This one of the best RVs we have owned. Quality and build is exceptional. It is a heavy fifth wheel at 10,000 lbs empty with a 2300 lb hitch weight but discovered it pulls very well with our 3500 Dodge Ram. Livability is supplied with a very open floor plan and the kitchen has a large counter area. We wanted an RV with tons of storage space and this rv delivers in that respect. Dining table and seats are larger than most with plenty of room for your family and friends. Upper bedroom has a standard Queen bed which we upgraded to a residential mattress. This makes for a very quiet and luxurious sleeping experience. Show less

This RV is everything you need and nothing you don't. Well built. Great floor plan. Easily 3/4 ton towable. Luxurious. Well insulated. Full-time rated. I lived in mine full-time for two years and wish I still could. Now I have the ultimate weekend/vacation toy. Get one, you won't be sorry! Show less

As with any new item there are always bugs that require working out. We've had to replace the floor in the dining slide due to water leak the 1st year out, haven't been pleased with it since. Floor after 2.5 yrs became soft not due to water leak, dealer & Mfgr stated common problem with no solution or recommended fix. Furnace had to be replaced 2X in 4 years as well as fridge required service & replace inverter both times within 4 years. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty. I won't purchase another. Thor industry that owns open range is only interested in the bottom line and cares nothing about product quality, service, or customer service. I wrote a letter to the CEO/President of the company and my letter was returned unopened and rejected. Every owner has floor problem. Show less

We've had our 5th wheel now since 2019. When it was built great attention was paid to quality control. Around 2020, I think things started to go downhill a bit with Vanleigh & they started to cheap out on cabinetry (plastic vs. wood), components & workmanship! We feel really fortunate to have had this experience with this unit as nothing major has ever gone wrong. Even before we beefed up the suspension, it pulled like a dream. There's about 19K miles on it & no problems at all except for cosmetic furniture breakdown which happens in all RVs that have a particular faux leather but that is not a fault of Vanleigh. Great service center in Tishomingo MS too! We will miss vacationing around in our little apartment on wheels. Show less

I email Highland Ridge on numerus times only have one reply from them over the 4 years I have bought their product, after i bought my RV. I email them on 2/10/23 and I haven't heard back from them. I received a pop up i would heard back from them in 72 hours. As of now, it been close to 100 hour. I am having issue with my led lights inside and i emailed them how to fix the issue. this is a safety concern of some one could getting hurt for imporoper lighting operation. I would not recommend buying an RV from Highland Ridge Customer Service rates 1-10 they would rate 0. Very poor customer service. Returning customers what keep company in business. I am planning on buying another new Fifth wheel this year and it will not be a Highland Ridge Product because they don't take care of their existing customers. Stay away do not buy Hightland Ridge. We had as I said the greatest fifth wheel or at least I thought so until Hurricane Ian. We were in love with this as our second home in Florida. Six slides with the living room in front, a large kitchen with so much room, bathroom with two sinks and a bedroom with a king size bed and huge closets and so so many cabinets. Even with a 130 mph winds she stood her ground. As other rv‘s and fifth wheels floated in the almost five foot storm surge she held fast. After the storm the outside was untouched but her basements filled with seawater. Her electronic controls compromised. About six inches of seawater came inside and with her slide controls down on floor of the master bedroom was destroyed and without any emergency release her slides would not open. We could only retrieve items in just a few cabinets in the kitchen, panty and us squeezing our arms to get to the cabinets by the massive television in the front living room and retrieve things in in the tall cabinets. We lost a lot of personal items because of the failure of getting any slide open. Our insurance company totaled this fine lady. I feel Vanleigh should really look and change where to place the mother board of the electronics and the main brains to the slides and put a emergency release on a few of the slides. There is not one fifth wheel built to match what we had and now Vanleigh doesn’t even have a six slide rig, shame on you Show less

DRYER FIRE HAZARD! I bought this RV used earlier this year. I bought a washer/dryer combo to put in the designated closet. My maintenance guy and I both noticed the little stickers on the wall where it says "DRYER VENT LOCATION" but because of where my vent was located on my dryer, we couldn't use that location and had to make our own. It's a good thing we didn't use that spot--a normal person with a normal dryer would probably assume that the sticker means to drill your 4" hole in that spot and that there is venting already inside the wall...right? WRONG! Due to another issue, I had to take the wall down in my half bath which is on the back side of the laundry area. I discovered that the so-called vent inside the wall for the dryer is actually a CARDBOARD BOX taped at both ends and just sitting inside the wall taped to a stud. Now to back track a bit...I emailed Jayco back when getting ready to install the W/D combo. I asked them how to install the vent in my RV. I told them there was a sticker on the wall with that message. Their response was simply how to install a dryer with a vent. So obviously not reading my email or understanding the question. So....if someone actually just drills a hole in the wall assuming there is a dryer vent in there already----HUGE FIRE HAZARD! No where for the lint to go except into a paper box! What on earth are they thinking when they build these RVs? I really hope nobody has actually attached a dryer how to that spot.....if so---remove it. Cheaply put together - trim is falling off - converter quit after two years-pullout spice rack fell apart -recliners are poor quality-airconditioner had to be replaced - problems with the electrical - and its not "lite". Show less

We made a great purchase, we’ve enjoyed every minute spent with this camper. We always get great compliments about this camper never a bad moment. I would purchase this camper again in a heartbeat. We enjoy outdoor living so we couldn’t ask for anything more except more time to travel and enjoy our camper Show less

This 5th wheel was build by "Tiffin" Vanleigh and has the same quality that their high dollar motorhomes have. Solid wood throughout the unit, hydr jacks,, three a/c's with heat pump, fire place, lots of storage inside and under, on demand water heater, double pain windows, king bed and a lot more. Because of our age and health we are getting out of RVing. Show less
