I have enjoyed my FR Surveyor 252RBLE thoroughly. The layout works well for me. Some tweaks will have to be made, but over all a winner on all counts. The cabinet door handles have sharp edges, not dangerous but definitely will nick your shins, especially the ones under the dinette, I’ll replace them this winter. The AC is loud, with recent products that are quieter and more efficient, I’ll upgrade that. The thermostat isn’t accurate, and I’ll upgrade that as well. I upgraded the mattress, but that seems to be a standard upgrade in the RV world anyway. The layout is GREAT! I can access the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with the slide in, no problem at all. The rear facing recliner chairs have a great set up to relax. Plenty of counter space, and efficient storage in the kitchen area. The hanging closet and storage in the bathroom are great too, especially in addition to the already well designed bedroom storage. The vacuum is load, but works VERY well, and helps maintain a tidy space. The pantry storage area is huge, and in the exact right place. The outdoor ‘kitchen’ area is great, with a propane line and water all in one area. I did some updates out there, as I won’t use the small fridge, so I added an ice maker, and a ninja oven / air fryer thing. I haven’t had any issues towing, but I’m not an experienced RV-er yet, more to follow!

We recently bought our new camper from RV Nation. We love the layout and overall quality of the camper except for the leaking water heater which leaked water as soon as we turned on the pump. RV Nation isolated the problem and turned into Forest River Warranty for approval. It took days and multiple follow ups to get Forest River to review and approve the warranty. I am told it is taking over 12 weeks to get parts delivered to the deal for repairs. I tried calling Forest River who has directed me to a mailbox that says they have moved their office. I am not getting any response. We have planned multiple camping trips that have been prepaid and it now looks like we will not be able to use the "NEW" camper all summer. By the time we use it, our 1 year warranty will have expired. I am amazed that we cannot get a brand new camper that has never been used immediately fixed. Horrible service, horrible warranty, no accountability. This is a clear buyer beware situation if you have any warranty needs or support.

I like the many luxury packages. The tv swings from the Livingroom into the bedroom. The SLIDEOUT also increases the Livingroom space. Lots of storage especially for a 22' trailer. Large front storage and under queen bed storage is nice too. I have a weight distribution hitch, but the trailer is so well balanced I don't use it unless I really load up the back of my Toyota Tundra box. I highly recommend this Surveyor Travel Trailer. Oh ya, this trailer is pet and smoke free and used only 3 times so it is just like new.
