I (second owner) have owned this travel trailer for 5 years and have traveled with it cross country four times in addition to running a number of short trips to national parks (Grand Canyon, Glacier National, Crater Lake) and it has provided a safe and comfortable shelter for two adults and two small dogs in both freezing (<15F) and extreme hot (>105F) weather. After traveling thousands of miles, I have found that this trailer has held up very well and looks to be on the road for many more years due to being well maintained and properly operated. Storage includes not only kitchen cabinets, but also storage under the bed (which pivots up to allow access and storage under the dinette benches. Both areas have been used to store tools, repair parts, dry food, blankets and many other items used on month long trips. Storage accessed externally is enough to store a hitch, load balancing bars, chock blocks, power cables, wi-fi antenna pole, and cleaning supplies. Vaulted ceiling, insulated skylights, 2" insulated side walls, double wall front with extra-tall diamond plate, sealed floor to keep holding tanks from freezing, and heavy-duty forced air 25,000 BTU furnace combine to keep the inside warm. I have used this trailer in temperatures down to 15F with no problem. After market modifications include installing all LED lights inside and outside; a 12V shut-off switch; addition of a half cabinet to provide additional storage; a new stove/oven; new awning; side and rear view cameras used during travel; locked battery storage box; and flex armor applied to the roof. The 19B is a well-built and designed travel trailer that optimizes convenience and ease of use in a small space that makes it ideal for "traveling" cross country in any weather. Anyone wanting more space simply needs to buy a bigger trailer. As my first RV, I could not have bought a better trailer.

We have had very good luck with our 177 trailer. We purchased it new in early 2016, all appliances are original and all still work properly. The water pump quit less than year in and I replaced it myself rather than hassle with taking it to the dealer. We have had no problem with leaks or the floor, the workmanship on ours is solid. We've towed this guy all over the West with no problems. Tires replaced one time, tongue jack replaced (I bent it in a parking lot). We did some upgrades like LED bulbs since ours didn't come with them standard. Our main roof vent did not come with a fan so I added that, also replaced both vent lids after one broke, I'm guess too much New Mexico sunshine. This is our first trailer and if we had it to do over again I'd something a little larger as its a tight fit for extended trip with two people. It has a wet bath which a little cozy, but workable. Trailer is light and we started towing with a Tacoma but upgraded to an Expedition, which barely feels the trailer. We do get a lot of looks on the road and we love the style. I realize a lot of reviews are generated by negative experiences, we feel very lucky that our experience has been so good.

We bought our 2015 Venture RV Sonic 220VRB at the end of May 2015. July 1st 2015 we started living in the camper fulltime, 24 hrs/day, 7 days/wk, 365 days/yr except for a 4 month stent where we didn't. We absolutely love the layout, it is great for 2 people full time. They say the camper is not made to live in,so with that in mind, we have done a great job of doing that. Ee did lise our hot water heater but that was only due to user error. The quality could be a little better, like they could use nails or screws instead of staples; that can be fixed. Would we buy another one, YES! The cost vs the money we saved is incredible. We really enjoy our Venture Sonic.

I could not be more happy with this RV. its been a dream for I and my family with copious space for kids and stuff. Outside cooking let me stay up late or wake up early without waking others. From a camout with friends or a huge space for 2, this RV is amazing. Its light, but at 30' its in the world of bigger stuff. It can manhandle small SUVs with V6s even if they are close to its towing since its so wide and tall vs the smaller suv. Once I got a big V8 pickup, it pulled exceptionally well.

My husband and I thought long and hard about the type of trailer we wanted and were really delighted with the Sonic - right size, had all the features we wanted, couldn’t wait to enjoy many camping trips. However, it developed a very bad leak behind the refrigerator - so bad that it required the whole back end and part of the bathroom to be rebuilt. We contacted the dealer we bought it from - oh, sorry, not under warranty, contact the manufacturer. Which we did, only to be given the runaround, we’ll get back to you, I need to talk to my supervisor, etc., etc. The trailer was only a couple of years old at this point. We bit the bullet and had the very expensive repairs done. And have enjoyed several camping trips since then. But today, when my husband went out to do some work on it, guess what - another leak, exactly same place, mold growing. I would say it is a design/manufacturing flaw. Needless to say, we are NEVER going to buy another Sonic, and can’t wait to trade this one in (if we can get anyone to buy it). Would hate someone else to end up in the same situation.

This unit was manufactured by Cruiser Industries, prior to their merger with Thor Industries. We camped for over 40 years from tents to motorhomes, it took us a year to find something that was this well built for full-time living and traveling. This all- weather unit is built solid and tows well. We chose this unit for the lightness, but stable, our tow vehicle was a 2008 Ford Explorer with towing package and V8. The size works well for the older and smaller state and national parks with limited space found out West. The unit’s design was perfect for two retirees full-time living, storage is very good. The shower is comfortable and easy to use. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen offered another dimension to the camping life-style. All-round good unit.

We looked at many RVs and many floor plans. Read so many reviews and decided on the Open Range Roamer. Apparently I didn't read the right reviews. The one we bought has had so many issues. Now, I'm not saying every one is a piece of junk, but mine is. Within the first 18 months (under the two year warranty) both A/C's went out, a gear box in the big slide went out (come back to that later), the rock guard separated in the front leaving a 6" gape in the siding, trim was coming lose in numerous places, the built in black tank wash didn't work, and there was a soft spot developing in the kitchen floor. Took it in and it was in the shop for approx 6 months. When we got it back, within 3 months, another gearbox in the kitchen slide went out. Come to find out, they had a bad batch of gear boxes. I complained and asked why the hell wouldn't they change the other 3 when they did the one if they knew they were bad. They "good faithed" them and sent the remaining gear boxes, free of charge, to the shop we had it at but didn't pay the labor ($700). Fast forests forward to now... it's 5 years old, the front A/C has been out for a year or so now, trim is loose inside again, and we have a big soft spot in the floor between the living area and bedroom. We took it in 6 months ago to have it looked at and the drain on the shower was dripping under the floor and saturating the insulation. It ran across the trailer and ruined the floor. This thing has been a headache. I guess the day this one was manufactured, someone was hung over, who knows. I would not buy another Open Range and would not recommend to anyone!
