We got our RV during the height of Covid, but that just showed us how good the company was at supporting their customers. Everything that was wrong was fixed as soon as we realized we had a problem. We live in our unit and we are as happy as we were the day we took it off the lot. It has more comforts and more storage than our last two homes. We are so happy that we upgraded to the Beacon 42RDB. Ordered this rv back on Nov 3rd 2021 and it was promised to be delivered by the end of Jan 2022. Just arrived and it’s mid March. Nothing but excuse after excuse on the delays. Ordered the 42rdb beacon with fire opal paint and it showed up with white Coleman ACs, not the standard Coleman Mach 8 ultra low profile black ACs that were supposed to be installed. Out of the 3, the heat pump ax unit doesn’t even function! No phone call, no nothing. Looks terrible. Then during inspection we find that they drilled screws through the kitchen light wood frame (exposed screws) and the wood is split in multiple locations all the way around the kitchen, chips in the exterior paint, many defects on the interior! Broken back window that won’t close, molding falling off in the bathroom, kitchen island wobbly and not secure, kitchen sink spout loose and sprayer won’t retract, stainless steel kitchen sink terribly scratched, all TVs crooked, scrapes Show less

A beautiful, nice towing, piece of junk. We spent 165k on this, expecting a high end 5h wheel, with very few if any problems, but it's making me feel very stupid for listening to the salesman, who told us all about how Vanleigh was top of the line and, how the company's main concern was quality, with the best furniture and appliances. I don't know why these RV companies use Furrion TV's and appliances, they are garbage period! I don't know anything about Franklin furniture for houses, but the junk they gave us is NOT comfortable. Where did they get the people who assembled this 5th wheel?! The shelf in the bathroom was upside down, the wall behind the sink was not attached or sealed! Screws are falling out, I expect the walls to fall off any time! One of the slides in the living room has been stuck in since October! I had to go to Tucson RV to get an apt. for Jan 17th! They shipped the parts to the wrong RV dealer, then they didn't do anything for 2 weeks, then sent them on, and it was for the wrong slide! These people don't know how to make a RV, and are complete idiots! BIG TIP: DO NOT BUY A NEW RV! Unfortunately, I've spoke with owners of other brands, and they all have a lot of problems for the first 5 years. Buy a cheap travel trailer, at least you'll get what you expect. Show less

The worst RV I have ever owned! Don't buy one... Quality sucks. Nothing but problems.......if you want nothing but bull, and I MEAN nothing but, then buy one of these trailers and you'll be nothing but Miserable... Show less

"Do not buy one"This is the worst RV I have ever owned! The Quality is Horrible, Over 50 items and counting. you name it has failed on this unit. Suing them to get my money back. Have only had it 7 months and I'm done with playing their games! Show less

We bought the Beacon almost two weeks ago, had some issues (bad A/C, bad on demand hot water system and a few minor issues) that necessitated we leave the camper at the dealer for a week for repairs. A bit disappointing, but the dealer worked the issues within our timeframe. This is our 4th RV and by far the best, not only in amenities and comfort but also in form, fit and quality construction. As with any RV we expect to find some additional issues, and we have, but the dealer in Tampa has always supported our repairs on our timetable and we don’t foresee them being any different this time. Time will tell if our Tiffin product will stand the test of part-time RVing. If their reputation is any indication we should have no worries. We are looking forward to many a trip spanning the better part of this country. I’ll be happy to add to this review in a year or so to give you a better picture of how the Beacon is doing. Purchased a new 2020 42RDB Beacon. The transfer switch needed to be replaced the first week, which I will say Vanleigh did send a replacement out after several phone calls. My concern is that the literature that I received from Beacon was very limited in that it was missing numerous important docs. It took me numerous emails and phone calls to get “some“ missing docs.
