We purchased a brand new Voltage 3850 and took it out the very first weekend. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, especially for an $80,000 unit that was supposedly ready to use.
Right out of the gate, we discovered the black and gray tanks were labeled backwards. While boondocking, what we thought was draining shower water turned into a much bigger and unpleasant issue. That’s a basic quality control miss that should never happen.
Next, the A/C units wouldn’t keep the camper below 80°F—even though it was only 82°F outside. After digging into it, we found the thermostats were wired incorrectly from the factory, causing the compressors not to kick on—only the fans would run. Again, another major oversight that should have been caught before delivery.
Then the first night, just as we were trying to fall asleep, the light above the bed started strobing on and off. It would stop just long enough to think it was fixed, then start again. Extremely frustrating and unacceptable for a brand new unit.
To top it off, the “14 ft garage” is actually closer to 13 ft 5 in. That’s not a small discrepancy when you’re planning around space for equipment or toys.
Overall, this experience has made it clear that quality control is seriously lacking. For the price point, there’s no excuse for this many issues right out of the box. Buyers should be prepared to thoroughly inspect everything themselves before relying on it.

Tip out motors are starting to fail but it is 13 years old so that is just maintenance at this point
Only had a couple warranty items very minor and no problems even as second owner
