BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Do not purchase anything owned by thor which includes KZ. I purchased a new travel trailer in 2018 from KZ. I bought it to live in while traveling for work. Ac unit crapped out in under 30 days. Took another 30 days to get the dealership to replace. Didn't realize the dealership replaced it with a smaller unit until 3 months later. Just knew it wasn't cooling like it should. Called a mobile rv mechanic to check it out and he said it was too small for the square footage. Black water tank started leaking at 5 months. KZ customer service is a joke. Payed out of pocket to fix it. 1 side of fridge started having issues at 6 months. No help from KZ. Tank guages crapped out during same time period. Lots of little things I fixed or payed to have fixed. Fast forward to 3 years. While on the roof putting on a rv cover I bought, I noticed the roof bladder had several tears in it. Called KZ about it. They wanted pictures which I took and emailed to them. They asked when the last time I had the roof bladder serviced was. The minute I told them I had no clue that was a thing, no one ever told me that was something that needed done they said it voided any warranty due to lack of proper maintenance. Took my rv to a repair shop to get an estimate to fix the bladder. They said the tears were due to over stretching the rubber bladder from the factory. Apparently that's pretty common anymore. The factories cut them short to scrimp on material and have to overstretch to fit. Called KZ back and told them. They said it didn't matter, warranty was void due lack of maintenance. It cost me 8k out of pocket to replace the roof bladder. I now have a top of the line bladder with a 15 year warranty. No maintenance required. Long story short, DON'T BUY ANYTHING KZ OR MADE BY THOR.

The unit tows fine with a 1/2 ton Toyota. We are thankful we got the leveler hitch with anti sway break. Our grand kid are getting to old to want to go with us so we downsized to a small 5 th wheel and are selling our bunkhouse. Only complaint is the outdoor kitchen is too high to use comfortably. I need a short step stool to cook. Great trailer for the price.

I bought this RV brand new from the dealer. I have had nothing but problems with it from day 1. I just found out that my bathroom is leaking water and shorted out a bunch of my electronics(Bedroom slide and awning and porch light). I will not recommend the KZ product. I have had more than one brand of travel trailers and 5th wheels and this one has had the most issues of being brand new.

Dealer did a pretty good job making things right when they could. As with my other RV’s, charging a few more dollars to upgrade some features (like steps) would not have altered my purchase decision. 2019’s have a few upgrades.

Will never buy another kz junk product. In June of 2018, I bought a brand new kz spree 343rsk. Spent $50k on it. After only 2 months of use in August, the ac crapped out and had a leak in a black water tank fitting which leaked black water down onto the sealed underbelly causing it so pull down away from the frame, leaking sewage onto the ground. Not to mention the stink of it coming up through the vents. Called the dealership I bought it from and also kz. Also called a local guy out to assess everything. He charged me $135 for the service call and said the ac unit leaked out all the coolant and the whole unit would need replaced to the tune of $1500. He quoted $400 to fix the black water tank leak. I said everything is under warranty. He just laughed and said good luck getting it fixed under warranty because no repair shop is willing to wait months if at all to get paid from the manufacturer.I then relayed that information to both the dealership and kz with pictures of everything. All I got from both was a runaround. After 6 months now nothing has been done yet. A week ago some high winds ripped the rest of the underbelly down causing both the grey and blackwater tanks to freeze up. One of the selling points for this model to me was the sealed underbelly lessened the freezing of things because the furnace ducting was close enough to keep everything above freezing temperature. Just today 2/15/19,I had to get under the shower to unthaw a frozen pipe and saw that there is a 18" hole in the floor under the shower along with lots of wood scraps left from construction. I'll now have to figure out how to build some kind of support under the shower so it doesn't cave in. At this point I'm going to seek litigation against kz. As bad as I hate attorneys I'd rather pay one a bunch of money to try to get my money back for this junk product.

Built so crappy we call it escrap. refridge died, roof leaked, front bed leaks and keep replacing seals, enough already, its not the seals leaking obviously. Kitchen window leaked. gas flow stopped at 3/4 of tank, shower floors are weak. countless camping trips cancelled. Yes this this a high mileage camper but those miles are from transporting it back and forth to dealer for repairs. One nice thing is I can go skinny dipping in my own indoor pool while its raining. Thank god they stand behind the repairs for now but when warrantee is over, its gone

This is our 3rd camper purchase of the past 20 years. We are very pleased with our 191BH, its probably our favorite camper, even though its the smallest we've owned. I was concerned about the single axle versus the dual. I will say it tows like a dream! So much lighter and easy to maneuver. Trails my 2014 Tundra as well as a Dual axle. The modern look on the outside and amenities inside make the livability awesome. It has great ground clearance with 14 inch alloy wheels and adequate suspension. It has a whopping 7 windows which allowed a massive amount of light inside the camper. Blue tooth radio, Solar connectivity, Large bunks, vanity in the bathroom, If your looking for a great mid sized, ultra lite camper, I wouldn't hesitate purchasing a KZ escape. They are more than adequate for any camping experience, well priced and well built. Not to fancy but enough bells and whistles to make you feel like you camping in style. We shopped for months before pulling the trigger on this units and we haven't regretted it for a moment.
