept, Nov of ’23, March ’24 twice, April ’24 and still there (now Sept 2023) – beyond Lemon Law. Show less

For the time we have had this Rv we have enjoyed it. Due to my husband’s health we need to sell it A great Rv for a couple. Has comfortable theater seats that you could actually sleep in if you wanted to. There is a queen size bed in the back. Full side slide behind driver’s seat Easy to drive, no need to tow a vehicle. Great Rv to go cross country with. Has full paint & a fiberglass roof. Just had it detailed - washed & ceramic waxed. Show less

This B+ is so easy to drive. My previous RV was a 40 foot class A, and the difference in the driving experience is hard to put into words. The Mercedes chassis is like driving a car rather than an RV. I love the layout of this rig, perfect for 2 people. Show less

I have owned two Airstream Interstates, and 06 for 11 years and an 07 for 7 years. First with my late husband, for the past 10 years just myself and the dog, On a Mercedes Benz diesel engine, they reliably get 18-24 mpg, and are fully self contained so that everything one needs for life is within that rig . Easy to handle in all kinds of weather, up and down mountains without difficulty, and all manual so none of the annoyances of electronic gizmos that go bad, Get into the small spots, go where the big rigs can’t, explore the country in luxury accommodations.
